Excellent product and good price ,,very useful tool it's very effective . I will definitely recommend this battery tester. Very easy to use and thanks for the seller for the fast shipping it cames so quick :)

This little gadget is simple to use. And, the direction visuals are simple to follow. Very helpful pictures Biggest pluses: Simplicity. Connect the tester and read the chart if it's not memorized Took longer to get the device outta the box then it did to use Granted, as some have pointed out, the person who wrote the directions hasn't mastered English grammar Really, who cares if the device works?! Not me Bought this to help when I bring my motorcycle battery in the house when not riding for more than a week or two. Especially, in a climate that could requires longer periods of time without riding. Saving hundred's of year not storing the bike. Plus, can ride year round without requiring a new battery when not riding on extreme cold days. Like, under 25 degrees and or similar windchill. Not even my battery operated gloves wanna gear up at this temp This Cartman 12V tester is helping me save money by being able to monitor the battery as needed

I never want to get stranded again. Every so often, I like to ensure my battery is still up to snuff, as each time I buy a new one, I never remember to mark down the day/year or whatever, that will help me guage on how long it will last. I have twice been stranded in the middle of nowhere awaiting a jump from a kind family member. I hope to never have to be in that position again. Being prepared with this product, I hopefully will have a good idea on when to expect a battery to fail me!

Works like a charm, so glad I have this now. I own a 1800watt amp that powers 2 14” subwoofers, which I installed. I also own a 1998 which has an old stock head unit(without a remote cable input). This means I had to bypass any remote control (whether the amp turns on and off with the ignition of the car) by connecting directly to the power supply and installing a toggle switch near the driver side. If your brain isn’t as fried as my battery gets when I forget to turn the toggle switch off for days, then you get the idea. I’ve gone through too many batteries and been late to work too many times just because I wanted to bump the night before. Anyways, now that I have this small tester, I can evaluate whether or not my alternator is bad, if the battery is truly dead or if it holds a charge. Thank you so much and stay full!

Was very impressed with the quality for the price it works exactly how they say I own 5 personal vehicles and own a car lot and have used it quite a bit lately due to the temperature outside fluctuating so much and trying to keep track of a bunch of batteries and it is the perfect thing for just somebody who has an older vehicle or like me you know and you own you know 12.25 cars at one time that's a lot easier than getting my diagnostic computer out and going through that when you can just sent that to your battery and lights up simple to read and for under $10 you know I would definitely say it's worth 5 * what you pay for it I mean I've got mine wet and stuff great product for the price

This device is small but it does exactly what it needs to do! Tried it on my 2008 Dodge Avenger SE (had problems starting), 2003 Ford Windstar SE and a 1998 Ford F-150 v6 to test out the strength of the battery as well as the alternator. This tester saved me from buying a new starter on my Dodge and definitely need to invest on a new battery. The only problem I had was the size of the clamps, slightly too small for the actually nuts on the battery but putting them on the screw works just as well or you could swap the clamps for a bigger set. Would definitely recommend especially if you have starting problems and cannot diagnose whether it is the starter or the battery or both! Or just needs a recharge.

I have a '79 Ford, that I store in the winters. This device is a great way for me to check the status of the battery, and the alternator, while I keep it in storage. For this price, it's a great deal. It lets me know if the battery needs charging, and it saved me from buying a new alternator when the voltage regulator failed. Not a complex device, but just enough to be useful.

This thing works great! IDK what the other reviews were complaining about. I used it before and after i changed out my bad alternator and battery and it not only fit on my battery like jumper cables but it works great and is easy to read. It fits in my glovebox and now i never have to second guess if my battery or alternator are working and or fully changed. It is a pretty neat little gadget to have. also it saved me a lot of money because i didn't have to take my car to a shop for them to tell me what was wrong. 5 stars all the way!

Nice 12V battery tester. Does what you need it to do, report on your battery health. Clamped it on to find the battery was getting low. I replaced the battery the next day. The tester is accurate and can be kept in the glove box or console. I intend to have one in each car which may prevent being stuck on the road with a dead battery. When it's fifteen below, knowing the battery is in good condition is helpful. It can also give you information on the alternator, which helps. Nice product, nice price, with a five star rating *****!

I frequently test car batteries at our small dealership prior to charging them with a battery charger. I was looking for a cheap and easy method to quickly test battery charge levels and potential alternator issues. The schumacher battery charger I have has a test/charge meter but it is a complete joke. I've been using this little tester for a few days now and it works great. I've found it to be fairly accurate for a general reading. There is another unit similar to this one by Pulse Tech but I decided to jump on this one because of the lower price and I like that this one comes with high quality clamps. The others in this price range only have needle/pointy type receptacles that are less convenient when you need your hands to be free. I also don't like coiled type cords because I've had bad luck with them beginning to fray and lose connection. This tester doesn't tell you the percentage of the battery level as seen in the picture- only a low, mid and full. I'm assuming that low is ~25% middle is ~50% and full is ~75% charge and above. Thats my only gripe with it- the instructions dont tell you what the levels are and I'm assuming a charge of 72% for example would light up as "middle". The instructions are poorly written in "Engrish", they could be a little clearer. For alternator testing, I tested a Lexus SC400 with a brand new battery that was known to have a bad alternator. You rev the car up to 2000+ rpm and connect the clamps to your battery. The tester showed the alternator as faulty so I can confirm it works. I obviously wouldnt put my complete trust in this unit to diagnose everything since it's usually not as cut and dry, but it will lead you in the right direction. For the price, you can't go wrong. Build quality is decent and its no frills.
