It still works perfect! I go from my extractor straight to this ...
I have been using this filter for two years now. It still works perfect! I go from my extractor straight to this filter, and my bucket fills up with clean, tasty honey. I have done some research on this model, and it appears that the course filter is 1000 micron and the fine 500. Since pollen is only 50-100 microns, these filters leave all the good stuff intact while filtering out the wax and bee parts. Five stars!

Happy we bought it
We had to harvest some honey that had lots of wax in it.... teeny tiny pieces. This Strainer worked wonders to help us separate the two. We really had our doubts, but now we have several quarts of beautiful honey and a bowl of mini-wax pieces that we'll let "the girls" clean up in the spring. The only draw back to this strainer is that it's hard to clean the wax out of it, but honestly, it's hard to clean wax out of much of anything.

Works Great for straining Yogurt...
I am using the strainers to strain yogurt to make thick, creamy Greek Yogurt. They work great and I don't have to worry about them tearing up The only thing that might make it better would be to put the sizing frame on the coarser mesh screen, since it does virtually all of the straining. If you do this, let me know and I will buy one immediately.

Worked well
Used item for the first time worked as described. The only problem we had was the size of the bracket to fit over the bucket it is just barely wide enough to sit on the bucket it you try to stir the wax around it slips off and start falling into the bucket.

Works for me
Bought this to strain frying oil from camping so it's easier to transport and ready to use. Actually have not used if for that yet, but did just use it to strain a cinchona/citrus "tea" (base for a tonic water syrup). Lined the bottom with coffee filters and strained into a 5 qt pot. The upper basket caught the pulp and chunks, the lower caught most of the rest, and this drains a lot faster than just using a coffee filter in a sieve or pour-over basket. Cleanup was quick and the results are clearer than previous batches. Easy to use, seems rugged.

Perfect for infused butter
Wonderful strainer! I needed o e to strain infused butter. Traditional methods of straining through cheese cloth was burning my hands. This worked perfectly with nearly 90% yield. I highly recommend this strainer for anyone making these types of products.

Don't know how we lived without this
This is awesome. Fits great on our bucket. Did a great job filtering. We don't heat or otherwise strain the honey - we just run it through this and into jars. I love the two layer design. AND it cleaned up really easily with a hose! I thought that was going to be a pain (since you don't want wax in your kitchen sink, drain, or dishwasher). It exceeded our expectations.

Worked great.
This was perfect for filtering our honey. It is fine enough to not need additional filtering. I highly recommend using COLD water to clean it! It makes the wax bits pop off easily. Then you can us your hot soapy water for final cleaning. It does tend to hold water in the rolled edges after drying off but I shook it out to avoid any potential rust problems.

Works Great
This product is easy to clean and easy to use. Make sure you secure it to the container properly. Makes filtering honey much less time consuming. It does allow smaller bits of wax and pollen to pass through. Some might want to use a finer mesh/strainer before final bottling. I however, am very pleased.

a great chjoice for your honey strainer needs
very happy with the results of this strainer set. the mesh is fine enough to pull out all of the wax, bee body parts, and other small debris, but didn't clog up after we ran 50 pounds of honey through it. it worked fine and strained our honey better than our previous single strainer (as expected).
