Great Value

Purchased this unit two months ago after reviewing several other water boilers. Decided on this one over the Z because it has a stainless steel interior. Capacity is good, can fill the French Press for the spouse and still have plenty of water for my tea press. I also like that the sides of the unit do not get hot -- they are comfortably warm. The back side of the unit is the part that is hot, but even after leaving a plastic bag next to it (thank you very much 9 year old child) it wasn't hot enough to melt the bag after being left there a good ten minutes. Water takes approx. 35 minutes to heat, which is considerably less time than some of the other boilers on the market. I wish the unit had a timer, but considering only the most expensive Z has one, for the price, I'll buy my own timer and save the $$.
