Better than expected

I'm very happy with this purchase. The quality of this bag went beyond my expectations considering the inexpensive price. I think I may have the newer version of the straps than some have complained about in reviews because the straps on the one I received feel solid and I doubt will ever rip. I don't transport my laptop however. Just a tablet and lots of other miscellaneous items/files. The one I received is definitely lighter than shown in the majority of the pictures although there is a note saying how this is possible with the type of leather. The color is closer to the very first picture shown in the product description section (the picture with the bag on the ground and plants blurred out in the background). I actually like the lighter color I received more than the darker one picture anyway. My only complaint is that the rear zipper pocket does not hold 8 1/2 x 11" papers without folding them. They will fit in there but the papers will curl and rip when trying to zipper it. The realistic dimensions of that zipper pocket is probably closer to 8 x 11". Not a huge problem since there's plenty of space inside the bag. As for the other negative reviews you may see on here, the company does specifically state that color transference is possible and that a strong smell exists with initial use of the bag. This is not hidden and clearly stated on the tag that is attached to the bag. They also give instructions on how to minimize the color transference on the tag as well. It takes less than 5 minutes to do it. I followed those instructions and if I am wearing lighter clothing I am more aware of it rubbing against me. I have not had any color transference problems. The smell did persist longer than it stated but I also did not have it in a well ventilated area. I don't blame the manufacturers for that. If your on the edge of deciding just purchase it. Read the tag on the bag. Follow the instructions. Enjoy your awesome bag :)

Do not hesitate to purchase. Handsome and well-made bag my children will someday want. Price: Fantastic value for the price in comparison to other bags I looked at. You could easily spend $400 -$500 and not get as nice of a bag. Shipping: Speed far exceeded my expectations! I ordered on March 24th, and it arrived on March 30th (beating estimated arrival was Estimated Delivery Date: May 5, 2015 by over month) Leather: Full grain top quality leather was used – Beautiful, durable and surprisingly soft. The leather will scratch and scrape – If you have OCD about things staying “perfect looking” this bag is not for you. I can’t stand a scratch on my car, but I look forward to the bag looking seasoned and unique. Construction: I expected some kind of "gotcha", as the bag for the price seemed to be too good to be true. The stitching is masterful; the bag was not thrown together. Zippers and clasps are functional and great quality. Verdict: I was nervous about making the purchase, and the prospect of returning the item back to Hong Kong if I did not like it. As I love the item, I will never have to ship it back. I could not be happier with the entire purchase.

Top Notch Quality and No Staining!

Wonderful bag. I use it for school and work and receive a lot of compliments about this bag. I have had zero staining issues as discussed in other reviews. The heavy brass clasps have been flawless. Some products you buy arrive either looking different or performing different than expect. That is not the case here other than the fact that the leather is s solid tone and not a two tone as pictured. You will not be disappointed by this bag.

I think this bag is amazing! The leather is thick, yet supple. The bag also stands on its own when full. I have a laptop, legal leather binder, notepad, couple of files, copy paper for printer (roughly 35 sheets), medium size stapler, my Samsung tablet, wireless earbuds, corded earbuds, business cards, phone charger, tablet charger, laptop charger, mouse, my computer glasses (old guy specs) and some pens. Theres plenty of room for other stuff as well, 2 zippered pockets I've yet to fillI also have put my canon iP110 wireless printer and cords in it but prefer the printer in it's own case. The buckles and handles are top notch and a heavy brass very solid and definitely seem as though they will stand the test of time and weight! I would give this bag a 6+ ☆'s but I was a bit disappointed by the zippers upon receiving the bag, I thought they were a brass colored tinny cheap zipper, boy was I wrong.... they were just shiny new brass ones and are breaking in to be as nice as the rest of the bag! I work in the oilfield and this bag will get tested. I've never written a review for anything but I thought this bag and company were worth it. They even delivered on Sunday! When you read reviews they seem to never answer what you really wanna know. The only negative I can find is that its heavy on it's own before I loaded it up. But honestly if you buy a quality solid leather bag it's going to be heavy..... dumb a*@.!! I love the easy access to all my stuff.

I just received this as a birthday present, and I have to say, on first glance, the quality of the leather work is great and the general craftsmanship of the bag is fantastic. When it comes to quality leather working, these guys know their stuff. I am genuinely excited about this bag. My only concerns are minimal, not even worth reducing it to four stars, but might still be of concern to others and possibly myself in the future, so I'll list them here. Mostly, they have to do with the shoulder strap hardware, as I noticed the rotating clip portion creates an awkward twist when not adjusted properly, and I can see that putting a little strain on the clip and the bag's attachment over time, creating a point of failure. Other than that very small concern, this is by far one of the nicest bags I've seen, and at a very reasonable price.

The Perfect Messenger Bag

This was a great purchase. This messenger bag looks fabulous and holds everything I need to carry- laptop, 10.5" iPad, chargers, 2 smart phones, mouse, 4-5 folders, legal pad, plus a lot of tech accessories and personal items. I particularly like the zippered sections as I know my papers or items are secure. It appears to be very well-made, but time will tell how it holds up. There were some complaints about color rubbing off on clothing. When I received it, I wiped the bag down with a clean soft cloth and removed a very light amount of dye. No problem since. Prior to purchasing this bag, I ordered one made from goat skin listed on Amazon. I knew it would never hold up and I returned it immediately. This bag has heft, strength, and looks very very good. I highly recommend it.

Real leather, durable bag.

Have been using the bag for about two weeks now, like the feel and construction. Real, thick cut leather should last. Love the design, worth the money.

UPDATED: Nice bag but too expensive for it to start falling apart in less than 20 days

UPDATE---Nov 8, 2016 Kattee sent me a new version of their bag (new photos). They fixed the errors from the old version. They provided thicker D rings and better stitching. I've had the new version of the bag for about a month and a half. I am very satisfied. Pros 1. Beautiful bag 2. The leather is great quality. 3. Buckle straps are nice and convenient 4. Reinforced stitching 5. Company listens to customer complaints 6. Shoulder strap fixed --------------OLD Review--------- Pros 1. Beautiful bag 2. The leather is great quality. 3. Buckle straps are nice and convenient Cons 1. Strap is too long and ends up not allowing the padded part to be used. The padded part is essentially useless (LOOK AT PHOTOS). Without the padded part the the strap can cause your shoulder to get numb and sore. 2. Bad stitching on the strap hook. In less than a month this bag has started showing signs of bad stitching. The leather is getting deformed and it looks like if I do not do anything about it the leather will tear. (LOOK AT PHOTOS) 3. Way too expensive to start falling apart in less than 20 days.
