Quality and comfortable pillow!!

Recently I have been having some neck issues, i would wake in the middle of the night or in the morning with such a stiff neck and headache because of either how I slept or my pillow. I was having a dull headache for weeks so I went to see a chiropractor and had a few adjustment and it did help but I would still wake up with a stiff neck at times. So I started research pillow brands that were good for side sleepers. I was at that time using a good quality down pillow. I purchased the “My Pillow” which but really I didn’t like it and my neck still hurt. Plus it is quite lumpy and pricey. So reading an article on the best pillows I came across the Coop pillow and read the reviews and desided to give it a try! I received this pillow in 2 days from amazon and when I opened it was impressed with the softness feel of the pillow. I did have to remove some of the memory foam because it was to high for my neck to lay in correct position. But that was an easy process. I was thinking this is going to be like all the other pillows I have tried but was truly different. It was very comfortable and my neck stayed in correct alignment all night. I have been using this new pillow for about 2 weeks and I wake up with no neck pain or headache. I would recommend this pillow for anyone that wants a good support pillow. I like the video they had online to show you how to adjust your pillow for the position you sleep in. I love this pillow and would not be with out it!

Wonderful

This pillow is amazing. However, the customer service is even more so! We have had these pillows for a couple of years, and my wife's started to break down. Turns out we had the first generation model. Customer service was quick to replace this for us (both) at no additional charge. I would say if you want a great nights sleep, and excellent customer service, choose this pillow. I can't say enough a bout how happy I am with their customer service.

You can make this pillow just right

I like to snuggle a soft fluffy pillow but need some serious support for a bad neck. Based on the reviews and some research it seemed like this pillow could be the best of both worlds. I doubted it, but you can never have enough horrible pillows for the guest room so why not try it? The pillow came all squished down and I popped it in the dryer like the instructions said and presto! Out came a huge fluffy pillow. First night - I slept on it just like it came out of the dryer. I am mainly a side sleeper with lots of tossing and turning. Fell asleep fast but woke up with a sore neck. This pillow is too tall. Second night - took out two gallon zip lock bags of stuffing. Very easy to access filling and got it out without making a mess. Put it back in the dryer to redistribute stuffing. Fell asleep fast but woke up with a really sore neck again, which is normal for me. Went to work covered in tiger balm patches and popping Advil. This pillow is too flat. Third night - put back 1 gallon of stuffing previously removed. Back in the dryer. Asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. Woke up the next morning without neck pain. None. Not even a little. This pillow is just right. Every night since - pain free. I don't toss and turn nearly as much so my head creates a flat spot after a few nights Putting it back in the dryer once a week takes care of that. With the money I am saving on pain remedies the pillow has more than paid for itself. If you wake up with a sore neck a lot and are willing to spend a couple of nights getting it just right this might be the pillow you have been searching for.

Even by my own admission I am the world's fussiest pillow seeker. I've tried solid memory foam, down type, foam, , , , , you name it I've tried it. So when I said that I was going to order the Shredded Memory Foam by Coop Home Goods my wife said, "Here we go again! Where are you going to store this one? Or is it going back a day after it arrives?" Well..... I have to admit that I thought she was probably exactly correct. But..... the reviews were so so good about this pillow. I had to give it a try. It arrived and I've used it for about 2 weeks now. I've got to tell you that it's BY FAR the most comfortable pillow that I have ever owned . . . . and I've tried them all! We just got back from an overnight trip and I brought the pillow along. I can generally never sleep in a hotel when I am away. But....with my new pillow I slept like a log. What a gift ! I had my daughter and son try it and they are going to put one on their Amazon Wish List. So.....I guess that I'll be getting a few more of them soon. LOL. I'm really glad to do it because I want them to be as comfortable as I am now. Even my wife admits that it's a great pillow. As for the smell that people describe...... I really never detected it at all. Nor did my wife. I did put it in the dryer for about a half hour when it arrived to poof it up. I added a dryer sheet but not sure if I even really needed to do that. I LOVE my new pillow!

Perfect for side sleepers with neck pain

I purchased the Coop pillow a but over a month ago and wanted to try it out before submitting a review. This is by far the best pillow I've bought in years. The ability to remove the foam to my satisfaction was the key element for purchasing. In addition, to be able to wash the cover and the inner liner far exceeds other products. I tossed the pillow into the dryer when it arrived, fluffed up after 10 minutes, and there was no odor before tossing in the dryer. Sleep: having rods & screws in my neck along with disc disease, it was always a challenge for me to find pillows as I have to adjust my neck, shoulders and head in order to alleviate pain. Too many times I would wake in pain and have to adjust the angle or height of my pillows. With this pillow, so far, I have slept through the night. That to me is well worth the cost alone. Comfort: I did watch the informative video which was very helpful as the pillow's loft was a bit high for me. Easy to remove and save the filling if needed in the future. I'm a 'head sweater' and have tried every cooling pillow on the market. I came to the conclusion after spending so much money, there is no pillow that will remain cool through the night. But, although this isn't a 'cooling' pillow, the night sweats are bearable and no longer is my sleep disrupted because of a pillow being soaked. Cost: well worth the price for me. Having the ability to clean the outer and inner liner is essential as a head sweater. I previously purchased Coop's main bamboo competitor's pillow and it did not perform like Coop's pillow. I did not like having huge clumps of hard foam clumps digging into my face (side sleeper) and my head. Coop's pillow is very lightweight compared to what felt like turning 10 pounds of foam in the middle of the night. I was constantly tossing that pillow over and over again throughout the night. Although the competitor states it can be washed, I didn't want to wash it for fear the foam would disintegrate, plus there is no cover to wash. That pillow was hot and too heavy. I spent big bucks on two kings that lasted less than one year. Coop's customer service is excellent as they followed up with me to see if I was pleased and to ask if I had any questions. Overall, I really didn't have huge expectations for any pillow, but Coop's is about as perfect of a pillow as one can buy, especially if you have neck and back problems.

Stomach sleepers - Remove 1/3 filling, and ENJOY a painless sleep!

Happy stomach sleeper! When I first opened it, I didn't read the instructions and it expanded to a huge size and I thought: WTF? I slept on it like that one night, and then realized it says REMOVE 1/3 OF MATERIAL FOR STOMACH SLEEPING. Haha, oops! I did that and haven't had a sore neck once. I used to wake up every morning with a tweak in my neck and couldn't fully turn my head. Now, completely resolved. And all it took was 1 NIGHT'S SLEEP! I'm so happy I am thinking of buying one for my husband and kids, too! Side note: smells really bad. Most pillows do. I just hate that and feel like I have to air it out without a pillow case for a while to off-gas the contents. Yuck!

Eureka!!!!

Finally, I’ve found the perfect pillow! Supportive and cool. I have spent so many years and so much money trying every type of pillow. I am a side sleeper who desires a great deal of support. I even tried expensive memory foam pillows, but they just condensed, providing no support. They also became very warm. I was constantly rearranging and flipping my pillow every which way. Because this pillow has pieces of memory foam, instead of a solid piece, it does not condense and it is airy, providing air flow, keeping it cool. In addition, included with the pillow is a bag of additional filling. Therefore, this pillow is customizable. Add more, take some out. You decide. Personally, I filled mine up making it very big and firm. Now I sleep through the night, cool and comfortably. Finally. My highest recommendation! Thank you. <3

Best Pillow Ever...Big People, Read This

OK, first off, I'm no fanboy, I'm just giving the best opinion I can give and I'll do it in segments here. First off, the shipping, the timely arrival, blah blah blah, who cares, but that is still rated at 5 stars. Arrived and looked as described. I got this in a box, pulled it out, let it breathe, tossed it on the bed and did other stuff and came back to a MAN PILLOW. I am a side sleeper "mainly". If you are anything like me, I had problems with taking regular pillows and bunching them up, sleeping on them folded in half, flipping them over 100 times a night because I made a bit of a flat spot on one side, etc. You know what I'm saying. So let me explain how this one works and how it's better regardless of what kind of sleeper you are. First off, don't be an idiot, read the instructions on how to create the best feel for you. It takes two seconds. Me personally, I'm a big guy...OK, I'm a fat guy and big. When I lay on my side, I like the pillow to allow my head to rest evenly in line with my back. Now, if you are a bigger person, and you have to place your right/left arm UNDER the pillow to get the lift you NEED from the pillow, you do what I do and wake up with an arm you can't feel. You may also do what I do, which is to roll over using my mass and taking my other arm to pull it back over my body until the tingling allows me to move my fingers again. This pillow stops that. It has lift, no really, it has LIFT baby. and it's not rock hard lift. The best way to explain it is like an adjustable cloud. It's very nice and soft and conforming, but without your head sinking below sea level to get that feel. Your head stays UP and with the way you can adjust this pillow, you can have basically any height you want. So, if you are a side sleeper, back sleeper, face sleeper that ends up on your elbows while breaking your back (yes, I've done this too), couch sleeper, lazy boy sleeper, you NEED this pillow. I've tried hundreds and spent literally thousands on pillows, but this is THE ONE.

Highly recommended from someone who could not find a comfortable pillow and has chronic neck pain/headaches

I purchased this pillow a week ago after starting to really struggle again with neck pain and headaches (I purchased an expensive down pillow about 6 months ago that just wasn't holding up through the night). I can't tell you how many pillows I have purchased in store and returned because it only made me worse. I'm a side sleeper but most of the pillows are way too high. I also sleep with my arm under my head, which I now realize is because I don't have the proper support. I did a lot of reading online and this pillow was recommended on a couple of websites along with very good reviews in Amazon. I took a gamble on it (and also purchased another pillow from My Pillow to try just in case). When I took the My Pillow out, I immediately packed it back up, it was way too thin (I got the yellow one per it's recommendation) and it didn't feel like it would be very supportive. I unpacked this one and followed the directions by throwing it in the dryer on low for 2 hours with a fabric sheet and it had no smell whatsoever. I tried sleeping with it for most of the week as it came but it still felt a little too high. The filling inside is removable so I ended up doing that and I found the right height for me this way. So far, it really maintains it's shape all night. I've tried regular memory foam and they feel like I'm sleeping on concrete. This one is soft but supportive, which is what I needed. I don't even need to put my arm under the pillow anymore. I highly recommend this pillow if you have struggled to find the right match as I have. It's also great if you sleep in other positions too. I still feel comfortable on my back. Definitely give it a try!

Best pillow ever. Trust me. Why? I’m a very light sleeper and struggled with a solid, good nights sleep for years I’ve come to expect waking up in the middle of the night for no reason. The wrong bedding and wrong temperature will keep me up for hours. Princess and the pea deal here. Most pillows aren’t to my liking - I like firmness but not memory foam stiffness. I hate fluffy pillows where you just sink in. I like the density of down but I didn’t like feathers poking out. I am an EVERYTHING sleeper - not a single position but all of them. I slept with the same pillow for sixteen years because I couldn’t find a pillow that was better than my old king sided pillow that was so old the poly fill was flat but was conducive to doubling for the right support. I was emotionally attached to that pillow. No pillow could replace that pillow. My exes complained about my childhood pillow and I couldn’t care less. Until now. I was skeptical of this pillow - will spending 70 dollars truly buy me a pillow I’ll actually like? I ordered two pillows but only opened one because I fully expected to not be fond of it and return it. First day I already rejected it - it sunk in easily despite brief manual fluffing so I overfilled it within the first hour. First night it was slightly uncomfortable in the neck. Memory foam smell. Next day I remove the extra fill- I slept like a brick. When you wake up and you’re not thinking about your bedding but just the surprise that you wake up and you don’t hate your alarm is god sent. Everyday this week I’ve slept like a brick without waking up briefly to adjust my pillow. I didn’t know I was capable of this. Usually I need two to four weeks before accepting change but I had to write this review within a week because it’s godsent. Criticisms? Ever had a pillow so good you want to stay in bed? Yeah. It’s like that. Oh and my cat has claimed the other pillow because he likes it too.
