Holds Down The Fort
We have been using a shade tent at Reddington Beach, FL for years. When we do, wind is unpredictale. There may be no wind at 2pm, but then high gusts an hour later. We have used tent stakes (included with tent), dog stakes (screw into ground and attach leash) and plastic grocery bags filled with sand. None compare to these weight bags. This year (2018) we had 3 shade tents set up side by side. One was anchored by the included stakes, another used dog stakes. Our (10x10) was held by 4 Eurmax Weight Bags 3/4 filled with sand. We attached one bag to each tent leg (4). My guess is that 3/4 filled they were 30 pounds each (we bought the small version bag. The large one could be filled heavier.) We were at the beach 4 days. Each day, at some point, the wind picked up. Our tent stood like a fortress. The canvas canopy was flapping, but the tent held firm. Not so with the 2 other tents. The one with the included stakes began to lift off the sand and had to be held down. They folded it and put it away. The dog stake tent also started to lift and the dog stakes were replaced by sand filled grocery bags. It then held, but still moved. Four people sat at the tent legs and held on to them to add weight. Our tent? It was a rock. No wind lift. Another plus: We filled the bags the first day and did not empty them. At the end of the day I carried them to the room and put them in the closet. Ready for the next day. Emptied them when we left. The other tents? The included stake tent did not come back out (back in the car). The dog stake tent used the plastic grocery bags. They split if carried, so they had to be replaced daily. Plus, no way to make them heavy. Bottom line: The bags are excellent. Well made and heavy. They hold down the fort. One More Plus: Like I said, no need to empty them. Keep them filled all week. At day’s end, carry all four back to your room at one time. 120 pounds of sand. It’s a nice little workout and you may impress wife, which makes for a happy life.🙂

Amazing Quality
Amazing quality and great price. The bags are quite big and can take a lot of sand to fill depending on how many you have. They have vinyl inserts to prevent sand from coming out, which is great. They also have a lot of straps and string velcro to keep everything tied and on the ground.

Worked well to secure our Roof Deck Gazebo...
We needed to secure one of the legs on a gazebo on our common roof deck. Two of these weight bags tied together with some additional velcro did the trick. I filled them up with All Purpose Gravel from our local building store.

BEST WEIGHT BAGS on Amazon, Amazing Price, High Quality, Great for Canopy Tent
The bags are made of sturdier material, well structured, can be used any where. The adjustable belt makes them useful for different sizes of poles, wrap tightly. Four bags in a set, so you can hold the 4 legs of the canopy steadily. Sand and rocks are good materials to be filled in the bags as I think. But leaking of sand was exactly what I worried about. So I tried to tear it for testing, but failed, the thread was very strong. The design for the opening of the bag is very interesting. You have to fold the velcro(thorn side) on the opening twice and then attach onto the hair side. Then sand can never leak out. Really great job! I like these bags, the quality exceeded my expectations, price is also very good. I will buy again and recommend it to anyone who need weight bags for outdoor living items.

Excellent Product, 30#/bag with sand
Excellent product. Sturdy built-in carrying handles, hook-loop closure at tops of the 2-tubes/bag function well. Put 30# sand into each bag (2-cylinders/bag). Placed a garbage bag into cylinder prior to sand to keep the sand dry. Sept-2017; 2-years on and still going strong! Held canopy down even during a thunderstorm which tore the canopy. And now the price is much less...an even bigger bargan.

These weight bags are very sturdy, amazing and held the tents down even with ...
I purchased 3 sets of these. - 2 for my canopies (10x10 and 12x12) - 1 for my mother in law (13x13) We purchased these right before camp and was nervous that it wouldn't get here in time however we got it just in time. We got the kids to run down to the beach and fill these bags with sand. These weight bags are very sturdy, amazing and held the tents down even with the wind and rain blowing like crazy. I will 100% recommend these bags to anyone who wants to make sure their canopies stay on the ground and in one piece. Thank you! E.Vang

Just what I was looking for. Work very well.
I filled reclosable, quart sized bags with sand and then put in these bags. This helps keep the sand from working its way out. There is a nice fold over at the top with Velcro. Each bag will hold approx. 25lbs. I have not had a problem with them so far. I do try to take care not to toss them around, as anything with 25lbs. inside is bound to start splitting the seams eventually. They Velcro nicely around the legs (nice, wide strap), and I use a bungee cord from the top loop of the bag to go up to the top of the canopy for added protection. Bags look well made, with thick cloth. I would definitely purchase this again. Glad I purchased these. * * * * 6/3/2016 I am so glad that I put the sand into reclosable plastic zip bags. When it rains, the sand is not absorbing all the water, just the bag. All I have to do is let the Eurmax bag dry out. The Eurmax weight bags are still going strong, have not noticed any split seams. (I still am careful not to drop or toss these). I have had some really windy days and with the bungee cord, the weights kept the canopy in place.

Highly satisfied after first week of use at annual event
After extensive research, I bought 3 sets of the Eurmax weight bags for use at an annual week-long August college event in windy Oklahoma to replace the 5 gallon buckets with bricks that have traditionally been used with pop-up canopies. Their performance this first year was great. The bags are much more attractive and more suitable for use with the bustling college-age crowd of attendees than the buckets. The bags seem to be very durable and well-constructed. They are heavier, thus safer and more efficient, than the water weights I originally was considering. That should decrease the chances of the canopies blowing away and being damaged or doing damage to people or items they might hit should the college students onsite not take the canopies down when weather conditions are a problem. I filled the bags with with rounded rocks hoping to avoid spillage problems users reported with sand and was satisfied with this choice. Although the individual bags are heavy, they are easy to carry two at a time back to storage. I highly recommend these bags based on my experience to date, and I am optimistic that they will continue to perform well in the future - justifying the purchase price in both the short and long term.

Very durable and does the job well to prevent my canopy from flying away.
I bought these bags over two years ago and have used them several dozen times. They are a great product - very sturdy material and when filled and attached with straps to the tent structure, they are heavy enough to ensure my tent is going absolutely nowhere. I used them without the straps for awhile, and while I didn't have any problems, the bags and tent are more secure with the straps. Get the straps that tighten with a spring-loaded latch (not the ratcheting kind, which is more prone to getting fouled up. I noticed they have it for significantly less cost than what I paid - we paid like 40 dollars and today they are showing it for $15.88. I bought pebbles from the landscaping section of a big box hardware store to fill them - less messy than sand. I put the pebbles in ziploc bags first and then put the ziploc bags in the weight bags because I figured that would reduce the likelihood of the pebbles abrading the fabric. This system has served me very well and I expect to get more years of use out of this excellent product.

Very well constructed. Purchased these and a set of $60 ez bags at the same time. These are so much better than the more expensive bags. They are made out of a much sturdier material, the fold-over closure system doesn't leak sand like the ez bags and they're $20 less! Just bought another set.
