Totally worth the reasonable price. Very easy to use, says clean with very little effort. I haven't eaten so many waffles since I don't know when. :) The instruction manual has a few recipes too, which was nice. The only thing I can critique is that the heating element doesn't go all the way out to the edge of the waffle zone, so the outer edges don't get as golden brown as I would like. But what 'evs. This one is good you will be happy with this purchase. :)

On a new diet that equates to make a lot of weight watchers waffles recently. This is the 3rd waffle iron I have tried and by far the best and the biggest as well. The mix I am using is thinner than normal waffle mix which = messier. I first tried a cheap multi purpose waffle maker we had for years and did not cook the mix well/did not know when it was done, so each half stuck to each side and ripped apart when I opened (first picture). Next I bought a cheap flip kind at local store for ~$30. Cooked great, made a huge mess with the thin mix during the flip and was impossible to clean the mess off the outside as it ran down in the cracks/seams of the metal (they are all easy to clean on the inside where the waffle cooks IMO). FInally I bought this one and it makes perfect mess free waffles (second picture). Cleans up in seconds on the inside and out. This unit also makes ~8-8.5 inch waffle. The others I tried made ~7in waffle.

When I first tried this waffle maker, I realized a few things....(1) it's incredibly well-made and solid in construction, and (2) it's EXTREMELY easy to clean! My first use, I accidentally used way too much batter, which meant a bunch started pouring out of the sides. I was frustrated because I felt it would probably be a pain to clean, but no! The outer surface is ALSO a nonstick surface, so all I had to do was wipe off the wet batter, let anything left on the waffle-maker dry, and the dried batter starts peeling away from the nonstick surface. Just a damp paper towel with a single swipe cleans it completely. Great product, super happy. Planning on getting super fat from eating all these waffles.

I love waffles and I love this waffle maker! It's just the wife and me at home and this one makes more than enough for the two of us. I appreciate that you can make your waffles more crispy or chewy with the settings so that each of us comes out happy in the end and at a fraction of the cost of some of the crazy high end models out there.

Works very well and has a sturdy, aesthetic design. Finally, a waffle maker that isn't plastic, and isn't too bulky. Also, I REALLY like that it has a comparatively minimalist design, which not only makes it more attractive, but there are not as many unwieldy crevices to try to clean out if the batter overflows. Perhaps the only three other things I might wish for from a waffle maker would be removable plates for easier cleaning, even deeper waffle pockets, and well, absolutely no plastic on it because I just hate everything plastic. Anyway, this waffle maker is the closest thing I have ever found to my dream waffle maker!

So far I love this waffle maker! The waffles are very big - takes over 1 cup of batter so I’m having to triple my recipe, which is fine because the leftovers freeze well. Only thing I’ve noticed is that since it takes so much batter, if you end up with only a little left and only fill one section of the well, it doesn’t cook right. It must mess with the sensor. Otherwise they come out great.

Perfect waffles from the very first use. NO sticking, no messy clean up. I see some people complaining about sticking... just add that 1 - 2 tablespoons of oil to your batter and you are good to go every time! I was undecided on selection after having to finally discard my 28 year old waffle iron (which was PERFECT) - how to replace something I've had that long. This waffler is so good I will never look back and miss my old waffler again!

Love Cuisinart in general. Hoping this lasts as long as my cheaper brand before it lasted. This one doesn't flip over which is what I had before. But I think that flipping motion caused it to break eventually so I'm happy to try this instead. Lid fits a little loosely in order to be able to open and close easily. Just be careful not to drop the lid etc. Cleaning is pretty easy, everything wipes off all surfaces, including overflowed mix on the sides. I use setting 3 and it is perfect. Takes a few minutes to warm up but then it beeps when ready to use and beeps when each waffle is done. Only issue with cleaning is you really can't use soap inside because you can't submerge it of course. On my old waffle maker I used spray oil which left it sticky but I was able to clean it off. On this one I am just wiping cooking oil on with paper towel, a very light coating which then cleans off easily. So far so good!

So happy we decided on this one. It cooks waffles perfectly, and the lights telling you when the temperature is ready to add the batter, and the audible signal when the waffle is done are very nice to have. It stores well, too, as it has small legs allowing it to be stored standing on its side.

I wanted a waffle iron that was easy to use and this one really is. It chimes or buzzes when it ready for the waffle batter and it buzzes again when its reached the desired cooked state. All you have to do is set the dial to the crispness you want and wait for it to cook. We are very happy with this waffle iron, 1st for me its easy and 2nd my husband likes the way its crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
