Hard to say which impressed me more: Light weight Durable sole Comfortable insole Stay-tied laces Waterproof construction After throwing away boots that cost as much and lasted half as long, Skechers will be the only workboots on my son's feet. He works for a catering firm, and is often working on surfaces (docks, trucks, stairs and in warehouses) where slippery and wet conditions prevail.

These boots were a great replacement for the cheaper, once a year boots I get locally at the superstore. At $70ish bucks, they're still not too pricey, but they feel as though they'll hold up a bit better than my traditional purchases. Fitting as expected, I've worn these for about a month now in all manner of weather and they keep my feet planted and dry. I do wish the memory foam for the sole was a little bit more substantial; it is refreshing when you first insert your foot, but its depresses quickly and isn't terribly thick. These boots also seems to scuff up a bit more than my standard boots, but I'm not terribly concerned there. I also have a bit harder of a time keeping the laces tight on these than I'm accustomed to for a boot of this style; I'm just trying to be a bit more aggressive with my lace tying to compensate. Might improve with time.

Great boots! Use them for work in retail (so I'm always on my feet) and sometimes, I'll have to work in refridgerated departments. These definitely keep my feet warm even if I'm only wearing regular ankle socks. Plus, they are even relatively comfortable in ankle socks. Sure, I can feel boot rub against leg/ankle as I walk, but after about a week of wearing short socks with these, I can safely say that there is absolutely no last discomfort! Any discomfort I may feel while walking is very fleeting and probably just me not being used to wearing boots yet. Quality of the leather seems to be good too. If you have to stand for a while, I recommend buying some cheap cushion soles. You can find store brand ones for a buck or two and help just enough to make you reconsider buying Dr. Sholes again.

These are pretty great not as soft as you would think I wear them for a full work day at a cement plant I've had my pair for about 3 months and I would definitely get another after these go out. I put these through "Hell" dirt, wet cement, and daily use they haven't broken on me yet and they weren't hard to break in. A lot of room for my feet to breathe good material for the price I dont even want to try other pairs of boots because I'm worried I'd be waiting my money. My pair were a size 15 and they are worth it.

Bought these for my husband for work. He is a delivery man and is on his feet a lot. He is constantly carry and moving heavy items out of his semi, up and down the ramp. They have “steel” toe which keeps him from smashing his feet. They are slip resistant which keeps him from busting his ass going up and down a slippery ramp. On top of these two must have features, they are the most comfortable work boot he has ever worn! In his opinion he would buy these boots ever time!!

It was Danner which was my favorite brand of work boot & safety shoes for a long time. The first time I ordered sketchers was in 2014, and I have not looked back. I should mention that the first time I ordered sketchers was October 10th 2014, and the product was SKECHERS WORK Men's Soft Stride-Compo Composite Toe Sneaker (Navy/Black 12.0 2W): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GI6TS26/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 That has been the only pair I owned until ordering this current pair which I am reviewing now. That's 2 and 1/2 years I got out of those shoes, and they are still serviceable. In fact the only reason I ordered this new pair is because we have a safety shoe allowance given through my employer, and it is a use it or lose it benefit. Otherwise I would have not needed to order new ones quite yet. It seems like I am reviewing my first pair more than I am reviewing this pair. My point however, is that I've been very impressed with Sketcher's quality, durability, and comfort. I'm generally very picky about quality in the things I buy, so when I find something which is up to par, it impresses me. This new pair of sketchers is shaping up to be every bit as excellent as the previous pair. They fit exactly as expected - which is another thing I like about sketchers, ie, their sizing consistency. They are super comfortable as well. No odd pressure points or irregular fitting characteristics. Sketcher's are, in my opinion, the best safety shoe / work boot, you can buy. If not for having to spend my safety shoe benefit, I don't think four or five years of serviceable life is out of the question for these boots. Well done, Sketchers.

I got these for my husband becausehe works 9-11 hrs a day on his feet and was constantly complaining about his feet and legs hurting. He absolutly loves these boots, he said they are very comfortable and his feet, legs, and even back pain have gone away! I plan on buying some for my dad for fathers day since my husband likes them so much! Very satisfied!

I work as a rural mail carrier and need work boots that protect my feet and are comfortable. These boots are perfect for me. I was going to buy a pair of Timberland boots but when I saw these were less money with more features, I took a chance on them and I'm glad I did. I might buy another pair of these same boots to have on hand when these wear out, just in case they don't make them anymore :)

The negative reviews about this sketchers work boot almost made me not want to buy them but I’m sooooo glad I took a chance and bought them. They are excellent work boots. I’m a mechanic so I’m on my feet all day long and these are super comfortable right out of the box. The boots can take a good beating. I will definitely buy these again.

I bought these for my husband because I know the Skechers brand makes comfortable shoes. We we're surprised at how comfortable their work boots are too! Whats even better is how well made and sturdy they are. He works in a scrap yard with metal scraps everywhere & these boots are still holding up well. This will be the boots I stick with to replace when they get worn out.
