Excellent tone, easy to play, beautiful finish.

I've been playing bass for 25 years... and somehow I missed that this was a thing. This has very very quickly become my favorite instrument. It's a breeze to play, and the small size belies its astounding sound. I'm sure that a lot of other bass players have different opinions, but this wins for me for the following reasons: - Strings are REALLY easy on the fingers and easy to play - Extremely high quality for the price - the flagship U-bass is significantly less than many mid-range basses - Upright bass sound without the upright bass - Still amps well and can get surprising crunch out of it if you want - Lightweight, and did I mention impossibly small? - Extremely fun to play The only real negative is that the strings take a bit more break-in to really hold their tone. This has singlehandedly rejuvenated the world of bass for me, and has brought back a lot of fun to it. Every bass player should at least pick one of these up and play it if they have the chance.... You will likely be sold on it very quickly.

Great instrument. It is beautiful, well made and fun to play.

Beautifully constructed. Sounds amazing. Plug it in and be amazed!

I own a upright bass and this u-bass does a fantastic job, punch and very reliable and easy to play. Though it will never replace a upright bass but definetly can be use in a band.
