Delicious, Natural, Low Calorie Snack

This is actually my third time buying this product: the first time I got a box of three flavors from Costco, but I liked the Asian Pear the best, so then I bought a box of just the Asian Pear from this vendor, and this is the second time Iʻve done that, and Iʻm sure I will again and again. This is a totally delicious, 100% natural, very low calorie snack. And quite refreshing too. I wish they were a little more affordable - Iʻd buy more at a better price. But theyʻre irresistibly delicious!

The best I've ever had...

The crispy tangerines are the best i've ever tasted. I eat them like candy. Ive bought over 75 bags over the years and never ever got a "bad batch". The taste has always been consistently sweet/tart. They even look like tangerine pieces (unlike all other brands I've tried in which the pieces are chopped up) so you feel like youre eating tangerines. I used to see a lot of reviews complaining about them coming from China and that "it must be GMO since it is from China" but they are not - the non-GMO certification label is printed right on the bag. And I've also read complaints that "since they're from China they must not be picked when ripe" but I disagree - they taste ripe and fresh and being that theyre freeze-dried they can be picked ripe and then flash-frozen immediately to retain freshness and maintain all the vitamins without oxidation. I will continue to be a loyal buyer of these!

Tasty, Crispy, NO additives, 40 calorie goodness

I have been enjoying Crispy Fruit for a few years now, and I keep buying more. Although the apple is my favorite, I also enjoy the other fruits as well. Yes, it would be nice if they sold packages that had more quantity in them, but for the majority of the times I eat them, there is just enough. Living near the coast, they are always apart of my hurricane kit I put together every year (hate those long lines in the stores when a storm comes close). I also keep one in the car for those stuck in traffic times or I am getting hungry but its close to dinner time occassions, just open a bag and enjoy the crispy goodness. Friends and I also enjoy taking these on vacations and snacking on them on airplane trips, car trips, bus tours, and at festivals. They came in very handy when a relative had major problems on their boat after getting into a bad storm, the two of them were adrift for weeks. Luckily they had supplies which included a dozen large bags (each has 6 small bags in it) of Crispy Fruit on board, fruit which stayed crispy and dry even with all the water damage on board. Keep some in your kitchen cabinet, car, travel bags, hiking bags, boats and storm kits, they wont go to waste.

Great snack - 40 calories - tart/lightly sweet

Trying to watch my intake of sugar and calories being a borderline diabetic, I need something for a snack about 8pm. For 40 calories x1 or 2 bags (addicting), it works for me. It reminds me of that space food from the 70s, and I put a piece in my mouth, until it hydrates, the chew in the mango goodness. I don't like real sweet products, and this is a perfect blend. I ordered 3 more boxes. I wish they sold them on Prime Now locally. The photos posted are accurate. To me, think of the texture similar to dried marshmallows in a cocoa individual packet. That's the texture, only make it a real mango flavor.

This is tasty and healthy as a grab and go snack. I dont like pears but freeze dried pears are awesome. Totally different texture. WARNING: the tangerines seeds sometimes get freeze dried in the fruit. They are nasty bitter. Enough to stop me from buying again? Nope. Just kinda wish I had known so I was physically prepared for that the first time it happened.

I first saw these in the super market, sold in bags of six packs. I liked them, and checked to see if they were available from Amazon. They are very tasty and I like the freeze dried crispness. The price is a little high, but the quality more than makes up fo that. If you like freeze dried fruit, this is the best on the market.

OUTSTANDING!!! Best Snack EVER!!!

OUTSTANDING!!! Best snack EVER! The apple and mango are awesome, but my fav is the pineapple. I'm going to try the pear next. I love that the slices are a bit thicker than you usually find in freeze dried products. At only 40 cal and no added preservatives, I can actually grab TWO bags if I want a larger snack. These are perfect for kids in the car! They're not messy or gummy like some dehydrated fruits. I will be buying again and again, and hope they come up with more flavors!!!

Freeze-dried crunchy fruit sensation

I would rather have these than chips. The first bag of apples was so aromatic and crunchy that my daughter and I sat with our eyes closed, mmmhhing as we slowly devouried every bite. We've been that way over a really fine bottle of wine before, so this was strange to get so enamored with dried fruit. I was in elementary school when NASA went to the moon. My husband and I both remember the big deal Tang was when it was released to the public "Drink what the astronauts drink" and how that tangerine orange powder was a taste unlike anything else. You didn't want kool-aid or orange juice...you wanted Tang with your breakfast. These are the Tang for everyday favorites: apple, banana, pear, and tangerine. Put them in my lunchbox beside my PBJ and replace the potato chip and the apple. I won't be trading food with my lunch buddies.

Very Delicious

This is great. I discovered that freeze dried fruit is way easier to eat than just dried fruit which is sometimes hard or rubbery and not easy to snack on at the office between calls since I am on the phone a lot. Where I normally get freeze dried fruit really only has apples, strawberries, bananas and blueberries, which are great, but I got this box for the oranges and peaches (apples too, but I have had the apples before). I have tried both and I will likely be ordering this box again. There are several packages and I can easily take them to work and have a snack that isn't so bad for me, easy to eat, and not messy. I have to admit I was skeptical about the oranges since you expect an orange to be juicy, but I do really like them. If you like other freeze dried fruit, I really don't think you will go wrong with these.

Crispy fruity goodness.

Absolutely the best dried fruit I ever had. Crispity texture. Real fruit taste. Not leathery mummified pieces like when i tried to use the dehydrator. So good you wont want to share. These would be excellent in your sack lunch. Kids should love this.They must have very good manufacturing standards because all the pieces are decent sized no significant amount of crumbles. Do not hesitate to give this or any of their products a try but this is my favorite with the mandrin orange.
