NOT cheap or flimsy...
Received this item today and I was ready for it.... The stone is a stone. A stone is a stone is a stone. This one is a very I inexpensive one and if you treat it as any another you will appreciate it for years. First off, it is packaged very well. Lots of protection foam and cardboard with a plastic wrapping in a box within a box with more packaging protection. The PEEL is very well made, not flimsy or cheap. It feels very durable and folds nicely for storage purposes. The pizza slicer is a great bonus. NOT cheap or flimsy either. It's as good as it could get. The stone is attractive and made for a home use by amateur cooks and good enough for professional quality food. If seasoning with oil, DO NOT OVER OIL. Really, no oil needed. It's to be seasoned slowly over time kinda like a cast iron skillet. If you over season you will be burning the oil off in clouds of smoke so easy does it. Over all, great product and I recommend this for anyone wanting to buy a stone hut had no previous experience with one. For the price you can't go wrong

2 outta 3 ain't bad!
I am almost 60 and just started baking my own pizza and making my own sourdough pizza dough. I have been baking the pizza 8n a normal electric oven using a 12 inch Lodge cast iron skillet. The skillet does a wonderful job. The crust comes out nicely browned on the top and bottom. I received my stone, peel and cutter today. They were packaged very well and the stone was in pristine condition, as were the peel and cutter. I started by lightly oiling the stone with olive oil and baking it at 350 for an hour. Once that was done and the pores were open, I brushed on a layer of grapeseed oil and let it cook with the fan on at 400 degrees for another hour. IT DID SMOKE...But the oven fan took care of it easily. I let it cool and put it away. I plan to try it out in the oven first next weekend, then may take it out to the grille...or not...my grille isn't the greatest! My impression of the stone is this; It is a quality made stone that will do what I ask of it. It pre-heats quickly, but not at the expense of durability in the thickness of the stone. Use it with cornmeal to help with sticking until it is fully seasoned. My impression of the peel is this; It is also made of quality materials and well engineered and suited to the task it is made for. I expect that it will last a long time, and things that may go wrong after awhile, I can probably fix. I love the way it folds to fit in a smaller space. Well done! My impression of the cutting wheel is this; Cuisinart makes a very good pizza cutter, as does KitchenAid. They are quality and well priced. THIS wheel cutter for pizza would Never make it through a well baked sourdough crust without bending the attachment of the handle to the wheel. It is a cheap add-on, and if Cuisnart left it out and kept the price the same, I would still have been happy with my purchase. I will find a way to re-purpose the cutter, or toss it.

stone cooks dough nicer than punch-holed pan
While the peel is only 10 inches and won't be good for moving dough to the stone, it works well enough after you precook for 4 min, then you can use the peel and the dough will be sturdy enough even if it is over 10 inches. What I do is put dough on punch hole pan and add tomato sauce. Then I will place it on bottom rack at max heat (following Vito's instructions) and after 4 minutes take it out and put rest of ingredients and dress the crust with olive oil and garlic sauce. I will use the peel here to slide the precooked pizza onto the stone and cook for 4 minutes more. It will be crunchy all around and perfectly cooked with no soft spots in the middle on the bottom. Perfection as far as home oven cooking is possible. I highly recommend you follow my tips. The stone will be in the middle rack by the way and it will be heating the whole time so it is as hot as possible and never moves. With the pizza peel it is easy to take the pizza out when it is done. My max oven temp is 450 to 500.

Great value for the purchase price
Before buying this item I did a lot of research on comparable items as well as reading the reviews from this one and the various competition. In addition, I read the product description in detail as well as watched the video. This Cuisinart seemed like a clear choice. Here is what I can report after using it twice: It's really good for the most part, as I have only just one tiny gripe. The pizza cutter is very small. It's like a miniature little cutter. But that said, it has gotten the job done just fine thus far. I only use the stone for cooking in the oven, (not grilling) using frozen pizzas after they were shipped via dry ice from Gold Belly. The Stone did a great job. After heating in the oven at 400 degrees, I removed it and put some light flower on it. After putting it back in the oven, I used the peeler to place my 12 inch pizza on top of the stone. There was plenty of room on the perimeter all around. Using the peeler I removed it from the oven after 15 minutes. The transfer was a breeze. After a 5 minute wait, the pizza then went back in using the peeler again. This time for another 22 minutes. Finally, I removed the pizza, and it was once again a seamless transition. I cleaned the stone in my sink the next day, using just warm water, and no soap. So, you can ignore those bad things you read about the stone smelling, or other complaints about the peeler. The peeler is great. For $25, you get everything you need here, and it all works great. Happy pizza eating!

Good product has everything needed to make homemade pizza
Very good pizza stone. Pizza steel folds up making it fit well in the cabinet.. Using Parchment paper makes it a very smooth transfer from peel to stone and back out again.. Using parchment paper also makes it easier to transfer to and from pizza stone..

Great on the grill!
I owned a Cuisinart pizza stone years ago and never replaced it when it broke as I moved to a place with no Barbecue. In spite of the many negative reviews I really liked my original stone so took a chance and got another. This one is just as good as I remember. I preheated it at the full burn of the grill (700 degrees) for fifteen minutes, then dropped the temperature until it held at 500, it is important to use LOTS of cornmeal, semolina or farina to slide the uncooked pizza on to the stone, but once on it cooks in twelve minutes, crispy bottom, nice fluffy sides and stringy cheese perfection. I would buy again and give as a gift happily.

Great price for a great product
The first time we used it the pizza stuck to the stone so bad but I didn't follow the instructions. The next time I made sure I had cornmeal and heated the stone to 450 and it worked perfectly! I have used it several times and the pizzas cook perfectly while sliding off easily when done. The pizza peel works perfectly and the pizza cutter is working great so far. I have only used it about 4 times so I don't know about the longevity but I would recommend.

Serious about Pizza? Get One
Loving the results from pizzas on this stone. I use it to cook home made pizzas on fresh dough as well as store bought pizzas and crusts. I put the oven on 550 (as high as it goes) and it cooks pizzas perfectly in 6 to 8 minutes. crust is always nice a crispy without being burned. The peel eliminates reaching into the oven to place/retrieve pizzas and getting burned. The peel has a folding handle too, making it easy to store. I have very happy with this combo and am getting great use of of it.

Save money on take out!
Absolutely love this stone.. got one for my mom for Mother’s Day, then bought one for myself after trying hers! She uses hers on the grill.. I use mine in the oven (500 degrees.. preheat stone in oven for at least 30 mins, then cook pizza for 13 mins). I put a piece of parchment paper on the shovel, sprinkle a little cornmeal on it, then put the pizza on the paper and transfer it that way into the oven (do NOT use parchment paper if using on the grill!). I’ve used this stone 2-3 times a week for the last 6 months and it is still going strong. I don’t even order pizza out anymore!

Love this!
This set is awesome! The pizza cutter is very sharp and cuts pizza like a charm. The stone gets very hot and gives the bottom of the pizza a great crust! The peel is very easy to use and the handle folds for easy storage. Such a great purchase. The only downside is that the pizza stone can stain but that is the case for all pizza stones to my knowledge. Its clean just slightly stained.
