This is so darling! Even adults want to play with it.

I got this set for my 18mo old granddaughter. When I first got it I, all I could do was adore how darling it was and go through each item and think of things I could make with my granddaughter. She came to visit a few days later and loved it. I poured some Kix in one pot and some yogurt in another and she had a blast stirring those around and test tasting them. I need to get a little oven for her but meanwhile she used a box that was the perfect height for her to cook her meal. Some adult women friends were over and I just had to show them and they too thought it was just adorable and wanted to try to cook with them. It's astonishing how alike they are to the adult versions. I'm super pleased with this set. The little rack is super convenient for storing them all together. I keep them on a shelf of my lazy Susan so she can get to them easily when we're in the kitchen together. I'm sure this set will bring many years of joy and delicious little make-believe treats for us to enjoy and share.

Worth it!

The set is super cute, sturdy and well done. It cones with a rack as well, I decided to throw that one away only because my baby is only 2 and would have never used it lol. The bad reviews are from people who thought this was an actual set?!? Really, $19 for two pans, a pot and a strainer?? But don't let them make you double guess this one. The only thing is that since they are made of stainless steel they are quite noisy if your little one decides to play the drums with them. Other than that, highly recommended!

Great quality set

Used for baby photo shoot at home. Turned out soo cute. He actually loves this set at 11 months. Chews on the spoons. Bangs on the pots. Good purchase!

Perfect for Play Kitchenette Sets!!

Super adorable and durable kitchen additions for your little one! These are so life like ... and the fact that they are made of real stainless steel .. they are just like Mommie's pots and pans! There is one set that has two stainless steel utensils and another set that has two wooden utensils. I got the one with the stainless steel utensils, as described. They are little ... people complained about it but they should consider the fact that a toddler's play kitchenette set has a very small oven range, oven, sink and so on .. so they fit to scale. Plus, they are small enough for your toddler to handle. However, the price is a bit much ... I waited until I found one on Amazon warehouse for around $12.

Great set

These are great! They want perfect with my grand baby's kitchen. They are metal and very sturdy.they look better than my own set. If you can get use to the noise of the banging and clapping(what's kids do) then they are perfect

Love, love, love these! First off, I love all things Melissa and Doug! Our daughter is almost two and already loves the pretend play with her kitchens. She "helps" me quite a bit as well and she picks up quite a bit. I actually went through a few other sets before this one and was horribly disappointed by them. Most often they were entirely to small and cheaply made and the style I bought like this seems too sharp in places and unsafe. We are on a really tight budget and when I saw these go on sale on amazon, I just had to order. Such a better quality than everything else I came across before and adorable! The set comes with a holder to stack them together and the side of her kitchen has a little hook that holds it perfectly!

Well made set

After shopping around and reading a few concerning reviews for less expensive set, I decided to spend the extra few dollars for this Melissa & Doug set, and I'm glad I did! My 18 month old son loves playing with my real pots and pans, so we decided to get him his own real-looking set. He loves these, and he even likes putting them away on the rack that came with the set. I also don't have to worry about small parts coming loose, which was something that people had mentioned with the less expensive metal sets.

Awesome baking/cooking toy set!

Great set! So happy with this toy from Melissa & Doug. Been concerned of their products due to history of recalls in the past, but after reading the reviews here and around on the web, my husband and I decided to give it a shot. My daughter loves these. Perfect for imaginative baking. Perfect for being a drum set. And they are even fun in the tub which brings me to my next point-- they are truly stainless steel. We have had them exposed to water quite a bit and there has never been any kind of rust. Thank goodness for that cause she loves putting them in her mouth too. Was wary of them being made in China, but actually they are pretty solid as a toy overall and true to the description of what they are made of.

Looks more like the real thing than a toy set!

My 8 yr old had 2 sets so friends can play Master Chef Jr. Carryall makes for a great display and the bamboo utensils are a nice touch. These are so high quality I feel like I should be cooking on them! Great product.

5-inch diameter pots and pans

After a month of searching for the perfect stainless steel cookware set for my daughter's all-in-one-kitchen from PBK, I took a risk and ordered the Melissa and Doug Let's Play House set after reading the one and only review which gave 3stars because of size. That seemed to be the biggest complaint of nearly every metal cookware set online. The product description on Amazon and other websites does not provide dimensions, so for those who want specifics, the pots and pans are 5" in diameter from lip to lip. They are about 1-2" larger than most sets, and the pieces are 1-2" smaller than the pieces from PBK, which are much more expensive. I had initially planned on buying the stainless set sold at PBK, but when I saw the pans in person, I decided they were too big for the all-in-one-kitchen and were too long to hang from the display hooks above the kitchen's mini sink. I looked at the Alex Completer Cook Set in a local toy shop and felt the pieces were tiny and flimsy, although cute. I worried other sets by Alex would be similar. I considered the Kidkraft set after reading its positive reviews, but I didn't want/need the included play food; plus, I prefer wooden utensils since some reviewers said the metal utensils in the Kidkraft set were too sharp. Another reason I chose this set is because I wanted a mini colander. It's cute and a decent size for Haba playfood. The storage rack and presentation makes this set ideal for gift-giving. I know my daughter will love having cookware that looks like Mama's, and I'm thrilled to have found a quality product that contains no toxins or chipping paint, and that is large enough for "washing" and "cooking" play food, but not so large that it dwarfs my daughter's play kitchen (similar in size to Kidkraft's retro kitchen). Great product. Highly recommend!
