Be sure to oil screen or pizza may stick. I put my floured dough on the oiled screen then place on preheated stone to cook at 550 for up to 10 minutes.

Non-typical Use: Planter Screen

Purchased this item not for its intended purpose. Needed a way add decorative stones to planter to cover cheap inside plastic pot. This screen fit perfectly inside the outside pot rim! I cut screen in half and then customized openings to fit around the plant stems. Tin snips cut through the screen like butter. Easy to water over the stones and through the screen. This was a great hack! I am extremely pleased with the outcome and would buy again.

Up Your Pizza Game

We make a ton of homemade pizzas and have always struggled with achieving a perfectly cooked crust without burning or overcooking the cheese (using traditional cooking sheets and pizza stones). This pizza screen allows proper heat-flow to the bottom of the pizza producing near perfect results. I can see why pizza screens have been the go-to for pizza chains such as Papa John's and Dominoes for years. We have also topped it with aluminum foil and cooked french fries, chicken nuggets, etc for a fast and crispy result. Highly recommended.

Crispy Nirvana!

Finally got the crispy pizza crust I've been trying for for YEARS! I make pizza every Friday night, and I'd tried many different pans, including the cast iron ones, and the pizza was good, but not crispy. Now I use these screens and crank the heat up to 475 and I get the nice crispy crust I was looking for.

stable surface for a cushion

This flat mesh “pan” is perfect as a base for a 14 inch bar stool cushion, which together with a plant stand make a nice dog stool. My dog needed something to help her get on the furniture, yes, that is okay at our house! She is confidently using this as a base to jump onto the couch, it bears her weight and is stable.

Why Did I Wait To Buy These Pizza Screens?

If you've never used a pizza screen to bake homemade or cauliflower crust pizzas you don't know what you are missing! I got tired of scraping the bottom of the oven from cauliflower crusts falling through my oven racks. I found these reasonably priced screens and used them the first night they arrived. I sprayed each with coconut oil to help them not stick. Our pizza was so crispy, not burned and it didn't stick either. The screens are sturdy and do not bend when fully loaded with deliciousness...and the pizza lifts right off (be sure to spray before placing pizza or crust on the screen). Best buy of the week.

Love this product. I could eat pizza seven days a week and I love making my own from scratch. This is a great little device for cooking your pizza at home. I haven’t tried a frozen pizza on it because I don’t normally eat frozen pizza, I would think it would work as well as I found with my homemade though.

Great pizza screen!

I finally got this tried last night for the first time and very happy with the way the pizza cooked on it. I used a cold rise dough recipe and it cooked it very well. I would make sure you use a little oil around the rim or around the edge of the pizza, that is the only place where I had a little bit of an issue with it sticking and I totally believe it was due to my first use of not only this dough but this type of a pan. I used it at 500 degrees for about 9 minutes for a 14 inch pizza. It really came out well and I'm very pleased with the pizza screen and would recommend it to anyone who is in to making their own pizzas from scratch. I think it would work very well with a frozen pizza too or the chain that you cook your own pizza from. It was easy cleanup. Definitely a great purchase and would definitely buy again. It arrived quickly, on time, and was packaged well.

Used for an art project rather than cooking

I actually used this for an art project (a hanging mobile of Christmas ornaments with filament line). It is lightweight - so it is perfect to hang from the ceiling! I even strung LED string lights around it for a dazzling effect. It helped that it was both large and lightweight for all of this!

Required to not burn the pizza when placed on a stone or steel.

Well made. Recommend using high temperature cooking oil coating before placing pizza on as it will make it much easier for the pizza to come off and also clean. I have experimented with stainless spacers to keep the screen about 3/4” above my cooking stone and that helps too.
