I know there are a gazillion reviews already, but I rely on reviews to make purchasing decisions so here's mine: I had been using the Speedo Ventilator Duffel Bag but it was way too big for what I needed. Bag was fine (discounting the fact that one of the strap hinges broke) but because I didn't need all the space it just flopped around and was inconvenient. This bag though is the perfect size to use at the Y pool. It holds my swim flippers, snorkel, goggles, etc. as well as a small towel and my shower items (shampoo and washcloth, etc.) But the thing I like best about this, is because of its small size I now take it with me into the pool area itself, so I have everything I need at hand and it's convenient to just reach into the bag and grab what I want. Because of the hook at the top, this acts like a backpack and is easy to hang on the pool hooks. Therefore keep in mind if you have a lot of stuff then the Duffel bag is probably a better choice, but if your items are limited then I find this to be the best choice.

I bought this bag for my daughter, who's a lifeguard, for Christmas. She loves it. It is a large size so it fits her suit, any equipment she needs and a towel perfectly. I thought I bought her a red bag, but I guess I subconsciously clicked on the hot pink bag - her favorite color and I'm so glad I did, because while the red bag would have fit the lifeguard colors, she loves the pink bag so much. I shopped around for bags for a few weeks before I turned to amazon, and this bag is such an awesome bag & value compared to anything I was seeing in stores. We are so happy with it.

This worked great for my sprint triathlon, and is much more affordable than a tri bag. It easily held a reg. sized towel, a smaller towel, wetsuit, sweatshirt/pants, and bike helmet with plenty of room to spare. (A pair of cycling shoes could easily fit.) There is a very large front zip pocket with a smaller interior pocket to stash my Tri Slide, earplugs, swim cap, 2 pair of goggles, GU's, compression socks, water bottle, and a mini first aid kit I like to bring with me. Also lots of space left over. Once I had my wetsuit on, I placed the bag at the top of my transition towel and rolled the top down to open it (it doesn't flop over). I was easily able to quickly stash my wetsuit inside at T1, keeping everything tidy and out of the way. The back pack feature was helpful as I had to walk a ways with my bike to get to the start line. I plan to use again this for my next tri.

Just got them delivered overnight and so happy with my purchase. Satisfied with quality and size. Bought it for my swimmer's swim gears for practice. We were able to fit a pair of fins, kickboard, hand paddles and pull buoy, and still have more room to fit other stuffs. If he wanted to put in his towel and jammers and swim slippers in, it would fit. But I thought it might be too much for a mesh pack to abuse. I'd rather have him bring a separate dufflebag for all stuffs for hygiene purposes. Will update review once quality gets compromised sooner than expected from a brand name Speedo. Heard this mesh pack was way better in quality, design and fit than the ones from TYR. I highly recommend this purchase as of date.

HUGE bag that fits everything you need. I use it when I go on set, pool or beach! Has a mesh pocket in front where I put my sunscreen or lipgloss. Has a middle zipper that is more secure, that's where I put my wallet, phone and keys. Then you have the big mouth opening, I have had 3 beach towels, change of clothes and bottle water when I have gone to pool. When go to set, I have put my lunch cooler, rain jacket, a pair of size 7 shoes and an umbrella. I love that I can wear on both shoulders to even out the weight.

Love this bag! I doesn't look very big in appearance but it easily holds my fins, paddles, snorkle, flip flops, bath towel and a light change of clothes all in the large compartment/mesh area. There is room to spare but I don't want to overpack it. In the zippered area, I can easily store my Aquasphere goggles in the large case they come in, my swim cap, backup goggles, my waterproof mp3 player and it's not even close to being full. There is an additional pocket inside that with a Velcro closure that I use for my phone, keys, Garmin triathlon watch, etc. Then there is a mesh pocket on the outside that I use for a travel size bottle of shampoo, baby shampoo for anti-fog, deodorant and my lock. The straps are fully adjustable as well. I live 2.5 miles from the Y and wanted to run to the Y, swim 3,000m and then run back over the weekend. I really questioned how well it would go, running with this swim bag full of stuff on my back but it worked out very well. Snug, no bouncing around, no back pain, etc. It's unorthodox to run with a swim bag on your back and especially again after the swim but this bag did the job. HIGHLY recommend it.

This bag is perfect! My daughter (6 years) just started swim team. This bag holds all she needs and then some. The main section is big enough to hold fins, kickback, goggles, swim suit, towel, shoes and a change of clothes and still has room left over. The zippered pocket is great for all her little things, shampoo, hair elastics, hair brush, etc. I love that there is even a place for a water bottle. The backpack straps are adjustable which is great because she is so small but it fits her as well as it does her teenage teammates with just a quick pull on the straps. All her teammates have these and we personalized it by embroidering her name on it. This is really a great bag! ***Update***since my initial review 3 of my daughters swim teammates have ordered this exact bag and had me embroider their name in theirs as well. It's become the latest trend at their pool. I attached a pic to show how the bag looks with a simple embroidery. I also attached a pic to show the real difference of the two lighter blues next to each other since it's hard to tell from the example pics. The bag on the left is the grotto blue the bag on the right is imperial blue.

Someone came up with the brilliant idea of sewing some simple shoulder straps and adding a few zippered pockets to a perforated laundry bag. The result is a great bag for swimmers to take to the pool. I can load up all my equipment (Towel, rash guard, goggles and swim cap), go swim, then when I am done, I can deposit all my wet gear in the breathable bag, knowing that it will reduce drying time considerably while not leaving the bag a mildew smelling mess like a normal backpack would. The zippered pouch is great for wallet, phone or anything else you need to leave in the bag while you are swimming. The mouth of the main mesh bag is wide and easily closed with a drawstring, making sure you can cram a lot of stuff in there and nothing will fall out. My only con is I wish the next version of this bag will have more reinforced shoulder straps. They feel flimsy and look like an added afterthought to the bags design. Highly recommend, I finally retired my smelly old Jansport thanks to this bag.

I ordered in insignia blue color and the bag was good quality and the color looks very nice. I was able to put inside 2 pairs of short fins, 2 set of snorking gears, 2 short sleeves rash guards, safety vest, 1 beach towels, 2 pairs of fin's socks, 3 sunscreens cream, camera waterproof cover. I went to Guadeloupe for snorkling and it was the perfact bag for this trip. My husband is 6 ft tall and as you can see on the picture it fits perfectly on him.

This is an excellent bag for items that can be exposed to weather. It breathes/dries very quickly, while having ample space and varied options for storage. I just returned from a week in the northern Manitoba wilderness, and this bag served as my crew's day bag, that is, the bag outside the dry bags, open in the canoe. In the small front mesh pouch we kept our sunscreen, bug spray and iodine water purification, and were were constantly in and out of this pouch, using it incessantly. After a week with 8 folks in and out of it, not a bit of stretch in the elastic, not a bit of wear on the cloth at the lip of the pouch, not a single pull or burr or stretch in the mesh. The zippered pouch is great for "valuables;" we used it for spare glasses and medications. It did a great job of securing both. And after both rain and a capsize, this compartment dried out in no time. The main pouch is just one big open space, and we stuffed it full with rain jackets, water bottles, maps, and more, It took everything and showed no sign of wear whatsoever. The string closure at the top and the main barrel lock performed very well and did their job throughout. The two shoulder straps and the single web loop at the back got a lot of workout in and out of the boats and at every portage, and none of them showed any weakness or wear. And on return, this thing cleaned up in no time flat, and dried completely through in less than an hour. Bottom line: whether on the swim meet circuit or in a more challenging weather environment, if you want to organize, store, carry and access all kinds of gear, this is an outstanding product. I will take this bag on float again, and will not hesitate to recommend it to others.
