Saved Myself $200.00 DIY
Great product with a couple utube videos and some reading I was able to replace my single pole setup with two run Capacitor to a this dual run. Works like a charm thank you

Fixed our AC problem right away.
I did some research on YouTube and found the capacitor was the problem on our 8 year old unit (they said they last 5-7 years anyway so it was due) . After 3 nights with no AC in 104 degree heat, it came. I installed it and in minutes it was back.

Easy fix for outside compressor and fan not coming on. Easy to install.
Watched YouTube video on how to test for problem with run capacitor and how to install. Easy to discharge and remove old capacitor, simple to unclip wiring and attach to new capacitor. I did take picture of old wiring connection before removing. Only problem that I had was that new capacitor was much smaller than old capacitor so I had to modify mounting strap. Heat pump starting shortly after re-energizing system; just took a few minutes for capacitor to fully charge before fan and compressor started.

Well Made
Purchased this cap to replace one that had gone bad on my 3 ton A/C. It was very easy to install and got the unit operating again. Was the same dimensions as the old cap.

Saved me on the weekend
Our AC unit went out on a Saturday night, and of course, all of the AC repair shops and supply shops were closed until Monday. Did my due diligence and found this bad boy with next day shipping. I was initially looking for a capacitor to replace #HC98KA046 (which Genteq has another product on Amazon with this in the title). Upon further review, they are the same capacitor, so I took a small chance and went through with the purchase. In my case, on a Payne unit, the capacitor is smaller in diameter than my old one, so I had to use some foam tubing to mount it for now, but I'm glad to have cool air running through my home again.

Replacement capacitor - works perfectly
Replacement for bad capacitor for our AC unit... worked perfectly, took me all of 5 minutes to install. If you replace one yourself, be sure to know how to discharge your old capacitor - youtube is very helpful - if you don't discharge it, it could kill you!

It worked like the original and arrived first and fast.
I actually ordered this and another capacitor reviewed above to see which one got to me first, I used this one since it won the race but then changed to the Goodman replacement which was fatter and closer to the original OEM component keeping this one as a ''Running Spare'' Good product that worked well function wise but was a narrow diameter despite its rating being OK for use it also required modifying the metal strap that secures it to the condensing unit.

so I was happy to find this part on Amazon--it fit right in ...
When our air conditioner broke in the middle of summer, I was quoted a hefty price to repair the capacitor, so I was happy to find this part on Amazon--it fit right in an VIOLA! a fabulous fix for a fraction of the price! I bought the product several months ago and it's been running like a champ and my electric bill is lower. How did that happen? No complaints on this end. Kudos to the seller! UPDATE: Still working with no problems (second season).

it's a sure sign the start capacitor is bad or going bad
Save yourself a lot of $$$. When your lights dim as your heat pump cycles on, it's a sure sign the start capacitor is bad or going bad. Remove power from the heat pump (there's a little pull-out "circuit breaker" where the heat pump is located), open the access panel (usually two hex head screws) and look at the capacitor to determine its specs. Replace the access panel, plug in the "circuit breaker", order the capacitor and wait a few days. After receiving the new capacitor, turn off your thermostat, go back outside, remove the "circuit breaker", open the access panel, note which colored wire goes where on the capacitor. Using RUBBER HANDLED pliers, remove the wires from the old capacitor and do NOT short between the terminals of the old capacitor. Remove the old capacitor from its clamp, and insert the new capacitor. Using the RUBBER HANDLED pliers, attached the colored wires to the new capacitor's terminals, replace the access panel, plug in the "circuit breaker". Carefully put the old capacitor into a large plastic baggie to protect the terminals from shorting, and dispose of it in an outside garbage container (not inside!) in case it shorts out and throws some sparks. For the cost of <$30 you've avoided at least a $130 service call.

Arrive ahead of time, good quality product
I ordered this dual capacitor to replace my bad Goodman capacitor, which caused compressor to stop working. I order on Thursday evening, it arrived on Saturday morning. After I installed the new capacitor, the compressor immediately went back to work, and room temperature dropped from 84 dF to 72 dF in 5-6 hours.
