No mineral buildup.

This is my first time using Humidifier Demineralization Cartridges as this is my first ultrasonic humidifier. The cartridge has been in use for approximately 30 days. I have not noticed any buildup in water tanks or any white dust on furniture. So the cartridge must be performing as expected.

Good value

Upon first thinking, I felt as though the price was a little steep, but after using the first filter cartridge and reading the instructions, it is only necessary to change every 30-40 refills. I usually can get about a week out of my water (running for about 6-8 hours a night) so the 4-pack is definitely going to last a couple years at least. Brings me peace of mind to know the water/vapor I am breathing all night to feel healthier is hopefully actually cleaner now!

A must for any ultrsonic, cool mist humidifiers

One came with my humidifier last year and I had a terrible time finding replacements locally. Because it makes a huge difference eliminating "white dust," I was thrilled to find it on Amazon.

Out of the box usage.

These homedics cartridges were purchased for use with the Walgreen's Dual tank humidifier, which I purchased on Amazon. It is out of stock now, but it is the end of season. The dominant complaint in reviews was the white dust and difficulty cleaning the humidifier due to calcification...Not a problem if you pop one of the cartridges in each tank..No sign of white dust, nor of calcification. These work like a gem. The Walgreen's dual tank humidifier is perfection with these gems. It was a steal on Amazon and and the added expense for 4-5 boxes of cartridges is about the same as new filters, cleansers, soaks, etc, for any other humidifier. BTW- the cost was slightly less than a major brick and mortar store I purchased the first cartridges at. Even with s/h it was a wash.

I've been using these in cool mist humidifier for a few weeks now and the mineral dust is greatly reduced!

I have repeatedly reordered and used this item for 3 plus years. It definitely is worth its value. There are three in a packet and they last for 30 to 40 refills on my Homedics humidifier.

These really work!

We had white dust appearing all of the room with our humidifier. Not with these! They do exactly what they say they will do. As soon as I see the white dust appearing, I change the cartridge. We will always have these in the house now.
