Very Stable
I had a head shot session coming up and needed a better way to connect my reflector that I was purchasing (was using a round one with a boom pole and clamps) and came across this clamp. Because the triangle reflector has 1/4 20 connector, this worked very well to securely hold it to the clamp. Once I had the reflector mounted, I was then able to clamp the whole thing to a light stand and rotate it accordingly. It stayed in place the whole time and I had no issues with it. Would definitely purchase again if the need arises.

Must Buy for Small Monitor Set Up!
I needed a way to mount and stand my 7-inch monitor for my desk that was not permanent. I noticed my monitor has a 1/4" female end so I wanted to give it a shot. (The monitor is a Loncevon 7-inch monitor (would recommend this as well especially for a college student wanting a duel monitor setup.)) I can say that this arm met my expectations! I was able to mount it to the ledge of my desk and it is extremely strudy once you get it into the optimal position. You can position this arm in so many ways because it has a ball and socket system that allows it to move in any and all directions. The clamp also has a wide range, so it can attach to almost any ledge. Some wider ledges I tried either wasn't possible, or I didn't feel confident it would hold. But for almost any normal desk ledge, it should work. Best arm mount I have tried, would definitely recommend if you want a cheap, small second-monitor set up.

Great Little Multi-Function Clamp Mount
I have mounted a Zoom H4N pro by using the double ball adapter and its 1/4" x 20 threaded screw. I noticed that the other part of the jaw had a pre-drilled and pre-tapped screw size of 3/8" x 16. I checked with Home Depot to see if they had any threaded rods in this size. They did have a 12 inch threaded rod in 3/8" x 16 size so I tested it out on the clamp hole and it threaded perfectly. Now, I use the threaded rod on the second hole on the other clamp arm to mount the shock mount for the NTG4+ mic and the deadcat filter. The Zoom H4N Pro, double ball adapter, threaded rod, shock mount, NTG4+ and the deadcat are all mounted to the clamp, which is in turn is mounted to a standard tripod. See photos of the setup. Several more of these clamps are on order to take some of the load off of this one clamp. Very impressed.

Amazing quality.
A worthy replacement for the legendary Rowi mic clamp. With adaptors, you can attach alsmost anything to anything else with this thing. It's truly a wonder. Also, the quality is superb. It looks like something that would be aircraft-grade. Precise machining, great finish, smooth operating screw and ball clamps. The only thing I can't understand is how on earth this thing ONLY costs $12. Honestly, for the level of quality this thing is manufactured to, it should be about $30-$45. $12 is literally a steal.

Where ithis clamp can be used is limited only by one's imagination.
A back injury of several decades ago has left me with impaired balance, so I use a 4-wheel walker outdoors. This clamp lets me use the walker like a dolly. With the articulated screen on my DSLR at a 45 to 90 degree angle, I can make sharp photographs without having to raise the camera to my face -- those of you with impaired balance understand exactly what I mean. And I can move the camera anywhere with reasonably smooth floors or paths. Now I am anxious to try it as a "steady-cam" for video. Time-lapse? Why not? This clamp is for anyone and everyone who wants flexibility and mobility in photographing without the inconvenience of a tripod. Where it can be used is limited only by one's imagination. Use common sense, though: The clamp is not designed for bigger camera or cameras with light bars, sliders, etc.

A very useful piece of gear....
This small 'utility' clamp will find many uses for photographers needing a lighter-weight way to attach a small camera, flash unit, etc. to a shaft or board. While this will not carry the same load that larger (and much heavier!) clamps can handle, it makes up for that by being compact enough to fit into most camera cases without creating much additional load ..! The fact that this device has both !/4-20 threading as well as 3/8-16 attachment holes means that it works well with nearly any mount that you might use. The ball head is fairly sturdy and is a good match for this clamp. Lastly, you can't beat the price..!

Another great product from SmallRig
You pay a little more, but everything I've purchased from SmallRig has been of higher quality than similar products offered by others. This Double Ball Head and Clamp is no exception. The materials are solid, molding or machining is first-class and both ends lock securely when the handle is tightened. I would be happier if the clamp opened as wide as two inches, but the approximately inch-and-a-half is good enough for most situations. Overall, a very sturdy piece of gear and one I'll purchase from SmallRig when the need arises. Jerry

It can be a challenge to get the camera fully snug
This little clamp based camera mount actually works well. At first I had trouble getting the camera to fit tight. My challenge was that I'm doing a top down video (looking at a piano keyboard from above) and the camera was balanced so that it would UNSCREW a tiny bit and end up pointing down at an angle. I had to attach the camera to the clamp and make sure it is locked in before putting it on the crossbar. It does stay put now, so just a challenge, not a problem. It feels well made and is really quite adaptable - the whole reason I bought it, of course. And it works.

Excellent Mount!
Excellent mount. I use it on the luggage rack and on the passenger footpeg of my motorcycle. The clamp grips tight, and the ball joints hold very well. I've been putting a selfie stick extended to about 4 feet with an Insta360 One camera on top to get a "flying camera" effect. (The camera automatically edits out its own mount.) This mount is tight and even with the odd weight distribution, there is no loss of hold, even on bumpy roads.

Used to mount a Trail Camera
I used this to mount a Trail Camera that I use to record visits by deer, fox, raccoons, wild turkeys, cats, opossums and other animals visiting our back yard and bird feeders. The camera is now mounting to the vertical portion of the railing on our upstairs deck. The mount is made of quality materials and very durable. The screw clamp that secures both balls in position holds them securely. The ball assembly is made of heavy duty hard plastic. The clamp assembly is all metal and is heavy duty and sturdy. The screw that connects the camera is the standard size used for cameras. The double balls allow the camera to be installed at any angle. Just what I need to position the trail camera, which is mounted 12 feet above ground level, so that it points directly at the target area.
