Dry and Shine!

Since moving to another state (away from Southern California), full service car washes are few and far between. I broke down and used one of those "drive thru" washes that are attached to the gas station and, to my surprise, found it to be pretty effective. The only thing is that my car is still fairly wet when I leave. I got these to help with maintenance of my new car and, wow! I love how absorbent they are! A few swipes and my care is dried and shiny! I need to get another set or two to have on hand for my kitchen appliances, etc. GREAT value!

It really works!

Purchased these a few months ago and wanted to try on different surfaces before giving it a adequate review. I LOVE them I have been trying everything to not have streaks on my appliances, mirrors and windows oh and on my car, this works beyond my wildest dreams (I know sad) you might ask why did it take so long for me to find. I retired 2 yrs ago and started cleaning my house myself (had cleaning people prior) I was so frustrated till I found these.

I almost bought the Clean Mama set ( love that pretty blue ), but I needed to save money with all the cleaning supplies I'm buying right now. These came in and I was pleasantly surprised by the thick substantial fabric on these microfiber towels. I have another set from amazon in blue / white / yellow that I'm using for my bathroom cleaning and this set is for my dusting basket and kitchen use. These are the best quality for price. The size is nice and big too so I can accomplish all the cleaning I need to with one of these vs multiple towels from the other set as they are much smaller and thinner.

Thick and large, absorb very well

I almost got fooled to buy some larger count of AmazonBasics Microfiber cleaning cloths because these ones are apparently only sold as add ons. Then I noticed that the size was not the same. These ones are very large and very thick and a true pleasure to use. 16"x24" is quite a lot and allows you to fold them in 4 and get a very nice experience while drying my car. I learned a trick which is to get one slightly damp prior use to absorb the most of the humidity and the second one for the finishing touch. It seems that microfiber is not that good at absorbing water when very dry. That trick worked well with one damp in on hand and the drier one in the other. They are washable in machine (or by hand). They look so good that I am reluctant on using them for any part of my car that is hard to wash (like the wheels) or may damage them. For these parts, I use some lesser microfiber cloths I also have. 5 stars.

Any microfiber towel attracts dirt like no other

No frills, but that's what you pay for. A simple and basic microfiber towel. I purchased these because I don't understand why you'd buy the small version, which soaks full of water in two seconds while you are washing your car (because its just so small). WARNING: Any microfiber towel attracts dirt like no other. If you drop it onto the ground, you have to painfully pick out each bit of debris that it collected, because washing them won't get the debris out. So I keep my microfiber towels in a sealed box or bag while i'm not using them, and I am careful to never drop them on the ground.

In Love

I purchased these thinking they were much smaller, and wanted to use them to clean my glasses. They arrived and were much larger than I expected, my fault. I figured I would just clean my boat with them but instead kept them at my desk and cleaned my glasses with them a couple times. I fell in love. They do the job so effortlessly. The cloth is very soft and plush. It removes the grime from my eye glasses in a single pass. I have considered cutting them down a bit, but for now I am enjoying them as they are. These Microfiber cleaning cloths are excellent if not a bit big for cleaning eyeglasses. They would also be excellent for cleaning windows or vehicle washing and detailing. Dusting would be a breeze, there is little that this towel would not be well adapted for.

Very happy with these!

These are great rags. I use them in my kitchen. However, keep in mind that are quite large like a large dish towel. So since I use them for like washing dishes, counter tops, etc then I have found they would be nice to have smaller but it hasn't been an issue. I love using them on my granite countertops!! After several months of using these they started accumulating a bad smell, even after soaking and washing them in vinegar and laundry soap. I also always hang dry my rags when I set them in my laundry room before washing. It's a rule I've done my whole life just to help eliminate the risk of rage stinking and going moldy before going through the wash. I would still highly recommend these rags because most any rag is going to wear out over time or start smelling. Just keep in mind these are about the size of a large dish towel not the size of a dish rag.

Great, wait for low price

These are great. I use them on my car for various things, usually to dry the car after a wash. Wait until they are lower in price, this set of 3 should occasionally drop down to the $3 range. The first time I bought a pack they were up at $6. The prices on a lot of AmazonBasics products fluctuate a lot. Just add them to your list and keep an eye on them.

Got these to clean glasses, ended up doing a lot more

Let me start off by saying I wasn't expecting much for such a low price. My experience with microfiber cloth has been less than stellar as is, and that was with more expensive products. In fact, I fully expected to have to toss them out or find uses other than I intended. However, upon my very first use I fell in love with them almost immediately. Not only did these clean my glasses, they cleaned them better than my favourite premium cleaning cloth. With my other cloths, I needed multiple passes over the lenses to get every bit of oil or debris, often making more smudges as I tried until finally getting them perfect. With these, I only need a single pass and they come out pristine. I ended up tossing my other cloths in favour of these, and cut up one of the cloths into several smaller squares so I can fit them easily in my pocket for use at work. I am also using another for a face and hand towel, and in to time at all my face is completely dry as well as my hair and hands. My only complaint in this regard is that these cloths have the dreaded skin catching thing going on, which you don't see with towels designed for use with skin. You get used to it though, and you won't regret it. The third cloth I am using on my monitors, and there was no surprise in their efficacy there too. I barely even need to spray them with any cleaners, the cloth is that good. I cannot speak for the longevity of these cloths quite yet as I am only on the first week of use, but I am likely going to buy more if ever I need to replace them. Even after cutting them into squares and running those through a heavy cycle in the washer and dryer (partly by accident), the cut squares are still exactly the same as they had been when I first cut them. One thing to note is that if you do end up cutting them as I did, you will find small particles on the scissors or surface you cut them on. Very small price to pay for a very worthwhile endeavor.
