compact USB-to-ethernet adapter
Got this for the Fire TV stick to work through fireCable OTG Adapter (Compatible with fireCable Ethernet Adapter for Connecting Fire TV Stick to Ethernet cable) (OTG Adapter) and the combo does its job perfectly -- wired connection for the Fire TV.

Just what I needed to rescue an upgraded Dell Venue
I had wanted to upgrade a Dell Venue 11 Pro from Windows 8.1 to 10. I was told by Dell support that it was "a go". Unfortunately, although the upgrade was "successful", the wifi adapter driver was enabled but did not work. I couldn't connect to the web! I downloaded updates to the device on my laptop but was unsuccessful in installing them on the Venue. Lightbulb moment! ... purchase an Ethernet/USB adapter. Yours fit the bill. Once I was hardwired into the Internet, I was able to go to Dell and discover that there was a BIOS update. Successfully downloaded and installed the update and upon reboot, the Dell Venue connected immediately via wifi. SUCCESS! Thank you.

Great for on-site service calls.
Great for on-site service calls. I often have to format PCs in the field. This is very handy because the Windows 7 64 bit driver is embedded in the device itself. Simple plug it in and the driver install application pops up. Click install driver and re-boot the PC and you are good to go. Every Technician needs to have this in their tool box. You can use this device to temporarily gain web access on a freshly installed Windows PC to download updates and drivers. At $ 10.00 bucks it is a no brainer. Extremely happy with my purchase.

Works great
Works perfectly. Rugged. This is the perfect quick fix when you need to add more cabled LAN connections to a computer. I've used it as a workaround for laptops with broken Ethernet ports and also to add a 2nd LAN port to a workstation so that I could connect to 2 LANs at once. It's USB 2.0 and 10/100, not USB 3.0 and Gigabit but it works great for what it is. My USB 3 / Gigabit version (from another vendor) had occasional problems auto-connecting to 10/100 devices in the lab. This one works every time.

Great Customer Service! Works for everything except what I bought it for (Nintendo Switch)
I am not giving the product itself a 5 star review, but more the company/seller. The product did not work for the reason I bought it which was the Nintendo Switch. I repeat this product DOES NOT WORK for the Nintendo Switch, but it does work for everything else I tried it work. So it is a good product overall, but it just did not work for the reason I bought it. However the seller was awesome and gave no issues on refunding the money spent on the item. Again, product works perfectly for everything I tried for except what I bought it for and the customer service was awesome!

Plug and Play - works great
Works great - replaces 10/100 Fast Ethernet card board in computer. Had Ethernet card go bad in a fairly new computer. Rather than purchasing a new card and pulling the old one, I tried to plug this one in and see it would work. It worked great and didn't require a complex set up or even removal of the old card. Plug and Play as expected. Been using for over 2 months now ... no problems. My WiFi and modem are set up on this computer and it works flawlessly.

Great and inexpensive solution
Works Great. This is a nice work around for a wired connection for the fire stick (2nd editon only I’m told). We used it on the latest edition fire stick. This along with a Micro usb host connector allows for the addition of Ethernet and any other usb connection (e.g. keyboard) to the fire stick.

Great little USB to Ethernet Adapter, especially for Windows devices with no built-in ethernet.
I've deployed roughly 60-70 of these at this point, primarily with Lenovo Thinkpad Yogas and Microsoft Surface Pro units, and they've worked like a charm, every time. Using it with Windows 7, 8 and 10, it's truly been plug-and-play, with driver recognition and installation taking seconds (no having to wait for Windows update to do its thing, no scouring through sparsely-documented websites looking for obscure drivers when Windows update finds no suitable drivers). Speeds seem in-line with any 10/100 adapter, even when downloading over a gig of Microsoft updates. Build quality is solid for a $10 device, and I like the green connection LED. All-in-all, if you need a wired ethernet adapter for any of the ever-growing number of tablets, ultraportable and convertible tablet devices that are on the market, the Cable Matters USB 2.0 10/100 ethernet adapter will do the job without breaking the bank.

A perfect little USB 2.0 to 10/100 Fast Ethernet hookup
A perfect little USB 2.0 to 10/100 Fast Ethernet hookup. It just works, what else can I say. I at first bought this for a pc but then decided to use it on the Mac Mini. The pc's interface wasn't capable of the higher speed but the Mac was so it was an improvement for it. This also works for the wife's Chrome book which doesn't have an ethernet port. I suppose that's why these things are manufactured for the most part. Just get it, it works. Just make sure and check your specs on your computer to make sure it has the 10/100 interface. Anything less and you won't notice an improvement in speed. If you just need the interface to get on the net, that's fine for that also.

These are fantastic.
These are fantastic. They have a mini CDROM mount that pops up from a chip on the device which you can tap in the drivers. Works 100 percent of the time on any machine I have tried it on. NO one else does this. I have a mountain of these little USB adaptors with no drivers. When a machine doesn't have any network connection, I know this will always work.
