My husband quit smoking and uses these to hold his toothpicks! We have one in every vehicle, one on the boat and jet ski and one in the house as well as at work!

Comparison n wysi wipe worthy

The cost of about $.70 more here, than from at the local outdoor store in town, is soo worth it. Lets compare this one has a nice mirror inside the lid, local camping store, no mirror. This one has a smooth, round, matte flint on the bottom. The camping store one has a shiney, uneven flint that showed glue globs where it was glued on. Gonna try to spark them both of it ever stops raining. The o-ring that keeps it waterproof is much more rubbery on this one compared to camp storeone. And lastly, one of the reasons i bought this one was to fit towel tablets, or wysi wipes in. They fit easily in this one. Camp store one is same size externally, but tapers inside by 1/2 mm so they go in halfway and stop. Stuck. Grrr. Soo worth the extra few cents as this is a survi al item that should not be skimped on. I mean, it could be very important! I may need tiny toilet paper on the trail, or the ability to light it on fire when i get lost. Hope this helps

I like the color. Something to hold matches to keep them dry. It has a tiny striking bar glued in a little slot which will probably fall out so I recommend cutting of the side of your match box or putting a piece of a nail file in with your matches. It also has a little mirror in the cap.

Compact and Watertight

Excellent little watertight case for small objects. Got it to hold compressed cotton cloths, not matches, could fit seven in it, part of my backpacking toilet kit. The emergency signal mirror and embedded flint are nice features in case an emergency should befall you on the trail.

Highly recommend for everyone

This was exactly as advertised. It arrived quickly and in excellent condition. I use this to keep tissue tablets in for when I go on camping or extended hiking trips. Being waterproof it keep my tables dry even when I fell into a stream and everything I was carrying got completely soaked. I also use this to keep my matches dry so I don't have any problems getting a fire started. I would recommend any camper or hiker to have several of this well made product.

Great addition to my EDC

Great addition to my EDC - fits 8 ”Wysi Wipes” perfectly (compressed towel tablets that expand when you put water on them) great product, convenient, light weight. However, the mirror that was glued inside of the cap popped off so I had to glue that back on. (Not a big deal as the mirror is not important for the task this item accomplished)

Very pleased, and as described.

Very pleased with these, and they are as described. I am not using these for matches, but as toothpick holders. I find that these will hold them very well, and the case will hold up to being in a pocket, a truck, or a bag, and not breaking what is inside of them. I can not attest to the waterproofness, but it seems like they would stay dry. Quality is as expected.

Great little product with other uses

I've bought several of these from walmart and amazon. The quality is fine either way. I think the value is better at walmart, as a $1 match case also comes with matches. However, I used these for storage of wysi wipes for travel. They work great for that purpose and I'm glad I bought them.

Great container for coin towels!

I bought 12 of these, which holds 7 coin towels per container. A perfect fit. For those of you who don't know what coin towels are, they are compressed towels that are the same diameter as the inside of these match containers. Pouring water on the coin towels expand them for use. Great for bug out bags.

Used for pill shaped “just add water and it expands” cloth wipes. Keep this in our dog walking messenger bag just in case a poop bag has a hole and you get the gift of poop on your hands.
