Took embroidery very well.

I bought these towels to embroider on. They stitched out beautifully. They are absorbant and wash up nicely with minimal shrinkage. I also like that they have a decent binding. Once embroidered, they make a nice finished product; no need to do more. I will definitely purchase these again.

Absolutely WONDERFUL kitchen towels!

Hello! I wanted to add my opinion of these great kitchen towels to the huge body of positive reviews, so here goes... . I bought these towels long ago, when stocking my very first new-to-me home. They far exceeded my expectations then, and my view of them has remained very positive since. Since that time, I've moved three times, most notably 1.5 years ago when I bought a new condo as part of my downsizing time of life. It's a place that lets in copious amounts of light from all sides is outfitted with shiny brown and black granite counters set atop light brown maple counters/floors and boasting shiny stainless steel built-in appliances. Before this, I don't think I'd ever consciously choose such a color scheme but I grew to love it almost immediately. I purchased these kitchen towels in red to match condo-sized red small appliances with which I gifted myself (which were a big departure from the big family-sized appliances of my previous home). Always a fan of plenty of kitchen linens, I also bought these towels in brown and green. I'm here today for the same towels in black -- because they're THAT good! I *love* these towels! They hold up forever, it seems, washer-load through washer-load. They pick up everything wet or moist, and definitely do the job when I use them as washcloths on my counters or to wipe moisture from inside my sink or off the range. And they always -- always -- look good, whether new or much, much older. I recommend them without reservation, and with a lot of enthusiasm.

I'm totally happy with the quality

I'm totally happy with the quality. The other reviews scared me a little... I ran them through the wash before even using them, and the color remained fast. These are absorbent, thick, and feel like good quality to the touch. They feel like much better quality than ones I got at Costco, which I typically think of as having the best quality of everything.

Great Size and Quality and Hold Up Well After Many Washings!!

This is my second set of these towels (one set in gray and one set in black) and I really love the size and quality! You can just never have enough kitchen and hand towels. These hold up well after many washings, do not fade or pill, and are very absorbent and soft! Will definitely buy again!

Just what I was looking for!

I am kinda OCD and like all my sets of towels to match. Including sheets, bath towels, and until recently all my kitchen towels were mismatched. And I wanted them to all match. But I wanted GOOD kitchen towels as my last set I purchased at Costco of all places were horrible and not absorbing at all. So I searched and searched for the perfect kitchen towel. I read reviews on tons of towels and wanted quality! So I found these and ordered. I literally opened the box and was like YESSSSS.... these are exactly what I was looking for!! I threw them in the washing machine, and they washed up great. I am very happy!

These are the best!

I have a hard time finding kitchen hand towels that I like. I'm picky, I want it soft and absorbent at the same time, is that too much to ask? These meet the criteria! They are both soft (not SUUUPER soft, but still soft) Very absorbent! which is huge for me, because I feel like most are lacking in that area, I fully intend on buying another set! Thank you for making a great product!!

Does not shrink after wash

This is the third wash and no shrinkage , did not use bleach just detergent and oxiclean , worth the money , I bought the white ones they are bright and strong

Fantastic hand towels at a bargain price

These towels are superb! The size is ideal to drape over a towel bar on a drawer, allowing for about 14" of hang to dry your hands. They're very soft, and they're exceptionally absorbent. And...having a pack of 8 allows us to change the towel every day and always have a fresh spare ready to go. The price was also quite amazing! Very, very please with this choice of towels!
