Made for a lovely gift

My mom does a lot of entertaining and I purchased this and a small knife set for her for mother's day. She LOVES the cutting board and it really looks nice in her small place. Perfect for about 3 cheeses with crackers for serving and when she's not entertaining it's a pretty decoration. If you're giving as a gift, realize that you'll need to package it nicer (or put it in a basket with other items). I can see it being a nice center piece to a creative wedding basket.

I ordered two cutting boards - one Texas and one Alaska. The Alaska board is missing South East Alaska, but otherwise they are both great. I am from Texas and my husband is from Alaska so I hung them up in our kitchen together. He says there is a problem with the sizing. I have included a picture of what they look like and another of what he says they should look lie.

it's really nice and I might get one for myself

We do a white elephant gift exchange every year and each year the gift has to be a certain letter of the alphabet. Next year is B. So I bought my gift a year early while it was on my mind. B for bamboo cutting board. Anyway, it's really nice and I might get one for myself. I got the Michigan one, which is prob the best one because it's in the shape of a mitten. Love it.

Practical piece of kitchen artwork

This board sits atop my collapsible shelf next to the wall oven. Perfect for holding hot dishes as they come out of the oven. When the shelf flops down, it looks like a frame around the map of Oregon!! Lots of comments. It is lightweight and removable for cleaning. Great product (also, just the right size. You may have to choose a different state for different applications.).

I really prefer bamboo over any other woods

I bought this as a gift, and had laser engraved with my own design. For the kitchen and real use, I'd say it would be good for one or two people dinners, if that makes sense. The quality seems good, and because it is relatively thin, I like that it is light and easy to move around; I own a bigger and thicker (18 x18 x 1.5") bamboo chopping block, and I really prefer it over any other woods.

great gift

gifted this to my sister in law, she's a long island native but moved out of new york, so i'd thought it'd be cute for her to use decoratively. the long island shaped board is a bit too narrow to actually be used as a cutting board in my opinion, but is definitely nice for decoration or serving something on it. also going to mention, this did not come in a box, just wrapped in plastic. awkward to wrap. that's my only complaint

Our friends loved this!

I am from the U.S., but I sent this as a gift to friends in Sweden. Their son went to college in our state (Nebraska) and became a close friend of our family. His parents visited us also a couple of times. Our friends loved this!

Military decor as we move around the country

I love these! We have them in many states and I will be getting Oahu, HI next. We are military and I have them in my kitchen and add the states as we move around!

Love it, but order double the quantity you need!

I have to return about half because they have scratches or dents on the top side, so I order double and return the damaged ones. I almost feel like the company is protecting the wrong side, as the back (with their logo) is nearly always in perfect condition. Otherwise I LOVE this cutting board. sturdy and unique. We laser engrave it for departure gifts. Engraving looks great.
