It’s a bit heavier than the other griddle pans ive had. Much easier to cook on without burning things. The nonstick surface is just that. It cleans up easily. I threw out two other ceramic griddle pans, this works better!

heavy duty pan, sturdy and love it. Don't use metal utensils on it or will scratch like any other pan, but this is special. Will last a long time.

This griddle arrived in a timely manner. The previous Calphalon griddle I had was purchased in 2007. Usually I'm the only one that uses it. I've learned that it is best to heated up slowly on medium heat and never use on high heat (I have an electric stove). Also, NEVER wash it when it is still hot, set it aside and let it cool down and then wash it with a soft side of a sponge only. If food gets stuck run cold water on it, then wipe with a sponge. And the handle does not get hot when it is on the stove. I love this griddle!

I've been using it for 6 months now and have remained very pleased with it. I'm so glad I gave up on the handles that always come loose on the other brands like Wearever and which I always seemed to be tightening the screw/bolthead. This griddle is heavyweight and cooks very evenly. I'm having a hard time getting over my habit of doing only 3 pancakes at a time which I developed due to the unevenness of those other griddles. That riveted handle really feels solid, it ain't gonna start wiggling on you. The only downsides to it are that it indeed is somewhat heavier to lift then the other "lightweight" brands and the handle makes it seem a lot bigger when you store it away. Nevertheless it's probably one of the best kitchen items I've ever purchased. My only regret is having waited so long before buying it.

Great nonstick pan for grilled cheese, pancakes, french toast, ok for crepes, even hot dogs roll with ease on this one. Love the quality and the ease of washing. I would buy this again.

Wife was very leery of replacing old skillet that no longer cleaned well. After using she seems happy.

This pan is quality. It has a flat and true bottom and cooking surface. We have used it for bacon, pancakes, hash browns, etc. and with just a little coconut oil or olive oil it releases food easily. It truly transfers heat well. The only question I had is why it took me so long to learn of this quality pan and to buy it!

My wife swears by this pan. She uses all the time for tortillas, quesadillas, tortas, etc. Basically anything related to Mexican food and she busts this bad boy out. It hasn't faltered yet. I'm really surprised at how durable it is. I know this because she cooks...I clean. Anyways, the food was good. I'm surprised she hasn't ordered more of these Calphalon pans yet.

I recently bought a cheaper T-Fal griddle at Walmart, that claimed to have "even" heat, with "special circular ridges" on the bottom. Whatever! If I cooked pancakes on it, I had to turn each of them half a turn on each side, just to have no raw batter left on the edges! I donated it to Goodwill, maybe somebody else won't be so picky. This Calphalon griddle, by contrast, really does spread the heat around, even on my gas range. It's also very easy to clean, and sturdy. It was definitely worth the extra money.

This is a well made pan. I had two similar units before, and both warped easily. Not this one! We've had it a while now and it is still perfectly flat, due to its more heavy duty construction. The non-stick coating is also excellent, wipe down with a paper towel and it's nearly perfectly clean. Perfect for pancakes!
