This pop up is fantastic! Have used many brands over the years but this is by far the best! Yes it is heavy, yes you probably need two people for a easy set up, but it is very well made, and has many built in features that make it a cut above the rest. No more hurt fingers pushing in little steel buttons to make the legs go up, it has an easy to use lever that works perfectly. And taking it down can be done with one person. The specially designed carry bag is well thought out and again, easy to use. I am so pleased I paid the extra money to purchase this canopy and am sure it will last for years.

I paid for what I got and I'm so I happy I own what I got. This thing is a beast. We visit Hatteras Island with kids, this thing holds up to the windy beaches and sound beaches fantastic. The material is extremely durable and well made. The whole thing is designed to fold up and put in case with the fabric still on. The case is spacious (huge) and never has a problem closing, regardless of how poorly I fold the frame and canopy. It is large, like, real big. And real Heavy ~50lbs. The case rolls so great though and is super high quality. This seems like a canopy that a wedding rental company would use. The case has a place for the included metal stakes and (really nice) straps. If you use the straps on the beach, like me, make sure you wash the metal clasps off, mine rusted a bit but I'm sure they were covered in salt. I bought a pack of those cheap sand/snow stakes you can find on amazon and a rubber mallet, I can just pack everything in this case, there is plenty of room for extra straps/rope/etc...

Two things to keep in mind - this canopy is heavy. And when packed back in it's carry case, it's much longer than other canopies. Aside from that this canopy is much higher quality than any I've used before. The carry bag is durable and large enough to easily put the canopy back inside with the fabric still attached to the frame. It has several inside pockets to store stakes and anchor lines. The wheels are steel and much better than the cheap plastic ones found on other bags. The canopy frame is heavy duty with center trusses that span from the middle of each side to the center support. This is important because most canopies fail in the wind when the outside trusses collapse in the middle due to lack of support. The canopy height had three adjustment from high to very high with the lowest being higher than I would normally like. I added more holes at the 20" and 24" mark of each leg and now have height settings that I prefer. The canopy fabric is roughly twice as thick as standard canopies (300D versus 150D) and is properly reinforced. Set up is very easy with two people once you learn to push up on the corners as you pull them out from each other. Dismantling is even easier, only taking a couple of minutes for one person to release the upper corner of each leg and pull down on the center as the outside corners come inwards. Putting this canopy back in the storage back without removing the fabric from the frame is very easy. I bought this canopy after my very expensive "wind rated" Coleman 13x13 collapsed in a thunderstorm. The frame simply collapsed on one side from lack of structural support. Measurements are misleading as well, because this 10x10 canopy is a true 10x10 at the top while others are measured at the bottom with the legs spread out. Thus this one seems just as large if not larger than a Coleman 13x13. This canopy cost twice as much as the cheapest Walmart garbage and only $50 more than the best Coleman has to offer. But I anticipate it lasting much, much longer than any of those. Update: After using the canopy two times, there was a sharp spot on one of the crossmember brackets that rubbed a hole in the canopy fabric. I filed the rough spot down (it looked like a mold release nub on the plastic bracket) and emailed a picture of the tear/bracket to the vendor, who is replacing the top under warranty. Great canopy and great customer service.

Over the last 20 years I've owned four or five different pop-up canopies. All were the traditional accordian-style, purchased variously from Wal-Mart, Home-Depot, and Amazon. At first these were new products on the market and clocked in at about $100. Over time the pop-up canopy became a commodity; I think the last one I bought was $60. But the main point is that every one of these products was indistinguishable from the other: Same design, same materials, same build-quality. And truth be told, I was happy with them. We use ours exclusively for the beach and even with high winds, we'd typically get three or four years before they canopy frame failed structurally, which is what happened to the canopy that died last summer. We replaced it with the Eurmax and here's the bottom-line take-away: This is nothing like the traditional pop-up canopy. You pay a premium in price--the commoditized canopies are $60-$70; the Eurmax is $160. But what you're getting is a totally different product. The materials are higher quality throughout: Heavier gauge steel on the frame; higher-grade plastics at the joints; the shade itself is a higher denier; even the bag is better—it's roomier and has big, fat wheels that make it practical to roll the canopy long-distances. (Which you will want to do, because the Eurmax is heavier than normal canopies.) But the design is even more impressive. Traditional canopies are a box with the crossbars eminating from the corners. This funnels all of the stress to the sides, which, at least for me, have been the point of failure for every canopy I've ever owned. Eventually, those accordian-style sides bend. The Eurmax has the crossbars braced not from the corners, but from the sides, which distributes all of the stress more evenly across the frame. Then, it has a single piece which rises from the crossbars to create the apex—and this vertical pieces is on a heavy-gauge spring. So when the wind pushes down on the shade, the spring allows the apex to flex by design, taking stress off of the shade. There are lots of other thoughtful engineering touches: The feet are wider. The buttons to release the legs are more robust. The stakes are *much* beefier and are fitted with flat tops to make them easier to push down on. The bag is roomier because it's designed for you to be able to store the frame *with the shade attached*! I don't do a lot of review on Amazon, but I'm evangelizing here because I was blown away by the Eurmax. I had thought that the premium price might buy me slightly better materials. I had no idea that what Eurmax was selling was almost a completely re-engineered product. I can't recommend it highly enough.

We have had this for almost 2 years now (although we don't use it a ton) and we LOVE it! We primarily use it for our concession stand at our outdoor movie party! The first year there was no breeze so staking it down was not a big deal. However, this year's party was windy and it needed staked down. The steaks were GREAT and the adjustable ropes even GREATER! I remember thinking last year how much I loved how durable this tent was and then seeing it's other features in use this year made me realize it all over again!

This canopy is fantastic!! My first canopy was a $40 buy, and ended up getting destroyed by the first strong wind. Granted, this one cost almost 5 times as much, but I’m so happy that I spent the money. It has a superior construction to most canopies I’ve seen. I love the support in the center of the canopy. It is MUCH heavier than my previous canopy, but that’s because of the superior construction and materials. Setting up the canopy is so smooth. I was amazed in how smoothly the guides slide up and down the vertical legs of the structure as you set it up. The other great feature is the thumb lock release system when taking down the canopy. With other canopies, I always worried that my thumb would get pinched when I pressed the button to release the canopy when taking it down. With this new canopy, you press the thumb lock release, so there is no chance to get your thumb pinched. It also seems to take less pressure to release the canopy. I can’t say enough about this canopy! Definitely a great purchase!

I just got this tent for an outdoor craft fair. It was the worst possible scenario of cold and winds, but this bad boy (with the proper weights) held it's ground. Technically, you can erect this by yourself but, of course, much easier with an extra pair of hands. Otherwise, it's simple and easy, tons of head room. The only thing is that I wish I could find appropriate side walls made by Eurmax to purchase. There is velcro running the entire length of the ceiling so it would be great to find walls that attach with the same velcro strip running along the top but I haven't found it yet. All the walls I've found are made by other companies and have multiple straps you need to attach to the top and sides. No big deal. Otherwise, this tent is wonderful!

Between festivals, backyard parties, and commercial events, I've used almost every brand of pop-up available. No more! The Eurmax Commercial is the only one I'll buy. I initially bought two for my personal use. After using them this summer, my boss bought seven more to use commercially. The frame is well designed. Struts and legs are double the size and strength of cheap knock-offs. It's heavy enough to not blow away before you have time to tie it down. The canopy is heavy-duty, and waterproof. Seams are well constructed. AND when you put it up, it's tight, tight, tight -- just what you want to avoid rain puddling, even if you do have to be sure to smooth the corners down before completely stretching it apart. When I'm through with an event, I'm ready to go NOW. I don't want to be fiddling trying to get the bag zipped and I certainly don't want to have to carry the canopy separately. This bag bulges at the top, allowing one person to quickly zip frame and canopy into one package. However, if you want it to last, but sure to store the canopy separately to avoid mold and deterioration. The wheels are larger than most, making it easier to roll across bumpy lawns and even small tree roots. My one issue is that the bottom of the bag is open, with a metal platform that two of the legs ride on. It's a great design and I love that air can move around in storage, BUT you have to make sure to cinch the bottom of the bag tight around the canopy with the attached velcro straps or things shift and the frame can start slipping out as you're rolling along. This pop-up is designed to last. Take care of it and you will get many years use. The best part? If you ever do have trouble with it, you can get spare parts!

I just purchased this tent for use at handmade markets. I previously bought a tent from eBay that was $60 and not at all worth it- it was an absolute nightmare. The frame quickly broke (leaving it sagging in places and a customer even hit their head on it!! :O ) and I found out the hard way that "water resistant" doesn't mean "waterproof." I wound up just throwing the darn thing into a garbage can at my last market of the season last year. So I was in need of a serious upgrade. I just used the Euromax for the first time the other day and I absolutely LOVE it! It is very heavy (but not so heavy for someone who is used to lifting heavy things), but again it's worth it. It comes with an awesome bag, that'll clear last, that fits the tent with the canopy on top and has wheels to attach to the bottom. The bag also has pockets inside. It comes with a tarp and stakes. We needed four people to set it up, but I'm thinking that's because it was the first time we set it up. The canopy absolutely feels waterproof and well made. The frame seems so sturdy! It has three height options and we opted for the second, with no issue. It didn't budge all day (with weights attached with bungies) and was a breeze to take down and get back into the bag with two people. Also, it easily fit into my Kia Soul-just had to come up in between the front seats and sat on the center console a few inches in. If you're looking for a high quality waterproof tent, this one's for you! It's worth the money and worth the weight of it! I love mine!!

We set the tent up quickly. Maybe 10 minutes? Our last tent was ruined in a freak microburst at a Renaissance Faire. This one stood up well in light winds and some rain. We had it slanted on a little hill, and it was sturdy. I do recommend using heavy weights or sand if you plan to use outdoors.
