This Makes A Great Cup Of Bulletproof Coffee - I'm Loving The Taste
This is my first time buy ghee. I wasn't sure what to expect but I thought I'd try a tablespoon of this in my morning cup of bulletproof coffee instead of the butter I've been using. I took a taste of this ghee right off the spoon and I really like it. It makes a nice cup of BP coffee. The amount on the spoon on the photo (probably a little less than a tablespoon) is the amount I've been putting in my coffee cup. This is my second day and I'm already hooked. Looking forward to also using it for cooking. This ghee is pricey at $35 for 64 servings, so I won't be using to it completely replace our butter, but I'm certainly glad I bought this jar. I'm glad that it doesn't require refrigeration for a couple months. I'm guessing by then, this will be gone, but if not I'll make a spot for it in our fridge.

This is the best ghee I have ever had
This is the best ghee I have ever had. It has a beautiful color and a sweet, almost nutty, scent. The packaging was amazing, there is no way my glass jar was going to break in transit. Also, the padding they wrapped it in is reusable and/or recyclable paper, so I felt better about that. It tastes amazing in my bullet proof coffee and it's great to cook and season with. I will definitely keep reordering, although it appears I may have to turn to their website! If you're looking to eat healthier, or just better foods, or especially if you are doing a Whole30, I highly recommend this ghee.

Essential for Ketogenic Diet
Being raised as an Indian, I grew up with ghee. I foolishly abandoned it for decades during the great lipid hysteria and my health suffered greatly. My wife, mother-in-law and I are now cooking with ghee as much as possible and have greatly improved our health. Even if you're not doing keto, this is a really wonderful tasting ghee. Highly recommended.

An Investment in Your Health
It’s funny how we all are at times. We are willing to spend a ton of money on a car , house or fancy lawn mower, spend the extra money for that SSD Drive on our Laptop but we’re cheap with what we put into our own bodies. We buy fruit that can be near expiration because it’s cheaper. Eat lots of pasta because it’s a filler. Yet, we’re all getting sick , despite following our doctors advice. We are losing some of our best people to Cancer. It’s almost as if a time bomb begins ticking in a us at 55 and goes off between 67-72. Despite what we’ve been taught, people this age are our greatest resource. They hold something far more valuable than Knowledge. Their age gives us the gift of Wisdom. Intelligence tempered by Compassion. But instead of teaching the next generation, these people die a prolong and medicated death. The Long Death. If you’ve been a caretaker , you know what I’m talking about, There is sufficient evidence that various oils are clogging our arteries. Listen to some videos of Dr. Joel Wallach for deeper understanding. See if it feels correct to you because we’re all different . What I put in my engine may not fuel yours Ghee and other healthy butters are the correct alternative. This Ghee is the best one available. Invest in yourself , your own well being. That new iPhone won’t serve you if you’re dead or dying. And social media won’t love you through chemo cause that ain’t pretty. I’ve seen too many great people who did everything they should be doing, what “doctors” told them to do and yet were cut down right when they should be contributing the most and enjoying the easy life. To your Health. Salute!

This has a richer, more buttery flavor than other brands I have tried.
This is now my favorite brand of ghee. I used to go with the Pure Indian Foods brand, but I like the taste of this brand a little better and this one is cheaper. I have cooked with both of them and although I couldn't detect much of a difference after I cooked with them, I would be able to tell the difference if I just put them on toast. Ghee is not cheap but a little goes a long way. I used to cook with grass fed butter until I learned that different cooking butters and oils will oxidize and create free radicals if they are heated above their allotted temperature. Since then, I discovered ghee which is basically butter with all the milk solids removed. This makes it a much more stable fat to cook with and it can be heated to a much higher temperature than almost all other fats/oils without compromising it (485 degrees F). I just make sure to use a lid on my pans because ghee tends to spit out of the pan more than butter when heated initially. Ghee benefits... 1. Contains one of the highest natural sources of CLA (conjugated linoleic acid). CLA is a potent antioxidant, anti-carcinogen & powerful immune system enhancer. CLA cannot be produced by the human body so the only way we can get it is through foods such as whole milk, butter, beef, and lamb. CLA has been shown to increase metabolic rate, lower insulin resistance and lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels. To get the most CLA, it is important to always buy grass fed ghee. 2. Ghee is rich in medium chain fatty acids, which are absorbed directly by the liver (like carbs) and burned as energy. Athletes can use ghee as a consistent energy source. 3. Ghee is rich in vitamins & does a whole number of things to aid in the process of digestion.

20 stars out of 5 in my books - watch out for “Amazon effect”
We tried many different ghee brands before – never really satisfied with any one. When we tried this AO ghee; our long lasting quest instantly came to a joyful end right there and then. That taste and smell brought back childhood memories that I wasn’t aware I kept (talking about four decades plus here). This ghee has been an absolute godsend – the best available on earth, literally second to none. I took pleasure to inform all my family & friends. Not only informing them, but I made sure that they taste it when they visit us. We become so enthusiastic and passionate about it. It’s a pricey product, but it still instantly become a staple in our kitchen. After a year and consumption of 14 jars later; ghee in last jar I received few days ago was completely different. I usually transfer some amount from jar to a container using a knife as spatula. That’s been always a “buttery soft” experience on all previous jars (and we always store them at 72F room temperature at all times). But to my horror; product in this jar acted as dense as cheddar cheese. I had to literally muscle it out. Color was lighter (not wonderfully saturated yellow hue as before). Smell was lighter. It also tasted lighter. I wrote a quite harsh critique to provided email on company brochure (presuming that the purity of the product was intentionally compromised – to increase profit margin). I really didn’t expect any meaningful response – may be a canned text from a careless call center clerk at best (as it is the norm nowadays – that includes you Amazon). Still, since we prized that product a lot; I had a sliver of hope that there might be some explanation. To my surprise, owner of the company replied with a sincere explanation. It turns out that Amazon changed warehouse location for them from California to New Jersey. So to make it to my door step; my jar criss-crossed the continent twice over – from California to New Jersey to Seattle, probably freezing and thawing over several times in between (hence “Amazon effect”). That’s probably not the best exposure for such organic product with medicinal properties. Owner of AO immediately acted on to correct things. He’ll probably be looking in ways to optimize Amazon logistics details. This ghee ranked 10 stars to me before (in Amazon’s 5-star ranking). Now after seeing honesty & integrity of the people behind it; I sincerely and wholeheartedly rank it 20 stars. Disclaimer : I am in no shape or form related to this company. My reviews can never be paid for or influenced in any other way – other than simply being a good product and honest people behind their product.

Wanted to add healthy fat to my diet. Did it with this butter and immediately started losing weight. WOW!
Returning customer! I don't want to run out. I bought this a month ago based on an article in one of the "at the chekout stand" magazines. I think it was First. Women were losing an amazing amount of fat by adding 2 tablespoons of butter from grass fed cows to their morning coffee (using a blender). I thought it was probably another fad of the day, but I realized I was not getting nearly enough fat in my diet to help me lose weight. No fat = no (or minimal) weight loss. I decided to try it. I knew if I would eat more fat (and protein) I would lose some weight. I did not expect to lose 14 pounds in less than 3 weeks!!! Am I ever happy I gave it a try. I feel really good, I am not hungry (I am reminding myself to eat!), and I will be losing more until I reach my healthiest weight. What a blessing! Three weeks ago my size 18 jeans were fine to tight. As I type this, I am wearing a comfortable size 14 jean. The only down side is four weeks ago I ordered new jeans in a size 18. Probably have to give them away--but that's ok--I'd rather be healthy. I expected to feel better by adding this butter, but didn't realize i would experience this wonderful side benefit as the women in the article did.

BEST GHEE I'VE HAD
Truly the best ghee ever. I have tried many different brands, including ones from India and Egypt and other grassfed brands, but none of them compare to Ancient Organics. The minute you open the jar, it smells heavenly - like grassfed butter should smell. I could never understand why butter smelled so much better than ghee when both were based on the same source (milk fat). Heating butter did not take away from the sweet smell of it and yet the ghees I've used in the past never smelled sweet to me. Another grassfed brand actually smelled sour and maybe it was because it was "cultured," but I thought ghee was supposed to last longer than butter; after a couple of months, it lost color, turned a very pale yellow well before the expiration date. THIS ghee is super smooth and spreadable like creamy peanut butter, while other brands were liquidy with pebbles of solids. I could eat it straight out of the jar, something I could not do with other brands of ghee, which makes me ultra curious as to WHY and HOW they make this ghee such that it could turn out so different and so good?!

Absolutely delicious! Like caramel melting in your mouth.
I made the mistake of ordering a large number of jars of this stuff directly from Ancient Organics 2-3 years ago to get a discount--I love it, but did not use enough of it to get through it before it expired. It was still OK at the end of its life (and, to be honest, a little after--it's not like clarified butter actually goes bad, and this didn't get rancid yet), but I finally decided enough was enough--I had to throw out my remaining two jars and buy some new, now that it was available from Amazon. When I got this, I tried it and my jaw dropped--it was so delicious, like caramel melting in my mouth!! I remembered how good this stuff was and why I'd bought so much in the first place. It's definitely not worth buying extra to get a discount because it's so much better new, I'm going to just buy it as I go through it now rather than risk it losing its flavor and not wanting to use it again.

Great for frying eggs and vegetables as it delievers fantastic nutty buttery flavor that is mind boggling.
My first time trying Ghee and extremely please so far with limited use. We have stir fried vegetables with it in our Chinese WOK and they were fabulous. We fried our eggs this morning for egg sandwiches and the flavor of the egg was simply incredible. I read reviews where people were eating it straight from the jar but that is a stretch for me. NOT! Anyway, looking for other interesting ways to use the Ghee. It is obviously a high quality product and the nutty buttery taste on foods so far as mentioned above are just wonderful. I will come back and update review as we learn new ways to use in our kitchen. Glad I bought it and looking forward to this culinary adventure.
