fantastic higher front for boys :)
my twins don't know anything about Thomas the train, but i liked how the front looked higher than others out there. sure enough! with having two potty training and they are different sizes, i needed something that would hold up to both style kids! This is fantastic and sturdy. it is not flimsy like other plastic out there. it was a great price too! they can easily pop it off and on themselves then step up with their step still and hop on to the seat all by themselves. they love it! we had the potty chairs as well, but they preferred getting up on the "big potty" and learning this way.

Tall splash guard, easy clean, easy store on hook
This potty ring is GREAT! I bought it because we are trying to potty train my son. He has a stand-alone potty in his bathroom, but we have a smaller bathroom downstairs which is not conducive to purchasing a separate potty seat. This one is great. I specifically love it for two reasons, the hook that comes with it and the tall splash guard. The Hook: The hook they put in the package, and the mechanism to put the hook through, are both great! My 23 month old son can easily take this off the hook and put it back on the hook. The hook clips over the back of the toilet tank, so there is nothing sticky and nothing to install. I love that we can hide this seat out of sight when not in use. And the seat clips in easily to the toilet, even on an elongated toilet so it makes installation and uninstallation very easy. The Tall Splash Guard: My son gets easily distracted when going to the bathroom. Sometimes he leans back way too far, other times he can't wait to wipe. This tall splash guard has caught everything so far, without myself or the bathroom floor getting splashed at all! (Now if I could get my husband not to splash!) Also, the seat is easily wiped clean with whatever you choose. So far, no pee has gotten below the seat or between the potty ring and the seat which would make cleaning more difficult. I believe what they say about easy clean! Overall, I am very happy with my purchase, and have already suggested this seat to friends. I will continue to recommend it to people I know, and would recommend it to you! So we decided to get the potty that was shaped like a car
I bought both the Baby Bjorn potty seat and the potty chair before my son turned 1 in order to get him familiar with the potty. He showed absolutely no interest in using the potty. When he turned 3, we decided to start training him since he showed signs that he was ready. However, he refused to sit on the potty. So we decided to get the potty that was shaped like a car. However, for my 3 year old, who was 40 inches tall, the chair was way to short for him and it made him squat. After a couple of tries, we gave up until I went to visit my parents who live in a different state. I bought this Thomas & Friends potty seat because it looked like it had a high splash guard. It was just to get him to sit on the potty, and I had no intention of potty training him. It fit great on our parents' round toilet seat. To my surprise, this potty seat got him potty trained in less than 9 hours!!! It was easy for him to sit on and no splashes as long as he was sitting "correctly." All he needed was to go on the potty one time and after that, he started to use the potty by himself. When we came back home, our toilet was higher and longer, and I wanted him to be more comfortable when using the potty. So we went and got the Prince Lionheart potty seat. He went on it twice and then refused to sit on the potty after that because it splashed every where no matter how he was sitting. Also, it kept moving around, so I had to hold it in place with a wipe container in the back. It was potty training all over again. So we decided to get this potty seat back and now he goes by himself again. It is harder to get on a longer toilet seat. I don't think my son would be able to do it by himself, but I can easily get it on and off every time for cleaning. It is made of plastic, so it's easy to wipe down every time. I thought it would be uncomfortable, but since he's sitting on it for seconds at a time, I don't think it bothers him much. Out of the 5 toilet seats that we used, this one was the best for my son.

Works great, and fits snugly (doesn't move around at all)
I bought this to use with my 2 year old son. Works great, and fits snugly (doesn't move around at all), on my elongated toilet seat, but does not fit on my round toilet set. My son loves Thomas and I think this helps to inspire him to use it. I love the hook so I can hang it easily from the side of the toilet. Very easy to clean! Update 11/30/14: This DOES fit my round toilet seat! It is adjustable on the bottom and fits both elongated and round toilet seats. I love this seat even more now and bought a second one to go on my downstairs toilet, which has a round seat.

I am happy to say that this seat fits our needs (and ...
This product is what I've been looking for since beginning potty training with my son. Our first child was a girl and all of our potty seats didn't include a splash/spray guard (well I think they did but they were detachable and we threw them away). When potty training our son we immediately realized how important these splash guards are! After purchasing 2 other potty seats, which were decent, we needed a 3rd and I looked to Amazon for one rated to have the highest largest guard possible - I'm not into taking any chances here. This one fit the bill and I was hopeful that it would also fit on our seats. I am happy to say that this seat fits our needs (and toilet seats) perfectly. It attaches very snugly which means there's no wiggle or chance to pinch a finger (or create a gap where there could be splashing. It's also built without many nooks and seams which means it's very easy to clean. I expect that this wouldn't it on everyone's toilets but on a standard modern seat this should fit well and provide the protection you desperately need.

Winner!
Great little seat! This was a good purchase. It comes with a little hook to hang from the seat. It's easy to snap in place, and also remove. And being that it's all one piece of plastic, it is very easy to keep clean. I've read about the cushion seats smelling after a while, or hard to Clem I'm a seam. With this seat, you don't have to worry about that! Also, it has a little splash guard for my little boy. I like that it not too high, but not too low that it's not effective. It works great keeping pee pee in the potty. And bonus, it's Thomas! I had originally bought a plain white little potty, which my son never got excited about. I learned that the more fun a potty looks, the more interested he'll be about it. So although I liked my white potty to match a classy bathroom, Thomas potty is much more effective! Overall, I'm very happy! We use it all the time, and I like better than a little potty since it gets him used to going on a big potty. Def recommend.

Great, Sturdy Little Seat
We had a Prince Lionheart soft seat before this one, but it tore. We have an oblong toilet seat, and no toddler potty seat really sits on it in a way that supports it in the back section. This seat however seems equal to the task. It is very sturdy, and my 2 year old was delighted to find his friend Thomas was joining him for his potty trips. The pee guard in the front has saved us from many a mess and the handles on the side are great for toddlers to hold for more support and for parents to use to pull the seat off. And, by the way, the seat grips really well, much better the the Prince Lionheart suction cups, it feels like it can handle anything a squirmy toddler can throw at it, and it has so far. We had it now for maybe 4 months and it has shown no signs of wear, Thomas hasn't even rubbed off. This was cheaper than the Lionheart seat too! I wish I would have skipped that one and gotten this one from the start!

Fantastic Seat--Can Even Accomodate Adults in a Pinch!
Thrilled with this potty chair. It can even accommodate an overweight adult woman in dire circumstances, read on! Our 2.5 y/o was still happily using his little munchkin potty on the floor and resisting "the big potty." But it was time for the little potty to go. I don't know what's up with the splash guard on those, but it wasn't working, and the solution was for him to bend flat at the waist or else there would be a puddle on the floor when he was finished. So I bought this specifically because of the good reviews. He was resistant to using it at first, so we simply hid the small potty and there was no choice. Now he absolutely loves the potty. We paired it with the Fisher-Price Thomas & Friends TrackMaster Stepstool, but usually just lift him on/off the seat anyway, because with his pants around his ankles, it is hard to climb on or off of the stool and we worry he would trip and fall. The seat is super easy to snap on/off and there is an included hook to hang it on when it's not in use. But I will confess that there have been several times that it seemed like too much of a bother to snap on/off repeatedly, and I've sat directly on it. I'm a petite woman in stature, but overweight, and this seat is completely sturdy and has (thankfully) not cracked or sagged under my weight. Not sure a taller woman or a man would be able to use it, but for a small woman, it's possible. It's not *comfortable* per se, but in the middle of the night when you've forgotten to remove it, or if you've waited till the last second and need to go NOW, it's completely workable. I've never had a problem with any urine getting on the seat or under it, with either me or my son. We're actually ordering a second one to travel to the grandparents' for the holidays.

Can’t say enough about this pottty seat!
Training my soon to be 3 year old was a challenge. I tried several potty seats and this was by far the best one. It was so easy to clean compared to the other seats that I purchased! You just rinse and wipe it down and you are done. No crevice to get into and very sturdy. It also has a great shield in the front that keeps everything inside the toilet bowl😬. Wish I had purchased this one first because it is by far the best one I have tried. It doesn’t have a soft seat which I think is better then the soft seats on other potty seats because it seams much more stable for a child getting in and off. If you have a little boy this is the one you need. Highly recommend this product! My son was potty trained rather quickly and I feel that this potty seat had a lot to do with it.

perfect fit, awesome splash guard!
I'm in love with this potty seat! It has plastic things underneath it that allow it to attach perfectly to the seat; it doesn't move at all. The splash guard is the tallest I've seen, any mommy/daddy to a little boy will appreciate that! To top it off, my son LOVES it too!! Definitely worth the 10 bucks.
