YES! FINALLY!
ground flaxseed has changed my life. I've been suffering chronic constipation for 5 years and now that I'm putting a tea spoon of this in my smoothie/juice/whatever every day, I'm going once or even twice every day! It's unreal but flax has made my body feel so much better. I can't say enough about the benefits of flaxseed!

Flaxseed Gives Us Omega 3 in the Plant Form, Nutty Flavor, Great for Baking Recipes, Adding to Smoothies...
Where do I start? First, Flaxseed gives us Omega 3 in the plant form for those of us who do not ingest meat or fish. It has a sort of mild nutty flavor, Great for baking recipes, replacing eggs in a recipe, adding to smoothies, green juices, and yogurt, etc. But, for me, this supplement has done so much more than only give me what I've already listed. Please, allow me to explain. Constipation, yes, if you have ever dealt with it you know the joys of it.. Flaxseed, and this one in particular from Spectrum, has helped me for years by it's natural way of promoting regularity and adding healthy fiber to my diet. No man-made medicine here. It has many other health benefits as well. Google 'Flaxseed medicinal' to find more out if you're interested. And, to top it off, this bag that I buy here on Amazon, the 24 ounce, lasts so much longer than the regular sized bag. It has the ziploc feature so allows product to stay fresher longer. I keep mine in the refrigerator. The price is great here as well. You really get so much product here, a pound and a half! Give it a try for your health and especially if you are looking to add Omega 3's and/or wanting to add more fiber to your diet and recipes. It's nothing short of a miracle to me for reasons stated.

Good quality ground flax seed, refrigerate after opening
This was a good price for a good quality product. I use ground flaxseed often, in baking, in my oatmeal, in yogurts, to add fiber and protein. Very healthy for you! Please be aware you need to refrigerate ground flaxseed after opening! I do recommend.

Excellent quality
Excellent quality product and cheaper than the grocery store. I bought this for the fact that it contains lignans which help with hormonal balance. I take it in combination with a few other things for hormonal acne. It also has a nice nutty flavor so its easy to incorporate it into a dish. I hope this review helps you! Give it a thumbs up!

If you buy this, you're obviously trying to eat better.. but who knew that this would actually become something I craved? I love this stuff. It's like a nutty topping that you can put on oatmeal, yogurt, ice cream.. I even sprinkle some on my peanut butter and banana sandwiches. I'll be eating this stuff for life! It's great!

I started drinking fruit and veggie smoothies about a year ago. I put 2 tablespoons of this ground flaxseed in every day... The results - I have lost 14 lbs to date and my cholesterol has dropped from 230 a year ago to a whopping 144 now! Blood pressure was a little elevated and is now completely normal. I can honestly tell you all that I will be doing this for the rest of my life!!!

PERFECT FOR ENERGY BALLS! {Recipe Below}
I use this flax to make Energy Balls and they're delicious! My kids love them as well. Super healthy & we have replaced our purchasing of granola bars which is even greater :-) 1/2 cup peanut butter (or any nut butter) 1/3 cup honey 1 tsp. Vanilla - Mix above together then add: 1 cup Old Fashioned Oats 2/3 cup coconut 1/2 cup flaxseed meal 6 Tbsp. mini chocolate chips - Combine all and let chill before rolling into balls. Store in air tight container in refrigerator. Enjoy!!

I use 2 tsp a day in my oatmeal and can see a difference in my hair, skin and nails. Shiny and strong! Among the other awesome health benefits of flaxseed, one of the best thing is having a super good poop every day like clockwork.
