Well made at an amazing price!
I tend to be a manfrotto fan-boy, having used their monopods and tripods since i was given one back in '06 that was heavy and sturdy enough to be used as a weapon. So when i seen that this was so cheap and niche yet was a manfrotto product, i was ready to have finally found a cheaply made, disappointing Manfrotto product, but was intrigued enough to give it a shot. It took a few days to finally get out and use it, the intention being that i would pair it with my newly-bought mirrorless Canon M5 while hiking and wandering, so i could leave the 6D and larger Tripods at home. Flawless. It holds the weight well, is very easy to adjust, and is more sturdy than the size and weight would lead you to believe. No flex. It was able to hold the M5 and nifty50 i had on it, so i went home and tried the 6D with 24-105, and the weight was fine on it. 7D with 70-300? no problem. Just make sure you have a leg forward under longer lenses for the sake of rules-of-gravity... Obvious in retrospect. If you are looking for a tabletop/travel/low-angle/walk-around tripod or hand mount, here's the top pick for me. Works great as a video handle or short selfie handle too, by-the-by.

This is version one. Go for this one. Don't bite the bait of the version 2
This little gizmo is as good as its descendant - the version 2 is bad. Do yourself a favor, avoid the "extensible legs and other bells and whistles" version and get this one. It is just the right size to fit pretty much everywhere, just tight enough to hold pretty much anything, and is SOLID as opposed to the version 2 which rattles and flexes like a drunk dancer's skeleton and is about two inches longer when folded. Those two inches that always make the difference (in this case - in a bad way :-P )

Super tripod
Looked into a lot of these mini tripods on youtube. I saw a lot of content creators using this one. Like iJustine. So I got one. Boy it is great. Made well and easy to use. I took it on vacation to the beach and used it a lot. Great for time lapse of the Sun setting. Also good for holding iPhone for watching videos.

Steady and Quickly Adjustable
I'm using this with the Manfroto cellphone holder, and it works great. I honestly didn't quite understand how it functioned when I purchased it, but having seen others using them in vlogs etc., figured it be worth a try. Basically, you press in the button with the Manfroto logo to release a ball swivel allowing you to move the head and whatever you have screwed on it to the angle you want; release the button and it holds that angle. It's super fast to adjust in this respect. As for the legs, though, you either have them all the way out or you... hope it holds. Yes, you can move legs in or out independently, but if what you have mounted is of a more significant weight, it will push the legs out to their fully extended placement; there is no real way to have a couple legs in and one out and have it for-sure hold that spot. I set it on a flat surface 99% of the time, so having its legs fully extended works out great. The way the legs fold in so you can hold them together in your hand is nice, and this also makes for better packing. Being 7 inches tall and two inches thick when folded in means it can travel pretty easy. I think if I lost it, I'd probably get it again. I own a couple Joby Gorrilla tripods, and while their flexibility and versatility is awesome, at some point they just don't want to stand up. They fail, eventually, every time. This Manfroto gives up some versatility, but it is never going to have its legs fail like a Joby. If you need a steady and quickly adjustable tripod that doesn't need the versatility of leg angling, this does the job well.

Perfect for a small/lightweight travel kit!
I wanted to take a small photography kit with me on my global travels, and after a lot of research I decided to try this tripod on my trip to Ireland. It takes up about as much space in my kit as a small bottle of drinking water, so I used the water bottle pocket in my manpurse where it easily fit. I was able to get some fantastic long exposure shots that would have been impossible without a tripod, and yet I didn't want to lug a full size tripod with me. This was easily able to sturdily hold up my Fujifilm X-T2 as well as the Fujinon XF18-135mmF3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR lens. What a great value! I'd definitely take a good look at this lens for a lightweight and compact travel kit.

Excellent Sturdy Portable Countertop Tripod
Let me start but mentioning that there is another newer version of this tripod called the Pixi Mini Evo that cost twice as much but offers a lot of other features. The Pixi Mini Evo is a bit larger, has a twist screw compression for the ball head, a cut out for the camera to do portrait mode or face completely up or down, extending legs that also fold out flatter for far more versatility and standing options. This tripod, has a spring loaded button compression for the ball head, is much smaller than the Pixi Mini Evo, the legs do no extend and only fold out to one position, and to connect this to your camera you have to twist the tripod on. Although this tripod doesn't offer as much as the Pixi Mini Evo, it does offer fantastic portability, simplicity, and rock solid functionality. I have been on the fence on whether or not to buy this tripod until I saw one in an Apple Store and got to try it out a bit. The ball head adjustment button was surprisingly easy and sturdier than you could imagine it would be. It feels light weight but solid at the same time and it is just easy to carry around. I'm using this with a Sony A6300 and have used the PZ Sony G 18-105, Sony Zeiss 24, and the Canon 85 1.8 with the MC-11 lenses. I have to say I doubted the 2.2lb estimate and didn't think it would keep the A6300 sturdy with the reasonably large and heavy 18-105 but it did with flying colors. Once I release the button, the camera stops moving and is perfectly steady. It is really amazing how such a simple system can be so reliably sturdy. Of course using it with the other much lighter lenses works just fine as well and when I have my camera on the tripod I don't worry about it falling over as the legs are sturdy enough to keep it from tilting over. It also apparently works as a short seflie stick but that wasn't really my intent with it. I don't use camera grips and I didn't buy the A6300 for a selfie camera but it is nice that it can be used in this way. You can buy the Pixi Mini Evo for around $50 and I'm sure it is great, but I got this because I want something small that I can carry around effortlessly that works quickly and simply. Manfrotto didn't cut corners on this and it shows in quality materials and intelligent design elements. It is easy to carry in your bag or even your pocket and it is even easier to use when you need it. At $25 this tripod is easy to recommend and I will update my review should I find any more positives or faults with this. Also, I wanted to note that although I did test this tripod with the A6300 and 18-105, the pictures I posted are with the Zeiss 24 1.8.

Better Than Expected
After purchasing this and THEN reading some reviews here on the site and on Lifehacker where an article about it was posted, I was a bit disappointed. It didn't sound like it would it would even hold my DSLR which is my backup camera. I don't know what those people are putting on the end of their camera, but not only did this hold DSLR and a large 17-270 zoom lens, it holds my main Sony FS-100 with it's lens, shotgun mic and my wireless mic receiver. This has to be close to 9 lbs. It's sitting here next to me and I'm amazed that it's doing what it's doing. If you have a DSLR and are worried about this being able to support. DO NOT WORRY!

GREAT little tripod! Don't fall for the knock-offs!
If you're not familiar with the Manfrotto brand (I wasn't), this is the original version of this tripod. The dozens of similar tripods you've seen at half the price are cheap knock-offs. Unlike the copycats, this tripod features WEIGHTED legs. This provides the extra stability needed to prevent the tripod from dumping your equipment into dirt, and helps keep lightweight devices from being shifted around by the wind. The tripod is only weighted to hold 1 kilogram, but in use it will hold much more. The ball head adjustment mechanism is also more robust. Depressing a spring-loaded button allows you to effortlessly reposition the camera. The ball has tiny ribs all over it, which get tightly gripped and lock the mount down very solidly. I can't force it to move by hand if the button isn't depressed; my camera doesn't stand a chance of budging it. The knock-offs are not so well built, and you may or may not experience some slippage once you've lined up your shot. The design is fantastic. I purchased this tripod to use it for indoor macro photography, but I will end up using it for much more--possibly more often than my full-sized tripod. The legs swing out easily, but are held in place by friction. No clamps to fasten or unfasten, no slides, nothing. The mount, as mentioned, adjusts at the push of a button. You could realistically deploy the tripod and adjust the mount in two seconds flat. The whole thing packs down roughly to the size of a small Red Bull can, so it's easy to bring it along in a bag or pocket. This will see frequent use on car hoods, tables, roadsides, and my workbench. It is flat-out the best camera accessory for the money that I've purchased.

Perfect Table Top Tripod - Solid, Well Made and a perfect compliment to my photo bag.
Fantastic Table Top Tripod. Bought this for my Lumix Micro 4/3 System as well as my Lumix LX100. Typical Manfrotto quality construction. Ball head is easy to use and makes perfect adjustments. Not sure why so many reviewers stated that they felt it was too stiff. It needs to be a tight fit to hold your camera steady. I found no problems with making even minor angle adjustments, just push the logo button in fully and the ball head moves smoothly. The small compact design makes it perfect for travel photography and night and low light scenes. I also plan on using it for 4K Video of wildlife and wild birds in my area. This is a solid, steady tripod at a great price. It will always be in my camera bag.
