We love these in our house. My daughter loves the button and always closes the top so when its closed it doesn't spill. This isn't leakproof unless closed, just an fyi. I always thought the lid would be annoying but this is her cup of choice so we switched over to them for water bottles and she loves that she can use the handle on the kid to carry it. I like that they keep drinks cool for a longer time so I dont have to run to the fridge to put milk away if she stops drinking it. The image will come off eventually but all cups will wear eventually. To address the fake comments, I too was concerned as the one we bought on Amazon had an opaque straw, not clear. I also read about an imprint on the tread meaning it was authentic. I compared to one I bought at target and noticed that did not have the imprint, and I knew that was authentic. I then contacted thermos because if it was a fake I wouldn't let my daughter drink it, and they confirmed that this is from them and authentic (I sent the amazon link) and that they make opaque and clear straw tops. So, if in doubt contact thermos directly.

It keeps water cold all day and doesn't leak...what more can I say?! When I first got these I filled them up and tested for leaking. When the lid was closed and I laid it on its side there was water in the top when I opened it. I was bummed. Looked like the water was leaking out of the vent for the straw. Then I noticed a little knobby thing (yup that's the technical term) on the lid that clearly was supposed to plug that hole when the lid closed. After checking it out more I realized when i put the straw in, the part you sip on, I didn't get it all the way up. So you push it in from the underside, but after you do that, grab the part you sip on and give it a tug. It will come up through the lid just a little bit more. Then I closed the lid and it hasn't leaked since. I think anyone else with reviews saying it leaks probably hasn't figured this out. And whoever uploaded the video of it leaking, aka pouring out of the straw when the lid isn't closed...ah duh lady. Straws don't seal themselves. Of course tipping it upside down will make the water pour out. Come on. It comes in a ton of different options and my kids love them! Also, they're not that heavy. Some people make it seem like their kid cant lift these, my 2 yr old daughter carries hers all day wherever she goes.

This is an awesome thermos. My daughter is 5 and i use them for her lunch bag. I add milk or juice and let it chill overnight in the fridge. Put it into her lunch bag next morning and good to go all day!! Stays super cold and easy for her to operate. 100% leak proof. I saw somebody say mold issues? None here...i think maybe they just don't take time to clean it properly. It's super easy to dissasemble and put back together. I ordered a few replacement straws just in case but have not had to use them yet. So far so good and it's great!! Perfect size for a small pre k lunch bag or a trip to the park etc...

I bought the hello kitty option for my kindergartener and it's awesome! Not only is it cute, it's super easy to clean since all the pieces come apart effortlessly. The inside of the lid has the model # engraved which is very convenient when it comes time to order a replacement straw. It keeps drinks cold and doesn't sweat, plus it doesnt leak when closed. I did open the lid and turned it upside to see if itll leak if it dropped while being open and it did leak. Overall, this is a great thermos at a great price.

Over the past two years I have fallen in love with this cup! The blue Thermos Funtainer cup (see image) was purchased 2 years ago for our then – kindergartner and has now been used daily through two years of school. Although a little scratched on the outside, it still works perfectly. A year and a half ago we added the pink one for our daughter to travel with, and she now uses it at home daily. The purple and teal cups were added half a year ago for our other two daughters, who also use them daily. The lime green one was just purchased and will be used for our newest addition when he is old enough. I only wish they sold these in more solid colors!!! These cups are great for every day use. We use them at home in order to cut down on the number of plastic cups sitting on the counter. With there being so many design options, it is easy for each child to know which cup is theirs. A little tip: I have read one review that talked about mildew under the lid. I have never had a problem with that even after one was lost for about a month, with water still in it. We do wash the cups almost daily. Removing the rubber straw insert when washing and letting it dry completely has no doubt helped these cups to stay mildew free. The rubber straw insert can be a little bit stubborn to remove. I've learned that if you leave the plastic straw in the rubber part and, with a wet washcloth in hand, grip where the two straws meet and pull, it makes the rubber insert much easier to remove. Just a little tip. If you were considering a new cup for your child, I could not give any higher of a recommendation. Maybe I'm a little obsessed, but I LOVE THESE CUPS!

It has taken me months to find the perfect water bottle for my kids. I started with Zak, which my kids picked out. The rubber piece can't be fully removed, which means mold will be a problem. Also, my kids drag their water bottles through the mud and dirt and I need to be able to fully disassemble them for thorough cleaning. Not to mention that Zak bottles leak EVERYWHERE. Nonstop. All the time. Next we tried Contigo. I was certain Contigo would be my favorite, but they require a brush for thorough cleaning to prevent mold/dirt accumulating in nooks and crevices. Call me lazy, but I didn't want to mess around with a brush. Then we found Thermos. This is the holy grail of water bottles. Each piece comes out and can be washed in the dishwasher. There are zero hard-to-reach spots that require a brush or could hide dirt/mold. Most importantly, each portion of the bottle can be dried thoroughly to prevent mold. They don't leak if the cap is closed, but they will if your kid tips it upside down while the cap is open. Not a big deal. Overall, I LOVE these water bottles!

Great quality. I thought this was gonna be cheesy & cheap looking but I was totally wrong. Paw Patrol print looks pretty sharp and good, plastic, latch, and the rest of the parts are solid. Tried to shake, roll and put them upside down.. so far no leaks. That’s good although I didn’t really look for a totally leak proof. Don’t let the negative reviews sway you, this thing is 10/10. My Paw Patrol 2 yo fanboy always gets excited to drink water from it.

Great functional bottle. For anyone who is wondering, it is BPA free. I almost returned mine because there was no bpa-free label on it and it is very important to me. I decided to call the company and they confirmed that all their products are bpa free. It’s also stated on their website. “Bisphenol A (BPA) is a controversial chemical that can be found in the lining of food cans, certain water bottles and more. Some researchers have linked the hormone-mimicking chemical to a host of issues including behavioral and developmental effects in kids. Thermos plays it safe, and has made a commitment to only manufacture products that are BPA-free.“ -Thermos

I have had sooo many different drinking vessels over the course of 8 years and 3 kids...and I think I've finally found a keeper. It took me awhile to try these because I had originally sworn off anything with a straw (which are only slightly less evil than valves), but I find these pretty easy to swipe with some hot soapy water and a straw brush and feel good about how clean they've gotten. They meet my criteria of being leak proof, easy to clean, and stainless, and manage to do it for a reasonable price compared to other stainless bottles I'd tried. I really like these funtainers...and my 18 month old, who has never actually watched Paw Patrol but somehow still loves it, always requests his "Puh Puh-Puh" for "wa wa" :)

LOVE this cup!! My son is going into second grade with this cup and I bought it for him before he began kindergarten!! It’s still in perfect condition!! It goes to school with him every single day in his lunch box. It doesn’t leak! I have never put anything but water in it and I clean it every day. I just bought a second one for my younger son who is starting kindergarten in August. I have only bought the solid colors and the color has not chipped or rubbed off at all. I do not put these in the dishwasher. I have heard that the ones with characters on them scratch off and chip up, but I don’t have first hand experience with that. I stick with the solid colors to keep it simple and so they won’t grow out of the character year after year.
