I was looking for something to power a couple of speakers and mix a few microphones. I knew it would accomplish those tasks, but the effects built in were much better than I expected. It sounds great at practice, and with just one feed we can power the stage monitors with this thing at gigs when our "Big" PA system is running the mains.

As a retired karaoke host, I sold all of my pro amps and large speakers. I wanted a smaller more compact amp I could use at home with a pair of 12" 2 way Pyle Pro speakers. When I hooked this amp I was surprised at the power I got. It puts out enough power that I could run a show in a nice sized banquet room or club if I wanted.

This is an update on the PMP500m bought in 2014. It still works great in a church in Puerto Rico near the beach where salt corrosion is an issue to anything electronic or metal. The mixer is used to plug in mics, guitars and keyboard.

Sounds great and still works until now.

Great sounding little amp. However, I think the actual power output is running this amp at peak power with (4) 8 ohm speakers and listing to a really loud recorded song. Love the features but the MP3 1/8" input has little to hardly any volume to it whatsoever!!!

GOOD SOUND AND POWER. I HAVE OWNED SOME BEHRINGER PRODUCTS BEFORE AND NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS. THIS UNIT WILL BE USED FOR OCCASIONAL JAMS, ELECTRONIC DRUMS, AND WHATEVER ELSE I WANT TO PLUG IN TO IT SO I EXPECT IT TO HAVE A LONG SERVICE LIFE. WE SEE....

i use this amp for a back up amp and also for small karaoke and dance jobs, it works well , it is just a little to large to fit in a 2 space rack unless you cut out the top and bottom aluminum bars in the rack box to make it fit, at least that is what i did ,also there are no other outputs ,like rca for signal mix out, only the outputs for your speakers, but it is a good little amp overall

Bought this to replace a similar unit that blew up due to a power surge. Also got a power conditioner this time...

I did the unthinkable and brought this power mixer two day before the gig. I literally unpacked it out of the box and fired it up at the gig for the first time. It worked flawlessly, no hiss, no hum, just crisp clean sound from my instruments and vocals, WOW! It was easy to setup and it’s small and light weight. My speakers were made by Behringer also and I used Sure mics. If a need a bar bones small power mixer for a small venue, this is the power mixer for you.
