Perfect replacement for worn out batteries

A couple of years ago a friend had given me his set of walkie talkies with the charging base. I mention the charging base, because I believe that when the walkie talkies are left in the base charging the batteries eventually wear out. We were able to power on the walkie talkies, but as soon as we pressed PTT (push to talk) the walkie talkie(s) would immediately turn off. I suspected a battery issue but I wasn't completely sure on that. The 2 pack of these batteries were $10, so I thought it was worth the risk. I could always return them if they did not fix the problem. I put them in (they almost look identical to the ones that were already in the walkie talkie), and powered them on. We were able to push PTT and the walkie talkies stayed on! Now we are going to let the batteries run mostly down before we put them on the charger, and take them off of the charger when they are full so hopefully they last longer. But $10 for 1-2 years for one set of walkie talkies is not going to be a bad price at all. I will update this review if they fail on me prematurely.

Batteries work

My old batteries died a long time ago. I completely forgot about the radios until my daughter found them. These have brought back to life two twenty year old radios

Perfect fit and works great! Super low price, each battery is about $5. Note: the box indicates 700mAh but do not fear, inside the box are two 1000mAh batteries.

For the price definitely worth it!

1000mah is definitely the way to go better then my last set which only was 650mah. So should definitely last longer! Cant wait to put them to use. Thank you!

Significant improvement compared to original batteries, which were about 5 years old. In Motorola MR350 walkie-talkes, Will function in the standby/weather monitoring configuration more than 30 hours of continuous monitoring.

Time will tell...

Just purchased and have used for the first time and did not have anyone coming back in with a dead radio over the 3 days used (charged at night). Have numerous radios which are used for several days in a row, stored then used again. Will see what happens in time, may "get what paid for" compared to price at battery outlet store.

Good Value

Used these on two Motorola Talk Abouts. They are exactly like the OEM battery in appearance and fit. They charged up fine and powered up my radios as expected. I'm happy so far, but will provide an update to review long-term performance. Still, so far, I'm happy.

These batteries actually fit the Motorola radios. Most don’t.

Most after market Motorola replacement battery packs don’t actually fit (the cover won’t go back on). These fit.
