Tastes good very comparable to name brand
This is yet another excellent product by Good Sense. I've used several Good Sense products and like this have found them to be of equal quality as the brand names but for a lot less money. This one tastes good (to both grandma and granddaughter) and is effective for helping to keep up fluids and electrolytes when a child has the flu or is feeling ill.

Just like the name brand, minus the high price!
I found this product to be comparable to Pedialyte in every way but at a fraction of the cost. I ordered the grape flavor and found it to be pleasant. It has just the right amount of flavor without that weird sweet or salty taste that these products sometimes have. I know Pedialyte is typically marketed towards kids but it's something that I as an adult use from time to time myself when I'm under the weather and trying to stay hydrated. All in all a great product!

Grape-flavored oral rehydration solution
Good Sense Pedia Electrolyte Liquid is very useful to have on hand when children get dehydrated from poor fluid intake, heat, vomiting, or diarrhea and regular beverages or a simple homemade solution won't do the trick. The grape flavor is very appealing to children, so it is easy to get them to drink it. The World Health Organization offers a simple and effective recipe for an oral rehydration solution when commercial products are unavailable or unaffordable: Purified water - 1 L (4¼ cups) Salt - 2.5 mL (½ teaspoon) Sugar - 30 mL (6 teaspoons)

Good flavor
Every time my daughter has a new tooth come in, she gets a terrible diaper rash and is miserable. She only wants liquids and gets pretty dehydrated from the inflamed rash. I always go to pedialyte for the couple of days when it's the worst. Had the chance to try to Good Sense product, and it's really the same as pedialyte. So if it's less expensive, go for it. No difference. And I personally think the grape flavor is less salty and weird tasting than the others.

Cost Effective Version of Pedialyte
Whenever someone in our household gets sick, we always go to the standby liquids - water, ginger ale, and Pedialyte. The only problem is that often when sick, kids don't want to drink water, ginger ale sometimes settles stomachs and sometimes not, and Pedialyte - while it works well - is often way too expensive. Good Sense Pedia Liquid is a good alternative to Pedialyte as it essentially is the same minus the brand name. The flavor is comparable to Pedialyte and it's essentially the same stuff at half the cost. Highly recommended.

Excellent size but keep an eye on value
This bottle is perfect for nursing your child through an extended illness as it is basically a full day's dosage. However, before buying this size do a careful price comparison to make sure it offers a better value for your buck. In general it provides a very affordable alternative to name brands...especially if you live in an area where many generics aren't sold based on size constraints, etc.

Perfect comparison to Pedialyte
I didn't use this for an infant. I used it for myself. There is a particular wine that I like but it gives me the worst hangover ever. It is weird because I honestly do not drink enough of it to even actually get drunk. I am talking just a few glasses of it and I will go to bed not even feeling buzzed, but I wake up the next morning with my head spinning, pounding headache, sick in the stomach so bad and just feeling like complete crap. Electrolyte fluids are amazingly great for helping to treat hangovers. It replenishes and re-hydrates. I had used Pedialyte brand in the past with good results and figured I would give this one a try as well. It works just as good as the name brand, but costs less. Doesn't taste terrible. Mildly sweet like a Vitamin Water type drink. I have to believe it works just as well for infants and children. It worked perfectly for me.

Works just as well as Pedialyte...
My 3 1/2 year old daughter recently went through a 4 day bout with a stomach bug. She refused to eat anything, and only wanted to drink juice. Of course, too much juice isn't a good idea when a child has diarrhea and vomiting. I had a bottle of this Good Sense Pedia Electrolyte grape liquid in the cabinet. My daughter loved the taste of it, and kept asking for "grape juice". We ran out after a few hours, and had to go to a local store to purchase more. They didn't have this brand, so my spouse bought brand name Pedialyte instead. My daughter actually preferred the flavor of the generic though.

Good Sense is all I buy now.
Lately my daughter and I have been sick for the flu. We both have not felt good and today was the first time the vomiting started. She vomited all over me. With me being sick as well, it was a hard task to clean up. I had placed this in the refrigerator not hoping to use it anytime soon. However, I took it out today and it has been a lifesaver! Not only did my daughter drink it, I did as well! She said she enjoyed the flavor and I found it to be rather subtle myself. I have used other Good Sense medicine and all but one, that was an adult one for me, did not work. In fact, my daughter will only take their child’s pain reliever in bubble gum flavor. She now refuses any other brand. Good sense is a great choice and very cost effective. I am glad to know there are other options out there. I am now buying their products since they not only work, but are a great value!
