Absolutely an awesome shoe in almost every regard except for the shoe inserts which I pitch for the very best cloud walker orthotics due to a bad ankle and painful heels. Sadly they put far too much hot glue to glue their incerts down lately. A hair dryer to heat that glue up, and gentle but firm, careful tugging gets them out when brand new, but had to scrape out the extra glue afterwards! The extra wide size 12 are really flawless fitting after a short break in period, and the shoes look fantastic too. Higher quality than the other model Skecher I wear. These last longer before looking not so perfect than most shoes due to higher quality materials and really well put together. And the front toe area of this model Skecher has never separated even after fully wearing them completely out after many months (where the rubber is molded into the the front toe area) it always remained solidly attached on this model shoe! And that's battle tested after wearing out a few pair of these exact shoes already. In total, these shoes are awesome and the best value I have ever found in decades. Just be sure to save a couple of pair for myself every year!

It's a nice looking shoe but it fits too small. I returned it for a larger size and width, so hopefully the new pair will fit ok. ***UPDATE*** I got a replacement pair at a half size larger and an XW width instead of M width. They fit perfectly! I've always been leery of Skechers ever since they first came out in the 1990s and a friend of mine bought a pair. She said they were stiff and painful and always hurt her feet, but she was a slave to fashion so she wore them anyway. I'm glad I finally broke down and bought these, because I love the feel. The sole is quite thick, and the heel is higher than I'm used to in an athletic shoe, but that's something I can get used to. I definitely recommend these shoes.

Pay it forward! I bought these because I had a pair of Skechers in the past, I loved them immensely. One night, while at an outside bistro a few blocks from my house, a homeless person walked by and he had no shoes. Long story short, I ended up walking home shoe-less, so I had to order a new pair. These are even better then my original pair. They fit so nicely, and they make walking, standing, and just about anything else on two feet manageable for longer periods. The stitching seems to be durable, and done in a stylish, un-gaudy fashion. For those who say Skechers are for old people, ignorance is bliss, I guess. At least MY feet are comfortable.

I have wide feet that make it difficult for me to find sneakers, skates, dress shoes or any other footwear. I was reluctant to give up my 3 year old New Balance kicks that I used primarily for the gym but they were shot and 18 months overdue for replacement. I went to Dick's Sporting Good and they had one pair that fit but they cost $139 and I'm not paying that much money for gym shoes. So I turned to Amazon and used their well oiled search engine criteria to locate all the 4E shoes they had. My wish list was simple - wide enough to be comfortable out of the box, < $75, a dark color that won't look dirty in 6 months and 4+ star users ratings by more than 100 users. The locus of those criteria was these shoes. I've always liked Skechers casual shoes and figured I'd give these a try. These shoes came in at just over $40, almost $100 less than Dicks and I think it took less time for the Skechers to show up with Prime than it did for me to find the 17 year old kid working in Dick's shoe department. No wonder big box stores are dying - their customer service and sales staffs stink Pro - Wide enough to fit perfectly. These shoes do not run big and I might have expected a 4E to be just a but wider than I needed but they were ideal - Comfortable - wore them all day for two days with no issues, blisters, hot spots or discomfort - Solidly made sole that will hold up to elliptical, stationary bikes and treadmills - Decent style, like the dark colors - The laces are the right length. That might sound like nitpicking but my old New Balance shoes had laces that were two inches too long on each end and they kept getting untied and dragging on the ground which not ideal in the men's room. - $100 less than comparable shoes at Dick's Con - There seemed to be a hard spot under the ball of each foot when I first put them on that dissipated in a few hours. It didn't hurt, it was just hard. It worked itself out in the first day, These are solid casual, gym use shoes. They are too heavy for actual running but for machine use indoors where the extra weight adds to the workout. If you need superlight runners, be prepared to shell out north of a C- note. Hope that helps! Tretiak

These are incredible shoes. I wore New Balance for years until their quality went down the tubes. It took a while to settle on this brand, but I'm sure glad I did! The shoes fit well, are very comfortable, breathable, look great, and stay clean looking with almost no maintenance. I love the memory foam on the inside. It holds up well and feels good around the toes, especially when you first put them on. I wear these all day to work and put on probably 4-6 miles per day walking. The only problem is that the soles wear out in about six months. This seems to be true of virtually all athletic shoes in this price range (at least, that I've found), so just be aware. In any case, they are inexpensive enough to replace as needed. I hope Sketchers continues to make these shoes at the same level of quality, because they are my go-to shoe from now on. Update: My last pair lasted exactly on year and still look good, but I replaced them anyway just because I wanted a different color.

My husband goes through sneakers very quickly because he's on construction sites most of the day. He has very sensitive feet, that are usually in pain. These are the 1st sneakers he ever freaked out about the first time he put them on! He says they're the most comfortable AND supportive sneakers he's ever worn. Plus they're affordable. We'll never buy anything else!

I mentioned that these were "somewhat small" because my toes were almost right at the tip of the shoe when I first put them on. The shoes were plenty comfortable right off the bat so I thought it wouldn't matter, and it didn't. The memory foam is super thin but feels great. The shoes overall feel great. I work and play in them. I figured I would tear them up within a few months but, they look like they're going to take a licking and keep on ticking, if you know what I mean. They've held up really well under my rough treatment and believe me, I put my shoes through hellll. I've even thought about buying another pair just for going out in public, since I've already made these look like "work shoes". All in all, I really like these shoes and I would recommend them to anyone who wants a little comfort under their feet. You will feel the difference.

This is the second pair of Sketchers I bought. This pair in particular is kind of an upgrade in style than the other ones I bought 3 years ago. They fit perfectly on my feet and are comfortable. For me I have fallen arches (not flat), and I have to take extra care with shoes like these. Over time the padding wears out faster due to the pressure I exert as I walk, and my ankles tend to roll inward as I normally walk. That part is more the way my feet are not the shoes. I also learned that when you buy a shoe you really have to choose a pair that are designed for what you are doing. If you walk a lot daily then you need walking shoes which have a thicker sole (like these do). If you are a runner you need to get a thinner sole shoe. They are lighter in weight. Another thing is that you only need to go up a half size than what your foot actually measures. If your foot is 10" in length they you go up to a 10 1/2" (10.5"). As you walk your feet swell so you have a 1/2" buffer for that thing. I mention this because I went a full inch more than needed when I bought shoes in the past not knowing that was over kill. Finally my last pair of Sketcher lasted 3 years (did a lot of walking at my previous job), and I suspect I'll get about 4 or 5 years of use since I don't walk nearly as much at my current job.

This is my first pair of Skechers that I have been wearing for about 2 weeks and I am very happy with them. I brought them because of the high reviews they got and I am not the kind of person that buys walking shoes that much. All of my shoes have mostly general for every day wear not for comfort and long term wear. I was concern with buying walking shoes because of my arthritic feet, I was really happy at how comfortable they are and no problems what so ever. I definitely will be buying more pairs.

I started mall-walking on February 18, getting these Sketchers shortly after. They have been great. So far I have logged 700,000 steps in these shoes, or 326 miles. They are not wearing out the soles or breaking down in support. Every time I put them on I am thankful I decided on them with the hundreds of brands/styles out there. If I had paid $150 I would be satisfied, so imagine how happy I am after paying $40!
