Works very well with both Nikon DSLRs we have (D750 and D3200), both in front and in the back of the cameras. All modes (focus, delay) work. Comes with a battery and carrying pouch. There is virtually no difference in range or angle of reception between this and our Nikon ML-L3.

Great cheap remote once I figured out how to pair with my d3300. Doesn't have a long range, but I was using for night star pics and only needed to be able to take pics without bumping the tripod.

Once we figured out how to get it to work on the Nikon D3400 it's WONDERFUL. Just go to the menu for the timer, it's the little button under the directional pad, choose the little remote icon, and that's it. You can choose the 2 second delay with the remote too. You do need to use it from the front of the camera, or to the right side (from behind) putting the remote just far enough forward to "talk" to the infrared sensor that's in the top third of the hand grip. I never knew how shaky my hands are until I started to learn more about photography and bought this camera. This remote has and will make my pictures so much better! Love it.

I used this remote for a New Years Eve photo booth. I found it was still in my pocket when I pulled my clothes from the dryer. Yes the dryer...I had washed AND dried them. I figured I would have to purchase another remote because I had just ruined this one. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it with the camera and it WORKED! Tired it a few more times and it still works. I would not recommend washing and drying this remote, but in my case when it happened by accident, it wasn't ruined.

I got this for my Nikon D3300 and let me tell you it works like a charm like its so easy to use, and there really is no setup or configuration. I not sure of the rage but it was doing really well at 30 feet. Not much to say about this its a great thing to have for a Nikon Dslr camera. The picture I included is what I did with the remote just to show like a example, to show that you can take picture of yourself and the remote is so small it fits in your hand like nothing is there. Pros- Small (very portable) Good Build Decent range Great for portraits Price Cons- None

Hallelujah! Makes self-portraits much easier than relying on the timer option! Nikon D3300 folks, you can press the little button to the left of the delete/trash button. See the timer/remote icon over the button? Once you're in that menu, press the "i" if you want info to help you select the best setting. I like the instant shutter release option. If this review was even a bit helpful, please press the helpful button : )

Works like the real McCoy with my Nikon D3200! I even had a usage problem. I emailed FotoTech and got back a quick response that resolved the issue. What's not to like!

Works perfectly!! I life saver during my photo shoots in college class, where I was required to take several photographs of myself and my family for a collage project (adult student here, folks). Anyways, I utilized the timer on the camera for some shoots, but for the family pics, the self timer just wasn't doing the job. Hence, I decided to research the remote control that is available for my camera. The name brand (Nikon) was pricey, but this unit was affordable and other photographers who had purchased it reported no issues at all!! Once I received it, I tried it out and Bingo!! There was no need to program the remote or any other hassle. I pointed the control at my Nikon D3300 and it worked like a charm! As I stated, it saved my life during my photography course at college (university really). No issues at all! I've seen others post this note, so I'm doing it as well. I am a normal consumer, and am in no way affiliated at all with the company. The product works great and helped me out tremendously! Thx!

This is my first camera remote and set up was ridiculously easy. I was first confused because it didn't come with instructions. The box it was in was crumpled but the velvet pouch was still there. I was skeptical. But there was a plastic battery sheath that you have to pull out before it can be used. I followed the instructions on my camera's manual to turn the remote mode on. Then, I just pressed the button on the remote and heard the camera shutter go off. No programming needed! In this day an age, something that happens this easily is such a blessing.

The manufacturer says this is short range, maybe 16 feet, so it is good for remote releasing the shutter at close range for group pictures with you, the photographer in it or getting bird pictures without scaring the bird off.. It does not work well through windows or around walls and so forth. I took this picture using it. For short money it does what it says it will do, just don't expect more.
