The best thing for a print collector

Currently I store my art collections of Japanese woodblock prints, German lithographs, and American graphic artworks in the Itoya folders of various sizes. I know they're well protected while still available for viewing whenever the occasion requires. I bought my first folder about 25 years ago to store a series of Chinese graphic artworks. These are still as vibrant and in great shape as when I first slipped them into those transparent envelopes. Itoya folders are an art collectors best friend.

Good value for the cost

I bought this as a portfolio to display printed items to clients. It is light and will fit into my briefcase (it's a big briefcase). The covers are made from heavy gauge plastic. They are flexible but heavy enough to protect for my use. The black lining sheets provided are heavy enough to mount the printed pieces on (using clear corners). Seems well put together and durable. Lightweight which is a good thing for my purposes which involve carrying it around a lot.

Fell in love again with art

This right here is what I needed in life ! Lol . Perfect , most of my early work got destroyed due to poor storage. I am by far no artist , but I love to draw and paint . I stopped drawing and painting three years now and by purchasing this as a means to salvage what is left of some of my work it ignited an old Love for the arts I had since I was young ! I know , you guys probably saying all this from a profolio , nah a good quality profolio does this too you .

Great for Melissa & Doug Reusable sticker books!

I second the reviewer who said these are great with Melissa & Doug Reusable Sticker books! Those books are fantastic, but the stickers can be a bit too hard for young kids to remove, so they end up giving up and wasting a bunch of the stickers. If you're willing to take the time to peel them off yourself and put them in these portfolios, they're a huge hit! Plus, the kids can use the extra unused pages to display their artwork. Gave these as Christmas gifts to a 1 1/2 year old and a 2 1/2 year old, and their Mom says she loves that this activity can hold their attention for a long time with minimal supervision. When they get bored with one scene, they can just flip to a new one. Highly recommend!

Just what I needed

I've been storing large photos in a drawer for years and finally decided to do something with them. This album is perfect, the photos slide easily into the acid-free pages and are protected by sturdy see-through plastic. The cover is well made and when the book is open it lies completely flat making loading and viewing photos easy. I am ordering an additional album to store my son's art work.

Great for a child's reusable sticker activities

Perfect for using with Melissa and Doug "Reusable" sticker books. The picture from the book fits in the sleeve and the stickers can be stored on the opposite page. This keeps the scene pages protected - I have found with previous sets that the stickers over time leave a "shadow" on the page if left in one spot for a few days.

Very high quality, the product is one of the best for artists trying to show a gallery or a commissioner. It makes you look more professional than the average artist, and if your like me you need that extra boost to get the work. It’s going to help you a lot being organized and professionally ready and invested in your work. The product has a matte black top made of plastic and is very complimentary to the work inside, it’s not distracting like other similar products. The sleeves are high quality and very soft. Meaning that if you put your physical artwork into it that the materials such as charcoal won’t smudge. It’s well bound and is amazing overall the pric is unbeatable and the quality is outstanding. If you need to put together a strong and professional portfolio this is were you need to start! I couldn’t recommend this product enough for artists.

Great for Melissa and Doug stickers

I ordered this to use for my daughter's Melissa and Doug reusable stickers as a suggestion from another reviewer. It absolutely works perfectly for that. The stickers stay on and the pages fit perfectly. It is a little on the heavy side for a toddler to carry around but that is ok because I just put it on the floor and she flips through it easily on her own.

Great portfolio for film memorabilia

These portfolios are exactly what I needed to preserve my collection of film lobby cards. Each portfolio holds 48 11"x14" cards, which is six films' worth at eight cards per set. The spine insert lets me identify which genre of film is represented by the cards, Yes, I obviously have no life! That aside, I am impressed with the quality of the Itoya art portfolios, which I first examined at a well-known arts and crafts chain store, but at a much higher price. The cover and binding are sturdy, they look great on my library shelf, and the sleeves seem durable. I have had to change several cards around to reorder them, and the inserts hold up well to multiple use. The one teensy complaint I have is that this is not a binder, so it's not a simple matter of popping the binder open, removing the sheets holding the cards I put in the wrong place, and putting them in the correct location. But given the much greater expense of a binder portfolio, it's worth a few extra minutes to manually move the cards around (or to figure out the correct order before I start inserting them). Incidentally, I also bought an 11" x 17" binder for my film pressbooks, and am really pleased to get them organized. BTW, I like the results of the lobby card portfolios so much I just bought 7 more for the rest of my collection.
