I bought this along with black beads to make a minecraft creeper Keychain for my son. They worked great. I really liked the striped beads. Just be careful not to accidently spill the beads because it will take forever to separate the colors (we learned the hard way).

Great Selection of Perler Beads at a Great Price

Lots of beads and such a great price for kid's crafts! We made bowls in the oven with these little beauts.

Favorite Perler Beads

Great value and excellent colors. These are my favorite perler beads so far. The stripes look really cool when you iron the design. We had a huge craft party with a bunch of girls at our house, and I had no idea that they would end up spending hours with the perler beads. I think we went through most of this kit in one night. You'll need to buy perler boards separately. And, you can just give up on trying to separate all those tiny beads into their own cozy color compartment. They all start out organized, but eventually - the colors mingle and mix. Embrace the chaos and let your OCD go on this one. (The black and white striped bead is my absolute favorite!)

Just what expected. Couldn’t tell from photo but the plain colored ones are shinny and I 5 year old loves them.
