I was super skeptical of purchasing this product for my 3 year old. I've read every review for play kitchen and house sets. I wanted something sturdy, not cheap plastic looking, and something that would last for a couple years as his room changes. I thought this would be a great addition to his room as he loves to help us cook and play in the sink. He hasn't gotten it yet because it's a Christmas present but we have already put it together.. here's my experience thus far: It arrived quickly. I was anxious to open it and put it together because I did read some reviews about damage. I had no major issues (everything was there. some pieces were scratched but they were all pretty minor.) I would say it took a good 30-45 minutes to put together. The directions were very clear and everything is labeled with stickers and in the instructions so that was a big help... no guessing. My advice is just take your time and don't be in a rush, that's when you ending up putting things on upside down and backwards. the one thing that it didn't say in the instructions but that I thought was helpful is that on some of the shelves there is a little metal hole thing thats where the piece on the door (with the metal sticking out) fits into so make sure you are able to put the doors in the little metal slot and that they're facing the right way. all that you need to assemble is a screwdriver. It comes with an allen wrench and the screws needed plus a couple spares. Knobs make a clicking sound (not by battery, just by turning) both doors open to the right. I can't wait for my son to try this. We also bought the matching kitchen set! If youre skeptical or have any questions about this product ask and I will be happy to help you!

Great product. Very sturdy. Round doors extremely difficult to open. My granddaughter loves this!

We bought this for our one year old. We own several KidKraft products. Quality is always excellent. This didn’t take half as long to put together as our kitchen. My daughter loves to “help” me in the laundry room so this is perfect for her!

My daughter loves to do whatever mommy does. She had so much fun pretending to do laundry and cleaning because she’s seen me do it so many times. This matches perfect with our KidKraft kitchen set. I love that it is wood. Putting together is never fun for my husband but he got through it and he isn’t very handy. So cute and looks durable. Love that it is not bulky and doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb color wise in our house. The doors are a little difficult to open but I’m hoping this will ease over time / usage . So cute and great learning tool!! Hopefully she’ll do my laundry soon :)

Easy assembly. However would suggest doing it solo. Like many parents, my husband and I thought we should spend Christmas Eve putting big gifts together. Wrong. Do it alone. Would have gone way faster. The only thing my 5 year old doesn't like is one of the circle doors is really hard to open. She does her AG doll laundry every day and loves this thing. Like a weirdo. Still won't help with actual laundry.

I love this set! Matches well with my daughters Guidkraft kitchen. Took about 3 hours to put together. The round doors are pretty hard to open but after shaving off some of the plastic where it closes, it was perfect. Would recommend

Love this and super cute! My 3yr old daughter loves it and can play for hours. It took about an hour to put together which wasn’t too bad. I also have the kitchen that’s matches and everything looks super cute.

LOVE - LOVE! I can't say enough about this product. My 2.5 year old granddaughter totally loves it. It was easy to assemble but does take some time. Everything arrived damage free, well packaged, easy to follow directions and even included a couple of extra screws. My granddaughter loves opening the doors and tossing in her laundry. Very pleased with this set and it matches perfectly with her KidKraft Kitchen.

This is a real hit with the children in my house hold! Isnt it interesting that it is fun to make believe using them but then one day they will be grown up)and think it is all such a chore.....enjoy it while they are young :)

Went together easily, we'll packaged and it looks good. Took about 90 minute to assemble and wasn't to heavy too move by myself. It said it wasn't gong to arrive until after Christmas but it came on the 22nd. My kids love the kitchen set, so this was a must have. All you need is a phillips screwdriver. I used a drill to make quick work of it but be careful if you do that. You don't want to over tighten anything or you will damage it. The wood is strong enough for this toy but on the cheaper side and will strip out or split if you're not careful. The little side shelves and iron are good quality. The shelves are held on by 4 or 5 screws and is solid. This seems like a much better quality than going with clunky looking plastic and it's more eye pleasing.
