Man what a difference! The added leverage is a welcome relief to my tired old hands and forearms. I have used this gun only once, but much easier to pump 5200 marine adhesive than with a regular caulk gun! IMHO, well worth the price even for an occasional user like me. May rent it out to other boating friends, lol!

Really like the trigger ratio; much easier to handle with less product coming out each squeeze. Nice sturdy tool too.

I bought two of these. I install windows and use thsee everyday. I work in wisconsin in the winter the caulk gets pretty hard and they still hold up. Been using them for a year so far and still work great. Everyone I work with uses these. If mine does break I will buy these again. Definitly got my money's worth.

Great caulk gun. We use super thick urethane based sealants from time to time and when it’s cold, they’re impossible to apply with the cheap guns without killing your hand. This guy handles it with ease. Very pleased with my purchase and it seems to be VERY solid as well.

This a an excellent caulk gun.. easy to hold and much better made than the cheapies at Home Depot.

perfect amount of leverage/pressure for OSI QUAD, which is a thicker caulk that is painful to apply using a cheapo caulking gun. no need for multiple guns, either, this applies latex-based caulk just fine, too. doesn't have the no-drip feature (which retracts the piston after every trigger pull to make sure product doesn't leak out), but i have never seen the benefit of those -- they just make it harder to get a consistent bead down, and i see nothing wrong with manually releasing the pressure as needed after you finish a run.

We have used these caulk guns for a number of years now and think they are the best we've ever used. (multiple decade contractor)

Finally. A caulk gun that I can deal with. I have arthritis in my hands but refuse to let it slow me down. I am remodeling the entire house and that means a lot of caulking. The cheap guns at the big box stores don't help me out. Too much pain after the job. This does work much better with a lot less effort. Highly recommend.

Try squeezing acoustical caulk from a quart-sized tube with a regular caulking gun. I couldn't do it and neither could beefier workers who are much stronger than I am. With a whole basement ceiling to soundproof, what to do? Sometimes I search for things I hope exist, like a powered caulking gun...et voila! There it was on Amazon. Checked out the brand and saw Albion is an established brand in its field so took a chance. This is one of the best tools in the world and I smile whenever I look at it. The battery holds a charge and is interchangeable with Milwaukee drill batteries so you can have several chargers going at once. I didn't see a wire to puncture the tube so used an old caulker. I'm new at this so had to play around with slicing the tip of the tube, etc., and because it's powered, the bead got away from me at first. It can get messy, especially if you're caulking overhead or when once in a while the back of the tube blows out which you don't want. My solution was to slip a small plastic bag over the bottom of the caulk tube before inserting it into the gun and saved myself a lot of cleanup time. If you have a big caulking job to do or have stiff caulk to work with, do yourself a favor and get one. If you're doing the job yourself or paying someone by the hour, the work will get done in at least half the time and will be a lot more pleasant while you're doing it.

Amazing caulking gun. Was killing my hands trying to put subfloor adhesive down with a regular caulk gun and the electrics are SO expensive. I thought this might end being squeeze-squeeze-squeeze to get a small amount of material out but it's not bad at all, and EFFORTLESS!
