100x better than the original Medela parts

The original Medela parts that came with our Pump in Style Advanced were garbage. Milk leaked out of the bottles through the threads due to the placement of some venting holes, and it backflowed out of the flanges. Neither of these were insignificant leaks, and at least the vent hole leak was due to the product’s design. These replacement parts are made differently. Their vent holes are on top, so there’s no chance milk can hit them and leak through. The flanges — because they are one piece instead of interchangeable — are shorter so you’re better able to sit in a less uncomfortable position. And, although the flanges are the same size (27mm in our case), we aren’t getting any backflow leakage. That’s kind of an anatomical thing so I’m not considering that in the review, but the rest of the differences are more than enough for me to say BUY THIS IMMEDIATELY AND THROW OUT THE MEDELA FLANGES.

Perfect fit, affordable price

The package arrived on time and in tact with all the listed parts included, and the parts perfectly fit my Medela Pump in Style breast pump. I find these parts are very affordable and make it easy for me to replace the pump parts every few months, and to have extras on hand to keep at work. I will definitely be ordering more in the future. I have included a photo of the purchased parts: 2 breast shields, 4 valves, 8 membranes, and 2 tubes.

Excellent product for the price

These work great. Exactly the same as my medela set for a lot less money. The flanges are all one piece. A little more difficult to get into the small spaces but they're nice for if you pump at work because they don't come apart and fall on the filthy floor. Will definitely recommend these to other moms.

Great product!

Yay for a proper fit! I was able to pump more, and more comfortably, using these shields, and I really appreciated the time saved by cleaning one piece instead of two (shield + part that attaches to bottle). I also bought the NeneSupply duckbill valves, thus saving ANOTHER part to clean (instead of valve + membrane). As far as I can tell, these parts work as well as original Medela parts (well, better, if you factor in the fact that Medela doesn't even SELL this size). * I have not yet used the tubing.

Better than the brand name and a fraction of the ...

Better than the brand name and a fraction of the cost, and includes all you need PLUS extras! Also, the phalange is one piece, and they sealed off that area on the brandname that played no part just collected milk and got gross/bacterial risk. By making it one piece with one open tunnel for milk, you can literally access all areas directly for washing. Game changer from a sanitary standpoint Also for whatever reason, this drains better than my brand name. Will buy more for work.

Love these parts, fit better than the original

I purchased this product after noticing a kink in my tubing. I originally ordered the medium shield, which was the same size I have been using for the past five months. This is the standard size that comes with the pump. I had noticed it had been slipping and lost suction. I thought that perhaps it was the tubing. I was surprised to look at the fit guide provided with the package. I noticed that it was not a good fit, and I needed to get a smaller size. They worked with me, and the product was very easy to return. I got the smaller shield size and it fit much better. The suction is much stronger, I had to turn down the power on the pump! I am very happy with this product, there are plenty of replacement parts to last a while (I only pump twice daily). They seem to be of the same quality as the original pump parts. One notable difference is that the shield is one piece, where as the original comes in two pieces. Third photo (black background) shows original parts on the top and these parts on the bottom part of the photo. I also enjoyed the informational packet that came with this product. I will be buying again when I need replacements.

To my relief the parts were perfect and work just as well with my pump in ...

I purchased this because my dog ate part of my breast pump (cliche I know, but she really did lol). As I was checking out I realized it said "not a medela part." I almost didn't purchase it because of this, however, it was significantly cheaper than other replacement parts so I thought it'd give it a try. To my relief the parts were perfect and work just as well with my pump in style pump. I would recommend this product as a cheaper alternative to purchasing the medela parts!

I have been using these for almost 3 months now, I haven't had an issue. I use the Medela In Style pump, I actually have 2, one from each pregnancy. While I do prefer the new design from medela, I haven't had an issue with these. Thankfully the hands free bustier I have at home allows me to fit the flanges through the holes (my one at work would not have worked for these). For everyone complaining about them being one piece and not two or that it won't work for their bustier, they should've read the description, it clearly states these things. I haven't really had an issue cleaning them either , it's no harder than the 2 piece ones I have. All in all I think they work great!

Don't be scared to try a smaller size if the standard 24mm shield slides around or loses suction.

I have been exclusively pumping for 3 months and the 24mm size would slip off or loose suction or need to be readjusted multiple times per session but I was still getting milk so I accepted it. I got the 21mm size and finally my nipple looks like the diagram they give you its only been like 10 pumping sessions with the 21mm but i haven't needed to readjust and the suction stays consistent. My only complaint is that the tubing that came with this box did not fit my Medela Pump In Style Advanced, the plastic part fit on the pump but the plain side didn't sit snugly on the breast shield (I tried doing it the other way too but that didn't seal properly either) so I just used my old tubing that has the plastic piece on both ends.

Get this over the medela version!!

So glad i purchased this complete set instead of the Medela brand version. I've been pumping for 3 years using the Medela PISA pump. I've only bought the Medela parts in the past. This is JUST AS GOOD and WAY more affordable. I just needed new tubes. This entire set cost the same amount as the tubing alone for the Medela brand product, so I figured I would try it and I'm glad I did! Everything fits great. It's important to put on new white valves every 3-4 pumps so that your pump is still effectively pumping. I noticed a difference immediately! Cleaning: Just like cleaning the medela products. No easier, but that's expected. I wanted the same thing, not a new design. Durability: The whole set seems to be stronger and more sturdy than the Medela products. The tubing is solid and not as flimsy as the Medela one. Everything fits correctly! Overall: So pleased with this buy. Never buying the Medela products again. This set is the way to go.
