Awesome matte black and neon green bike. My son is 12 and was wanting a BMX style bike and this is perfect. It was easy and quick to assemble and was perfect for him.

This bike is great, my 11 year old loves it. I hesitated because of the other reviews but I'm glad I purchased it because it is a terrific value for the money. You probably have figured out there aren't a lot of options for 24" BMX bikes and at this age he's going through a bike a year so I didn't want to spend $500 - $600 for a bike to be replaced next year. I was concerned about the reports of bent front forks, what's interesting is it happened to me too. I was about to give up and then I realized my mistake: I put the bike on the wheel instead of the wheel on the bike. I was lazy and so I put the bike on the wheel, everything right side up. Yep, bent front fork. I was angry for not heeding the other warnings but then I took off the front wheel, turned the bike upside down and put the wheel back on - perfect fit, no bent forks. Not sure exactly how that happened but everything is perfect and I recommend this bike. The packing was good and the most surprising part was the brake was already assembled - no adjustments necessary, the brake worked perfectly out of the box, that has to be a first. If I removed the troubleshooting described above it was about ten minutes of unpacking and a half hour of assembly.

For my 14 yo boy, 220lbs. He loves it. The bike came in heavy double card board boxes. There was a small scratch on the frame, easily covered with black nail polish. No other damage. No problems with putting the front wheel on. No problems with anything structural. We did choose to customize it a bit. Took off all of the stickers. Super easy. We put on a new, wider seat. Took the handle bars off and painted them black(they are grey to start) Painted the bracket that holds the handle bars gold. Replaced the grips with gold and black grips to match the rest of the bike. And added some led bike wheel lights. Total cost was about $225. Here’s the why, My kid is big and the options for bmx bikes for bigger kids is this or much more expensive bikes. Now he has a bike he feels is “totally custom”. lol

Bike came double boxed and then was wrapped in cardboard. Good looking bike. My son just turned 11 today and is 5'5" and 130 pounds. He is too big for his 20" Tony Hawk which he loved. Well...he loves the 24" version even more. Nice paint, lime green accents, and fast. Two things that would have made it perfect are pegs(axle bolts are too short to add them) and there is only a rear brake. Other than that...the bike exceeded my son's expectations as well as my own. Great product!

Was really easy to assemble. Our 11 year old son loves it! He is just learning to ride a bike so only having only a front hand brake is difficult for him. The smaller bike we originally purchased had a brake on the rear with the pedal and a front hand brake. Great quality made bike.

My 13-yr-old loves it! He wanted a "BMX style" bike but it needed to be bigger than the typical 20" models that are out there. This was the only one I could find for a reasonable price that had 24" tires. He wanted all black, so we peeled off the neon stickers and spray painted the handlebar mount, which was the only part of the bike that was neon and couldn't be removed. He's thrilled. We have only had the bike a few months and it is winter, so he hasn't gotten much riding in yet, but it seems well made and was very easy to assemble. Highly recommend.

This is not the bike I would have chosen for my son but he absolutely loves it! He saw this model on Amazon and instantly said he would prefer it over the bulky 10-speed mountains or squat BMX bikes I was looking at. Apparently, 'freestyle' is in with all the hip 10-year-olds. Well, we wern't disappointed. The bike arrived quickly (thanks to Amazon.com's super-sneaky shipping elves) and was very easy to put together. I haven't noticed any defects in workmanship or the quality of the product. My son has been riding hard now for over a month now and the bike is going strong. I will try to update this in about a year whenever we reach the 30,000 mile mark :-) Just wanted to give a brief update now we have reached the one year mark. My son puts this poor bike through a lot of abuse, leaving it outside in the elements for days at a time and letting it drop to the ground if he is in too much of a hurry to engage the kickstand (don't ask me what kind of responsibility a 12 year old could have that he's in that much of a hurry, I can't figure it out myself. Anyway, the poor bike suffers through all of this maltreatment with no signs of wearing out. All pieces and parts are still intact, no rust that I can see, and the breaks still work correctly without any necessary adjustment. Can't ask for any better than that!

This bike is awesome, didn't have any issues with bent wheels or forks, it came with the front fork protection . Which is plastic but will hold up when installed before shipping. Also like that the weight restriction is up to 275 lbs. Be prepared to lubricate the bearings, which I had to when I got it also recommend lubricate the pedals before putting it together, I've seen reviews saying issues with it stripping the threads. Just got it yesterday and rode it a couple times, the brake shoes are burning up into dust which you'll see once you ride it around. I'd switch out for a better set, promax makes good braks

I was looking for low-cost fixed-gear bikes for my sons (13 & 11 years old), so I bought 2 of these. They assembled very quickly and the boys were riding in under 30 minutes after opening the boxes. I had read some reviews about problems with the front fork & wheel being a tight fit, so I paid attention to this aspect during assembly. No issues whatsoever. Perfect fit. I suspect shipping damage occurred in the case of those other reviewers. Perhaps the fork was bent. The boys are happy with these bikes and I was happy about not spending a whole lot for them. All is well.

We bought this for an older boy who is just learning to ride. The geared bikes don't have room for training wheels and the 20 inch kid bikes were too small. He has been riding it for two weeks with these training wheels (Adjustable Adult Bicycle Bike Training Wheels Fits 20" to 26" by CyclingDeal ). It is sturdy and works well for our needs.
