These bags are perfect for freezing food
I learned my lesson. I am now stocking up on these. I cooked a huge batch of casserole before leaving for a long trip, so that my husband can have a healthy meal even when I am not home. I realized late into my cooking that I ran out of these freeze bags, so I was forced to buy the more expensive brand from a big box store. These bags are perfect for freezing food, economical and very sturdy! I've never had one break on me. They are ribbed on one side, like the more expensive version. I do take time and effort to write my reviews. If this helped you in any way, please click “YES” on the bottom. Thank you.

Great quality, easy on the budget
I bought both the rolls and the quart bags. The rolls are great because I can make any size bag I need. I've waited a few weeks to write this review because I wanted to have some experience with the bags. So far so good, they have worked very well, maybe a bit better than the name brand bags I used prior. I have not had any of the sealing errors that I sometimes had before. What I like best is that I use my Sous Vide machine more now because these are more economical and at this price I can afford to experiment.

Great quality bags for sous vide
I purchased these to use with my foodsaver for sous vide. The bags are nice and strong - actually I found the quality to be better than the foodsaver bag roll. I was cooking a pork roast sous vide and the food saver bag broke at the end of cooking. Same size roast with these bags - no issues!! I've since done lots of cooking of larger items - racks of ribs - for longer periods of time - like 36 hrs - - bags held up with no problem. AND they're cheaper than the foodsaver bags! It's a win-win here. The size of these rolls was great - but I now see that they offer a combination package of a larger and a smaller one - - might be how I purchase them next.

Just as good as the higher priced named brand bags, but at a fraction of the cost. Highly recommend.
Work great! I have a Food Saver and have been using their bags because they are higher quality than the ones you can get from Walmart, they're thicker and hold a better seal. But after getting tired of spending big $$$ on their bags I decided to give these a try. The thickness seems comparable to Food Saver brand bags and they hold a seal very well. I've used them to seal steak, chicken quarters, cheese, vegetables, and a few other things. So far no seals have been compromised and all of the bags are still airtight, some have been in the freezer for six months. I do double seal on on steaks and chicken just for extra protection. Overall, I highly recommend and will continue to buy them. Just wish I had discovered them before spending much more on Food Saver bags.

They just flat work!
These work very well with both my Cabela's pro model (Weston 1100 rebadged) and my upright FoodSaver. I package usually 100+ lbs of venison per year, lots of fish, garden veggies, etc and they work very well. My favorite part about these is I can pull off a 2 foot length, pack 20lbs of skinned/quartered tomatoes, and seal the whole thing up until I'm ready to can them. I've never found a bag that has lost it's seal, even after 2 years in the freezer.

Work as well or better than the brand name.
Like others noted I had to re-roll these into smaller rolls to fit in the food saver, but once that is done they work as well or better than the originals. Good product and because it is also a good value I find myself using the food saver more than ever. I usually can my beans from the garden but last fall I used these bags to freeze over 32 pounds of green beans and they still taste as amazing as they did when I first picked them. No problems at all with sealing.

The price point more than compensates for the necessity to rewind to a shorter roll.
The product was package well and received in good condition. Do to the amount of material on a 50 foot roll it would not fit into my particular vacuum sealer, FoodSaver V2840. To remedy this I rewound 50% of the roll onto the core of a previously used roll. There is a tactile feel difference between this product and the OEM product supplied. As far as operating performance it works equally well. There have been no negative issues with sealing or product storage.

Great Bag at a Good Price
I'm just about to finish up the first roll of these and I can find nothing wrong with them at all. I've never had one leak and I've been using them in my sous vide cooker for up to 8 hours sometimes. If they were going to leak, they'd do it then. They much, much cheaper than the Foodsaver brand bags, which I was reusing because of their cost. I don't bother with these, because they are so affordable. I will buy them again in the future and would recommend them to anyone.

everything from rolled oats to sweet corn. this summer when the sweet corn came ...
I try to buy in bulk, everything from rolled oats to sweet corn. this summer when the sweet corn came on I put up 12 dozen ears in 4 to a pack and froze them. I have done this now for 3 years and have used different brands of roll bags There were some that were thinner than the FoodVacBags. I ended up with a hole in one from bumping in the freezer. For the price and quality of these bags I wont buy any thing else. We buy Beans rice rolled oats all in 50 lb. bags and end up in 1 to 2 1/2 lb. vac bags. this saves a lot of money for my use and for my kids and grand kids.

Awesome Bags.
These bags work just as well as the Food Saver brand. I particularly like the length of the rolls given that my Food Saver Unit is used almost daily. I think I actually like these better as the seals on the "cut edges" actually shows more clearly so that I can easily see that there is a good solid seal. They work well for re-use with NO problems with developing holes or problems getting the bags to seal over & over again. I also use these in the 8" width as well with equally good results. Just as with all bags & the Food Saver Unit, there are some little "tricks & tips" that make using these units easier & more successful. Anyone desiring to know "how" I do the foods, both dry & liquid, are welcome to ask me. (Absolutely NO personal connection to any manufacturers of either of these products!!! Just use them all the time & have for a few years now.)
