Far and away the best choice for a hole cover at this price
This is much much higher-quality than the cheapo snap-in covers. I'm baffled by the fact that the snap-in covers in some cases cost more than this item. Un like the snap-in covers, this one (1) isn't going to pop loose, (2) can easily be positioned exactly where you'd like it, and (3) can be used to create a nice seal with the sink (given that it has a decent washer with it, it's probably overkill to caulk it w/silicone but the instructions suggest caulking above and below the sink w/silicone).

Cute buttons!
I bought a new faucet for my bathroom pedestal sink (a single hole assembly for a 3-hole sink), and decided I wanted to go with a look a little different than an escutcheon would provide. So I shopped around for sink hole covers, and decided to go with these because 1) they appeared to look nice and 2) I liked the wider post underneath as I thought it might make fitting them less fiddly and sit more flush to the sink top (so that I might not need to caulk the covers). No idea if the wider post theory is valid in fact, but I DID find them easy to install, and they DO sit flush enough to the sink top that I haven't had any leaking issue (and didn't use any caulk, just screwed them snug). That said, I'm not a messy person and don't splash much when using the water, so YMMV. They do look very nice on my sink, flanking the chrome accented faucet and also are a good match for the chrome pop-up drain I installed. I didn't see any discoloration or flaws on them, and at the price? I consider this purchase to be a total "win" for me and my project :D

Great item, great price
I went to the store and bought stainless steel hole cover. I did measure the hole and got the right size and it was useless. And I paid almost $ 4.00 for it at Lowe's . I don't know who can possibly think that this item for this price is stainless steel and I don't know why do we need it to be stainless steel, when they builled houses with plastic pipes, but according to reviews, few people do. This item does what it has to do very well. Matches my brushed stainless steel sink and faucet. And I have very hard time to believe that I would have to replace it in few months like some people here are claiming

Where is it? Exactly!
Bought this because I was tired of contorting myself to fill the hand pump soap dispenser under my sink. So, I removed the hand pump and got a couple hands free soap dispensers, leaving a hole in my granite countertop. The gasket disappears when you tighten the nut below, and the cover was thin enough that my new soap dispensers sits right on top of it putting it out if sight completely!

Cheap & Plastic, but gets the job done
Cheap & plastic, but gets the job done. The cap looks like real brushed nickle, the rest looks like cheap plastic, if it doesn't break, I will be very happy. Being said, I would gladly have paid 4x's more for a completely metal unit

All plastic but good finish and fit
Inexpensive but seem to be of decent quality plastic and finish matches the brushed stainless faucet. The threaded part is plenty long enough for our granite counters. I used a small bead of silicone around the hole then inserted these pushing down to firmly seat the cap flush with the counter, then waited for the silicone to dry. I then threaded on the nut to secure it. I used a razor blade to carefully peel off the squeezed out dried silicone from the counter and around the perimeter of the cap. I actually haven’t threaded on the second nut since it’s hard to reach, but the silicone seems to holding it firmly in place so I’m not too worried about it getting loose. I like the fact these are thin and flat. So far they are a perfect fit and the counter looks much better without the old broken soap dispensers.

Perfect for what I needed
What can I say? These cheap little covers were perfect for what I needed. I replaced my old 3 hole faucet system with the 1 hole faucet and needed to cover the extra holes up. These matched the new oil rubbed bronze Delta faucet perfectly and were a breeze to install. They get a little spotty quickly but wipe of easily enough.

very nice
This is exactly what we were looking for and match our oil rubbed bronze faucet perfectly as it's impossible to tell if this is plastic or metal. The picture shows this as painted brown, but they are actually the oil rubbed bronze look. Nice quality, worked perfectly, and are exactly what we wanted.

Works for what I need it for
Just what I needed. Filled the hole in the granite. Hasn't rusted or broken and I've had it almost a year. Not a heavy metal but it works!

Just fine for what it is
It's cheap, the right color, and plastic. I like 2 of the 3, but hey, at this price I'm not complaining. Like many others that buy this item, I replaced my kitchen faucet and ended up with an extra hole. This fits the hole. It even comes with a foam "washer" that will help keep it water tight. Honestly, I'm not sure why anyone would complain about this product at this price.
