I was reading the reviews and although they were ok not the greatest, especialy a couple of people that said their skin blistered. The reason I am saying this is because a couple of weeks ago I orderd some Vicks inhalers. In fact a dozen because the cost was so low. I used it the first day and all seemed well. The next day my nose was bleeding all over the place. I came so close to going to my dr. I found out that it was made in China or one of the Asian countries, and I vowed it would never happen again. WELL THIS STUFF IS GREAT. I have exczema and it felt so nice slathering this all over my dryed out skin. So I guess the moral is go with your gut and if you get burned sometimes, so what--its life.

This is, hands down, my favorite body lotion of all time, and also my favorite out of the Nivea line. I have tried many body lotions over the years and the natural state of my skin craves serious moisture. I'm so glad to have found this product as it is perfect for me: seriously moisturizing, my skin just drinks it up, and the moisturizing properties last all day. Some lotions feel like they sit politely (yet greasily) on top of your skin, or they sink in but don't seem to really nourish the skin. Not Nivea Essentially Enriched --- it goes on smooth & creamy, not greasy, giving your skin a lovely, subtle, dewy sheen. It sinks in quickly & deeply to provide incomparable moisture and it feels super nourishing. It has a pleasant herbal/floral --- dare I say uni-sex --- scent that isn't overly sweet, cloying, or lingering. Hubby loves it too for dry hands and elbows and for after shaving. In short, it just works, on all counts and is the go-to lotion for our household. We have a bottle on every bathroom counter and at the kitchen sink. I also appreciate that it's paraban-free. A +++, Nivea, and the price point here on Amazon can't be beat.

I use this in combination with the Nivea body wash and I'd recommend both. I've got skin issues and the Nivea brand works better for me than any other. I do though have a couple of tips while using this lotion. First, when I use this I wet my hands. I do because it is very thick and doesn't want to spread easily. It will also absorb much more quickly this way. Even more, you won't need to use as much (but you won't sacrifice the moisture it provides, thus the softness of your skin). Secondly, I can't stress enough that it works great together with the same brand body wash. With it, your skin comes out of the shower already feeling softened. The plus side of both products is that they're much more inexpensive than other brands. Now...I do have to just add one other side note, because it might sway your decision. The smell is slightly like baby powder, although it isn't over-powering. *the body wash doesn't smell the same. It's more of just a fresh smell, so the two of them together kinda blend and it smells ok...but not like fresh baby powder ;) The smell does dissipate quite quickly so you won't over-stimulate the noses of others in your life. I hope this helps! (I always check the reviews of others before I buy anything here on Amazon.)

I didn’t expect the lotion to be so thick. It’s wonderful! It goes on easily and it doesn’t take long for it to disappear onto your skin. It’s not oily and gets rid of the roughness on my feet. I bought it specifically for my feet. To me a little goes a long way. Within minutes you feel the softness of moisturized skin. I’m definitely buying more!

If you have psoriasis or eczema you may be using this already. I first used this went I loved in Alaska and had dry, cracked skin. If you don't have dry skin, this may be too oily for you. For me, it's great! I use this daily and can't complain. I also have extremely dry skin. It does moisturize your skin thoroughly and the longer you use it, the better the results.

Got this for my mom, who HATES "sticky" lotion. She has dry skin and this moisturizes really well, without leaving behind that tacky feeling. Smells pleasant and fresh too.

I've been using Nivea since I was kid. My mom used it all the time, never have I had a product work so well and stay the same for so many years. Highly recommend this after shaving. I use it on my head and face. Feels good getting carded at 47 ;-)

In my opinion, the best moisturizer on the market. I have used this product for more years than I care to admit, more than 40. I have been complimented on my soft skin as long as I have used Nivea. It is an everyday thing for me, after I shower, I apply over wet skin in the summer, dry skin in the winter. I would apply over wet skin year round, but, it is a bit chilly to do during the cold months. I use only Essentially Enriched lotion, and, occasionally I apply the crème.

I'm staying in the desert for a while, and my skin is literally getting tanned out here. I'd ran out of lotion after getting here and immediately noticed how bad my skin was looking. I use this daily to keep from looking like someone tossed baking soda all over my skin.

This is the only lotion I can use after shaving my VERY sensitive legs. I searched low and high, trying every expensive lotion, before finding this life saver. It's alcohol free, again very difficult to find, and doesn't leave my legs feeling greasy. It's saved my skin!
