Boxes this large are too cumbersome for delivery a d a waste of space in delivery vehicles.

I pay the same on Amazon that I would pay in Petco or anywhere else for this dog food. But it is worth every penny because lugging around 40 pounds of dog food is not an easy task. I love that I could just go on and order with ease and in 2 days it will be at my front door. It doesn’t get any more convenient than that. I have tried a lot of the Purina foods and this particular brand is loaded with chunks of meat. They love it.

I have four dogs, a Labradoodle and 3 Shepherddoodles: their coats look amazing and their skin outstanding, even in this cold dry Winter air. I had been using Call of the Wild (Wild Salmon) grain-free blend and was quite satisfied with its results. Reading about Purina ONE SmartBlend True Instinct and reviewing its listed ingredients, I thought I would see if there was any improvement over my dog's current food. I have now been feeding my dogs Purina ONE SmartBlend for 2 1/2 months and am amazed at the improvements in my dog's coats and skin! My dogs look incredible! They are in show-quality condition and love their new food immensely. I could not be more satisfied with the results! Highly recommended.

We were looking for a decent dog food that wouldn't break the bank for our pure bread Akita and our husky mix. The Akita will eat anything and lots of it but the husky mix is very finicky. This is the first food that the husky mix will actually eat w/o any coaxing. This food has a rich, meaty smell and both our dogs love it.

Our 4 dogs LOVE this dog food. We were buying some other high end foods, Purina Beyond with salmon, and they won't eat it without chicken broth being poured over the food. We have gone through other brands also with the same effect. But this one, they start to eat as soon as it is poured in the bowl. None of the dogs has thrown up or gotten sick from it. Purina One carries a good name and the food is from the US. This one is also ok with our vet. We try to do our homework on ingredients and sourcing and company history/reputation. This one is a winner for our 4 dogs, big and little.

We used to get the generic dog food from Target until our dog (border collie/lab mix) started experiencing bloody stools, vomiting, and massive amounts of diarrhea. Our vet diagnosed him with pancreatitis, which he said is common with cheap dog food. He recommended a dog food without dye, which this doesn't have. Our dog ate like a bird before we got this brand; now, he loves eating his food. His coat looks healthier, he has more energy, and we haven't had any problems with diarrhea or vomiting since switching him to this.

When people see my just turned 4, 152 lb Great Pyrenees male, after asking what kind of dog, weight, height, etc. There almost always is a comment about the quantity of food he must eat and are shocked or think I'm lying when I reply, not really or not that much. Those of you who know or have one know that they are not usually heavy eaters. My spoiled brat will go through this bag in about a month. However, Don't feed him this brand and he'll turn up his nose at it and those of you who have one or have had, know having a battle of Will's with a Great Pyrenees is a losing proposition, he'll hold out until he's liable to damage himself. I could never be as loyal to him as he is to me and my family, so he gets the food he wants.

My dogs eat it. But...they would eat a light bulb if it was wrapped in lunch meat so that doesn't say much. My main reason for buying this food is because I can usually buy it for a dollar a pound and a it's a relatively decent dog food..if you know what I mean..it's not Ol' Roy. Amazon likes to jack the price up real high sometimes and then I just go look for another dog food and I will come back to this one when the price gets low again. I've learned to buy a couple of bags when the price is good.

We got a lab mix "pound puppy." It turned out that she has a "sensitive stomach" a/k/a stinky gas! We were told by the vet to buy a better dog food, and we tried many of the higher priced ones that were 100% grain free, organic, etc. We found that she simply preferred Purina One. We tried all the varieties before finally settling on the Turkey and Venison. The others varieties still gave her gas, but since she has been eating the Turkey and Venison Purina One, she has been essentially gas-free. The kibble is small and thin enough that our old dachshund with bad teeth can eat it too. Highly recommend you give it a try!

I am a vet tech and always fed science diet. A few years ago I met a friend that had three Labradors, age 14, 15, and 17. All had been eating this food for years. I decided to give it a try and my dogs loved it and the severe gas they had been experiencing on other foods was gone. I love that if I need a last minute refill I can just grab a small bag at the grocery store to hold us over.
