Perfect size to take to college and had some necessary tools (needles, thread, sizzors, etc). I got 2-one for each of my grand-kids (a girl and boy) so they could take it with them and it would not be too bulky!

Great Sewing Basket for your beginning seamstress/tailor!

Our 6 year old granddaughter loves to sew. So we got her this starter sewing basket and an entry model Singer Model 1304 sewing machine. This kit includes a nice variety of items for beginners. Even includes a stitch ripper! Nice selection of threads. The Granddaughter said she is going to make me a pillow! Case is nice and sturdy.

Exactly what I needed!

I just recieved this item a few hours ago. I haven't actually used any of the needles or anything yet but just by appearance it is exactly what I need and it has a cute, small, carrying case. Don't expect to be pro status with this. I literally just needed an affordable sewing kit with the basics to sew up some holes in my girlfriend's clothes. The items come in a plastic bag with everything inside so don't expect a fancy tray or anything. Overall, great product. It's small but definitely fits my basic needs.

Tiny but perfect for a child's first sewing kit.

I purchased this for my 7 year old granddaughter for her birthday. She liked the bright colors and her favorite color right now is rainbow so it was perfect. This is a tiny sewing basket with the supplies being tiny as well. So cute. BUT this was exactly what I wanted for a little girl. I don't understand people leaving bad reviews for an item about the size when it's listed in the description! I only changed out one item and that was the straight pins. They were very tiny and I could just imagine them everywhere. So I purchased some with rainbow colored heads. If your looking for a small sewing kit for a small child this is perfect. I think it would also work for someone who only needs the occasional seam or button fixed.

Such a cute little box with a tiny pin cushion and other supplies. Great for beginners too. The box makes an adorable addition to my mini sewing station on my craft counter.

SMALL but holds the basics for a quick fix.

Very small. about size of child shoe box. BUT for me, perfect. I am not a person who sews, but I need to stich up something here & there, so I needed a SMALL box to hold a few SMALL thread rolls, and extras. This fits the bill. Needles, threads, small pin cushion, small scissors. I would say, placed properly you can have about 20 small threads in this? Not sure haven't fully organized it. Love this.

Great Sewing basket for beginners

This was a gift for my granddaughter, a new sewer. It arrived as expected with Prime shipping. She even told me it was perfect timing as she discovered a clothing item that needed mending just as the mailman delivered the sewing basket with the extra sewing items already in the basket. She didn't have to go to the store to fill it up! The mending was done immediately. She is very happy with the basket. Feels it is very well made and the perfect size--for her. As she gets more experienced in sewing, she made need a larger basket, but for now, this works perfectly for her. Recommend this box for any new or only occasional sewers who need some stuff, but not all the stuff & gadgets others who sew all the time may need.

Cute and Effective

One of the reviewers made me nervous, saying the magnet wasn't very strong(I'm a clumsy person who knocks stuff over all the time), but it seems just fine to me. That was the only reason why I was hesitant about buying it. Everything else seemed top notch and I definitely wasn't wrong.
