I got this just before the very snowy winter we had in CT 2014-15. I used this in conjunction with a Huskvarna gas snow blower. I also got a spare battery. Every snowfall I would start with this one get what I could get before moving on to the big thrower. I used maybie 1-1/2 gallons of gas all winter. This one provides a completely different and better exercise and is quiet. You can throw it in a car, or just carry it in your hands like a big flashlight.

Snow Joe Ion Battery

When we ordered the Snow Joe iON18SB Ion snow blower we also ordered a second battery just to be sure we had plenty of power to do our driveway and patios. Normally we only use one battery but have had to use the second battery on at least one occasion. When a snow storm is forecast, which for February 2015 has felt like every other day, we charge the battery and it charges in less than 3 hours! Works like a charm.

The Classic Accessories cover fits this Snow Joe iONSB cordless snow blower: Classic Accessories 52-067-010405-00 Single Stage Snow Thrower Cover. This cover is the only one i could find that would fit the Snow Joe 18iONSB [also available for sale at Amazon]. It's easier to change batteries than switch from using a cordless snow blower/thrower than finishing the task with a shovel. Great price, too - i bought the spare charger and the battery from Amazon as well.

It works great! We have two batteries

It works great! We have two batteries, which work for about an hour before needing charged. We use one, then change to the other if needed. We have a long, wide driveway, and can clear the whole area in no time. We love them, and will keep purchasing them as we need them.

Ordered this for my mom for her 90th birthday. The Sun Joe mower is so easy for her to use and almost weightless so that she can mow her own yard. Original mower battery works for approximately 50 minutes and now she can precharge then slip this one in to finish off her entire yard. Just as advertised and quickly shipped!

2nd battery is key for large storms or helping your neighbors!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Just had 12 inches dumped in 24 hours. There were the gasoline blowers, there were the Joe blowers, and then there were the people who were able to shovel a path for their car :) Love my Joe and my second battery!

Fits snow blower and retains a strong charge

I love my new Snow Joe snow blower, and am very happy that I bought a second battery to go with it. We have a long, wide driveway, so it takes awhile to clear it, especially if it's a deeper snow. I haven't always needed the second battery, but I'm really glad to have it when I do so that I can finish the job all in one session.

Best little snow blower around!

We love our Snow Joe snow blower. It works easily in the fluffy snow. It can handle the wetter snow, but you just have to stop & clean out the chute more frequently. Batteries last long. The snowblower starts easily & stores easily. We've used it countless times this winter on our composite deck & our driveway. Yes, it's been a snowy winter this year too! We highly recommend it.
