This is a great high chair! At first we wanted to get a modern wood chair that wouldn't look like some icky plastic crap at the table, but a friend told me to get this one. I didn't think it looked that bad, so we got it. I'm so glad we did! First, it sits securely on one of your regular chairs, so it doesn't take up additional floor space. You need to wipe off your chair from time to time because stuff will get on it, but the plusses are that you don't have an additional chair around the table, and it's less obtrusive. I guess if you have such a large family that you need every chair, that's a minus, but that was not our situation. I probably would not use this on a chair that had fabric padding, or I'd put down a towel before latching it on. Second, it's portable and folds down and you can use the strap as a handle, so if you need to travel locally, you can just fold it down and throw it in the car. It's light. I probably wouldn't take it to a restaurant, but I guess you could. Third, the trays are dishwasher safe, and the cover is nice if you prepare a whole meal and the kid doesn't eat it. You can just put the cover on, refrigerate, and serve it in a few hours. Fourth, it has 3 settings for height, and 3 for how tight the tray is, so I can see it lasting for a long time (we've been using since 5 months and she's now a year and still totally fits.) Finally, the whole thing is plastic except the straps so you can just wipe it down. I can't even imagine having fabric padding on a high chair now that we've had this. Meal time is messy. Get the plastic chair!

This is the second one of these that we have bought and our first one, picked up about 4 years ago for the first of three children, is still working perfectly--the only reason we bought a second is that we have two kids that need a booster seat! Two of the things I love about the seat: the adjustable height, which makes it easy to use with sitting infants through preschoolers, and the easy clean-up of the hard plastic. It's simply tons easier to clear than a cushy fabric cover. We have tended not to use the dishwasher-safe tray too much; once the child discovers that the tray *can* be lifted off, he or she inevitably will lift it off and drop it on the floor when it's full of food. Therefore, there's a period when that tray isn't terribly useful between about 9 months and 2 1/2-3 years. If you're traveling, I'll also point out that this is a *great* seat to carry around; it is quite compact (the seat back folds down, and when the tray is attached backwards, the whole thing has a basically square footprint), it's light, and the straps for attaching it to chairs can be used as shoulder straps. It's also very easy to get the straps to attach tightly to just about any chair, as well as to benches *if you're careful and stay with the kid*--since you can't stabilize the seat with multiple points on a bench, that is a bit more dangerous. Overall, I highly recommend this seat--it's really a great one, and will last through multiple children without stress cracking. My 6-year-old used the seat for about 2 years and his 2-year-old brother has been in that same seat for over a year now. I don't anticipate any problems before the 2-year-old ages out of it.

Love this so much I have two. One for my two year old and one for my 9 month old. We have a small kitchen and prefer to have the kids in chairs instead of high chairs. ... Update: My kids are now two and three, we still use these. We have lowered one all the way down to 1 and the other is on 2. I popped out the belts because they no longer need them. They are easy to put back in if we hand them down to another child. Still a great product!

Great chair. It was hard to imagine (without seeing in person) how it could secure snugly to a chair. It does! The chair we use it on has vertical rungs in the back, so it was easy to thread the straps through. If you had a chair without the rungs, I am sure you can secure the chair around the entire back of the chair. A second set of straps hooks underneath the chair and that puppy is secure. The feet are adjustable too- maybe raising and lowering the unit 4 inches or so. One thing, the tray says dishwasher safe. I am kicking myself for believing that. One cycle through the wash and the tray is warped- it looks like it is trying to take off and fly away! May contact Fisher Price for a replacement UPDATE 12/7- I called Fisher Price and I had a free replacement tray cover in less than a week. SUPERB customer service. Overall, comfortable and secure chair- may replace our big high chair. But for now, it is great for traveling to Grandmas and for all the holiday dinners!

This chair is great if you’re limited on space, or just plain don’t want a huge high chair taking up a ton of room. I specifically bought it so i could take my 8 month old to restaurants with us without the hassle of the restaurant’s chairs they offer. This chair has very long straps that are easy to tighten. The tray comes apart so you can clean everything nicely and nothing gets stuck in cracks. It is hard plastic, but my son hasn’t seemed u comfortable in it at all and we’ve been using it since 6 months old.

I bought this booster seat for my first grandchild 11 years ago and it worked great. It was easy to use at my house, to take it to restaurants so we didn't have to use, what can be, very disgusting booster seats. We took it camping, to friends houses, etc. and it was easy to carry and really takes very little room in the car. The back of the seat flips forward and the trays clip on backwards so what you're left with is a cube. My love-bug was a little shortie, so we used it till she was six or seven and it remained in really good condition so we passed it on to a friend when she became a grand- parent. Now we have two little twin girl grandbabies, (who are absolutely adorable) and since this seat worked so well the first time, I ordered them again. They've been using them since they were able to sit up in highchairs. The new ones are just as great as they were 11 years ago! Well made, safe (haven't found a chair yet that it won't work with) and they are very easy to clean thoroughly. Love them!

This is so versatile...used it for brand new baby with blankets to prop her up, way better than jumbo and it packs better too...remoive tray and I can pack insuitcase around clothes or in carseat inside carseat checked bag! We take this to the beach for sand seat, camping, on the counter, floor for Christmas time, now it sits at table with buckles tucked in and no tray as a booster seat for my now 3 yr old! Best seat that grows with them ever!

So we have 3 Kids. 12,3 &4. For our first, like typical first timers, we spent a ridiculous amount of money on unnecessary baby equipment. If you are a first timer- take some advice.....don't waste money or space on a separate fancy high chair. They get gross, they waste space and aren't necessary. You aren't supposed to feed children that can't sit up, so why does everyone want a reclining high chair?? I purchased the Fisher price space saver for my 2nd daughter. I liked it, but it's bulky and you can't fit the chair under the table, even on the lowest height. This booster is perfect. It is compact, but both my 3 and 4 year olds fit it fine. It fits great and snug on the chairs. It has a little raised spot in between the legs, so they aren't slipping out. It's super easy to adjust the height. I LOVE the folding back. It folds right down into a little cube. Traveling with this is super easy. I purchased the blue one and the red one for my preschoolers. Both have straps that are colored instead of white. That's great because they won't look so gross and stained. Every chair I ever owned had white straps and they end up looking disgusting. The straps tighten to the chair really well and the buckles are better quality than some I've had. It is well made. Solid. It doesn't have any crevices where food will get stuck. The trays are great. I like the cover option. They snap snuggly to the trays. Obviously a child can pull it off... That's not what it's meant for. I would also skip the separate tray with the cup holder, until your baby is old enough to understand, they aren't allowed to take it off while food is on the tray. Thankfully my kids are old enough, that won't be a problem. The trays are big enough to fit a large plate, but easily fit in the dishwasher. They will clean up really easy. Most fancy high chairs are impossible the get really clean. I've had multiple high chairs, boosters and space savers over the last 12 years, but this one is by far the best made, most convenient and most versatile seat. especially for under $25.... I mean come on!! Lol. I should have used one from the beginning and saved a lot of resources, aggravation and $$. Highly recommended!! Good job Fisher Price!! Obviously it was a parent with some experience that developed this seat :)

Liked the first one so much we bought the same one for our second kid. Our kids will both sit happily for much longer at a restaurant in these seats compared to a restaurant high chair. They are comfy and secure and their crayons don’t roll away. And this means that my hubby and I can relax!!! Also when they are folded it holds 2 drinks perfectly!! Or a drink, bib, food, spoon, and diaper clutch which means no diaper bag!!!!

Love the chair. Saw a few reviews of the straps slipping through. To prevent them from slipping through accidentally, we added zip ties so that the straps wouldn’t go through. The removable straps make it easy to remove and clean the straps if they get dirty, so I understand why they did it.
