Works.
Stainless steel zipties! Wee! Never knew these existed! You need to push them through in the right direction and really wiggle and crank them down with some pliers to get them tight. better have some good bits and a file for those sharp edges. Not very easy to use.

I'll never go back to zipties.
After about 1000 zip ties rotting away on my jeep I was tired of it, time for steel. These things are AWESOME! I will never use zip ties again for anything automotive that is going to see sun, grit, or grease. They are easy to use, and can be loosed by sticking a small (really small) flat head in the end of the catch. I am currently using these for everything from electrical lines to fuel lines, to brake lines!

Incredibly Strong
I use these on my car exhaust system and also on my outdoor metal fence. They are super strong and you need to be careful that you put them exactly where you want them because they are tough to cut. I use a special cutting tool to remove them. Very good quality and I have never had one break!

These things are great, i have been finding all sorts of uses for them. One nice thing is that they are not razor sharp, that is until you trim them... I have them in several places under the hood where i installed heat wrap in order to protect things from my headers, if i forget they are there they will slice my hands open. The work around is to round the edges with a small fine file after cutting the excess off.

Very strong, won't Rust. good price.
Very strong, won't rust, need I say more. Have used plastic ones for years but always having to replace them because of breakage. NOT THESE. Would highly recommend these to anyone that uses zip ties. Top notch. Would definitely purchase again.

Those pesky plastic cable ties break after time in the sun....not these. Thwart those ultra violet rays and use these.. Take care though,,,once locked into the loop...there is no turning back...or undoing them with ease.

A must have Item for Gear Heads
These zip ties have been great from holding heat shielding to a starter (motor). To scrapping out dirt from a nooks and crannies. Only issue I've had is cutting them, much thicker than I would have thought and do not snip easily with some pliers or wire cutters. I would recommend tin snips or just squeeze really hard on your wire cutters (but don't say I didn't warn you). Not dinging the product for this because it was more of a plus in my opinion for how thick the metal is. Definitely not worried about the steel breaking. Not sure about the cinching mechanism, but if it doesn't hold, I'll update the review . Thus far a month strong on a starter, holding a heat shield.

Does exactly what it should
I had no problem with these. Having read the reviews, I knew these weren't just like normal plastic zip ties and that they didn't have the little grooves in the band. Rather than rolling the ends or twisting, I folded the top back over itself and smoothed down the edges to make sure I don't slice myself if I have to stuck my hand around there. Rolling under like the top review is also good. As long as you understand you still need wire cutters and/or needle nose pliers with the cutters, you'll be fine. I used mine to secure some heat tape-wrapped accessory cabling to the frame under the tank of my motorcycle and it has held great.

Great ties for outside use!
These are just what I needed. Nylon zip-ties tend to rot from ultraviolet light and then crack and fall apart after a few years of outside use. I really don't see that happening with these if they are quality stainless steel. If they are poor quality stainless steel, I suppose I'll start seeing some rusting of the product down the road. If they do, they'll still outlive the nylon ones by quite a few years. They are real easy to work with.

Great product ... just misunderstood.
I can't believe all the people giving this item bad reviews for not understanding the product. I've included some pictures to help with my explanation. First, this item is intended to be used with this ... Eclipse 902-321 Stainless Steel Cable Tie Tool, or an equivalent. Personally I didn't want to spend that much or more, so I found an alternative online. I found a long pair of needle nose pliers worked to secure my heat wrap on my exhaust. Cut excess to around 1", grab the very end and twist it under to tighten. This may take a few attempts to get it right, it worked adequately for me. Hope this helps. It's unfortunate this product is getting poor reviews by people not understanding how it works.
