Excellent shower chair
Excellent shower chair. Fits perfectly in my bathtub. I am using this while I am recovering from a bilateral bunionectomy. Makes showering and brushing my teeth so much easier. High quality item and it is making my recovery from surgery that much easier. However, it does slide a bit in my bathtub so if you need extra support from slipping in the shower, I'd invest in extra wide rubber stoppers for the bottom. Then you can fully support yourself with the chair without worry of it sliding out from under you in the tub.

easy to recommend
i needed this for my aching back, to keep me from slipping in the shower. it has meet my expectations and more. it is not a bariatric unit as far as i can tell, btw. sturdy. easy to clean ( I spray it with lysol). the instructions take a couple times to read so that you know how to put it together... it took my physical therapist about 45min to put together. highly recommend.

Great Shower Chair
Great Chair! At first my husband didn't want me to buy it, but now he's greatful that bought it. He has balance issues and he's used it several times to sit in it in the shower. We had a new shower installed with handicap Rails, but the chair helps, because he has a hard time standing up. I wish the chair was a little sturdier, but it's worth the money.

This chair was perfect for my needs
This chair was perfect for my needs. It's affordable and functional. I weigh about 140 and this chair holds me up just fine. I broke my ankle and quickly realized I needed a shower chair. I usually spend a lot of time looking through reviews and ratings and this seemed the best for the price. It serves it's purpose and I haven't had any problems. It fits in my regular sized bath tub both ways, (I had to stick my foot out the side of the tub for a while) and I even have an annoying soap dish that sticks out. The bottom rubber parts suction to the bottom of the tub making it more stable while in the water.

So grateful to find this shower stool
Recoverig from a broken ankle on my left foot and broken big toe on right foot it became obvious I needed a proper shower stool to safely take showers. The handles were perfect for helping me lift myself from shower to walker. It occurred to me that a back would be a hinderance for washing my back. If someone has balance issues then a back would be a good idea. The stool is stable and dries quickly. It was a blessing!

The armrest easily helped him to sit down with ease
My Dad needed a chair that was stable stable and durable while showering. The backrest and seat is made of hard plastic so it's not too uncomfortable to sit. The armrest easily helped him to sit down with ease. The metallic legs are very sturdy. It is also light that he no problems removing it if necessary. Easy to assemble. So far he has no complaints.

Sturdy and easy to put together
I really like my shower seat. I may keep on using it even when I'm healed and strong again! It's very sturdy and easy to adjust in height. I just wish it was 1" less in width. Still works fine, though.

Strong & Secure Shower Bench
It is as sturdy as it looks...height is adjusted quickly, very sturdy at all levels. We have also used this seat in rooms other than the bathroom. "It's a great' portable safety seat" anywhere you need one.

Getting them on was easy. There are also four plastic brackets that are ...
This item was purchased for my father who will celebrate his ninety-first birthday next month. His balance and coordination are not what they were a few years ago, so he realized that he needed this chair. From the moment you unpack it, you can see that this is a quality item. I prefer to purchase products made in the United States, but you have as much chance of achieving that as you have winning a lottery. So I was pleasantly surprised that the chair was made in Taiwan. At least they have a form of democracy there. It took me about forty-five minutes to assemble the chair. I probably could have assembled it in about thirty minutes if I had been paying a bit more attention. There are two bars that support the seat. They are numbered "1" and "2." . Getting them on was easy. There are also four plastic brackets that are used to guide the tubes supporting the backrest. Two are numbered "1" and the others "2." They attach to those tubes. I thought the brackets could be attached in any fashion. Thus when I went to slide in the backrest tubes I had a problem. After some adjustments I got it right. All that was needed was a screwdriver. It would have been nice if those brackets had etched upon them a little arrow to indicate the proper direction. The chair is stable. Just ensure that your bathtub/shower will be able to accommodate the chair at its base ( it just about fits into our tub). I would recommend this product to anybody!

Small, Strong, and Useful!
This little shower chair is the perfect transition to aging for us! It is unobtrusive in the shower, but there when either of us needs it. Those mornings when the medicines are kicking in and either of us does not feel 100% stable, this chair is there. We can shower together and laugh our way through the suds; you do my back and I'll do yours...with the hand-held shower head, this is a fabulous way to be safe while getting squeaky clean. We are both slender, so this one is right for us - both of us have a BMI of 20.5 and this little shower chair has arm elevations for pushing yourself up, which is perfect. It is light enough to park out of the way while standing when you don't need it, and it is handing for resting a leg on it while I shave legs. Even if we were not getting older, I would like this in the shower for its many uses, besides the obvious safety it provides.
