Newer, smaller NC handicap placard fits fine
Handicap placards are issued once every couple of years (5 years in some states). These are usually a type of coated cardboard that becomes brittle and the hanging slot tears, rendering it useless to hang from your mirror as instructed. These sleeves will protect it and also make it easier to hang using the honest-to-goodness hanger. The placard slides in effortlessly and both sides are easy to see. A simple, cost effective investment.

Perfect solution for bulky mirrors
These work great. I bought a new Outback this year that has EyeSight, which makes the mirror handle large and bulky. It started warping the placards I got from the DMV, so I did some research and found these handy little sleeves. The hanging piece fits both of my vehicles and provides a clear view for anyone who needs to see the ID and signature. Recommend.

A perfect solution to a common problem
Pros: -Placing and removing is as simple as hanging up a shirt in your closet. No more bending or fumbling! -You don’t have to even touch your permit because it stays protected in the clear sleeve meaning no need to replace damaged permits. -The permit hangs lower meaning it is completely visible in the windshield. No more double glances to make sure you see it. Cons: -Local laws may not allow you to display the permit this way but I can’t see anyone giving you a hard time about it because it is more visible. If you have a permit, this is worth the cost.

Well made product!
I've had other handicap placard protectors that have just been a pain and the hook snapped off. I bought two of these because they looked so well made that when my husband got his truck, he'd have a good protector too. They are made of a higher quality plastic. The little hanger at the top fits perfect around the rear-view mirror arm that's attached to the windshield. Easy to put on and off without the chance of pulling the mirror or the hook breaking. The whole placard fit in the sleeve. When I first purchased it I thought I was going to have to cut off the hook that is part of the placard but didn't. I would recommend to anyone to purchase this protective sleeve.

Nice cover, does the job, and you will be happy with your purchase.
I found this Handicap Parking Permit Cover just what was Needed for my husbands Handicap Tag. The hanger on the State issued Permit just did not work with the rear view mirror on our car. This cover is just perfect, easy to hang and remove, it fits the NJ Handicap Permit and it protects the Handicap Parking Permit as in our State it is good for 3 years. Nice to have that second cover too. I would recommend this cover.

Awesome
This is for my mother's handicap parking placard. It does a fine job of suspending it from the rear-view mirror. There is even a handy and ingenious hook right on the top part. In not at all disabled (unless chronic gas and halitosis is considered a disability) but I still enjoy using it. You just can't beat the parking spots it gives you access to. If you do the same, make sure to look like you're in great pain while exiting your car. Adding a slight limp is also effective...just don't over-do it.

PERFECT!
This is the perfect solution for handicap parking permits! Most mirrors in cars are too thick for the hanger portion from the DMV. The sleeve is soft and the permit slides right in without a problem. The hanger on the sleeve fits perfectly and easily over both our car windows. I find that the permits do not tolerate the sun after a few years and they become brittle and crack. Then you are left taping them together. At least this way, it is a little more protected and will hold together a taped up permit without the worry of it falling apart more. When not is use, we slide the permit into the visor. It is so easy to just hook the hanger over the mirror when parked. SO much easier than just the permit alone!!!

Nice, but...
Nice quality plastic, but it was mailed folded so there's a semi-permanent crease in the decal holder. I didn't care much for that. Then the decal holder is much larger than the State of Georgia decal itself. There is literally an inch of extra area around each of the four sides, too much room leftover. Aesthetically, it is unpleasing with the extra room, but overall great quality plastic and serves its purpose. UPDATE: Crease came out with the heat and hanging after one parking. So, it's a nonissue.

New version is perfect.
Originally I wrote this: Not quite tall enough for NC placard. We had to bend top a bit. Also the plastic hanger is a little hard to get around mirror piece. The plastic hanger should be slightly bigger. However we fixed a work around and it now it works fine. Company saw my three star review and set me a new product which is longer with a bigger hook. It is perfect. I really appreciate the attention most Amazon suppliers have toward their products.

lots of room to hold large placards or multiple garage tags at the same time
These are very large holders. I use them for my multiple parking garage tags (versus a handicap placard, but they are large enough to hold a handicap placard - my mom's fits when she comes to visit and uses my car). The holder is large enough to hold two garage tags plus one handicap placard all at the same time. You can lay-out/arrange multiple tags side by side, and the holder/sleeve is tight enough to keep them all in place/secure. The hook is large enough to fit over a really fat rear-view mirror stem.
